To answer your question if it's okay to listen to Ye still, he's the 24th most popular artist on Spotify. I don't think most people have stopped listening to him. You shouldn't feel bad about listening to him, do what you want.
Even during the whole anti semitism shit (which was obviously horrible) songs like bound 2 and heartless were going viral all over apps like tiktok, so the music has always been undeniable no matter what.
@@Alan-tx4fn That's not how it works I'm afraid. Salvador Dali's paintings are still appreciated and he was an anti-semite, his works contained antisemitic themes. That Justin Vernon vocal line on That's My Bitch is so underrated. It makes the song so much better lol. Also just realized you didn't listen to the deluxe version, you would've loved H*A*M :)

This sound of music can only be made by someone who is insanely rich. lol Its so lush and extravagant. They were both at the peak of their popularity at this time, and the confidence exudes all over the album. Fantastic reaction, per usual. I hope you and anyone who reads this has a wonderful and positive week!
Rick Rubin had heavy input in this album and actually changed the sound a bit. So yeah two SUPER Rich men rapping on an album with AN EVEN RICHER man having creative input too
Back then perhaps, but anyone has the potential to make this kind of sound these days. You need insane talent, obviously, but it can be done much cheaper these days...if you're a musical genius.
you're like the only internet reviewer I care to watch. keep doing your thing ! also I think you would really really love reacting to "leak 04-13" by jai paul. it's one of the most influential and craziest pop albums of this generation, like a cross between prince and dilla.
At 11:31 Mercurial attempts to make a severe part about Kanye and his views, only to be hit with the most 'Kanye' line on the album. It just had to happen, didn't it? Great video - you clearly have lots of fun and it shows!
Yeah, for reactions I try and stay away from deluxe versions. Can you imagine how long the videos would be! Also, I've been burnt with 'deluxe' versions of albums in the past. I think they used the word deluxe in the same way as I use the word filler. :-)
@@mercurialno6 Deluxe versions 90% of the time are just useless extras from albums but i think the deluxe is the definitive version, all of those songs are great
great record. otis is one of my favorites for sure. it's very akin to bound 2 in the aspect that it's nothing more than a sample with very minimal original production, and it sounds absolutely incredible. "photoshoot fresh, looking like wealth / i'm about to call the paparazzi on myself" is an alltime classic jay-z bar, but both of them do amazing on that song. i really like lift off (the super deep bass notes are great) and why i love you (everything about the dramatic atmosphere of this track is crazy good)
WTT 2011 tour was my first real concert and one of the best concert experiences I've ever had, even in the nosebleeds. That show was insane, they played paris x7
I know it's been requested many times, but if you'd care to do another Kanye video, I'd really love for you to check out 808s & Heartbreak. My favorite album of his along with Yeezus. A very emotional yet a delightful listen. Regardless, will watch anything you decide to create. Cheers Also, your vocals during Made In America were fantastic :)
you should React to Mr Hudsons original band Mr Hudson and the Library "Tale of Two Cities" from the early 2000's. Its a very underappreciated album that is influenced by lots of different kinds of music and there are some very catchy songs on it
Mr Hudson is a super talented British guy! You might recognise his song 'supernova' which featured Kanye and was big over here back in the day. He had a big song with N Dubz aswell
If you believe ye west is a good artist you should definitely post your reactions to his music. You can still enjoy his music without agreeing with everything he says and/or believes
It's common slang. So much so that I kinda put off doing this album cause I was genuinely worried I'd have to think about Jay-z and Kanye with their pants around their ankles!
Ye is a fallen God. I'd say he's a lot like Lucifer really. Both their story's are errily similar. Maybe he made a deal with the devil in his life. Got everything he wanted but with terrible luck once he had it.
