1990 I starred at the Mattituck NY North Fork Community Theatre in OLIVER! as Fagin. What a tremendous time. Kudos to the 2023 New York City Center Encores! OLIVER! powers-that-be.
We will be seeing it on Sunday!!!

He was here, but then I think he fell sick - I spoke to somebody the other day who says he's sick. Gavin Lee was his replacement for the time being.... until the Wednesday before the run closed, that is!
Fagin should come out before Oliver,the musical is called Oliver!

I was wondering why Fagin had the final bow.
@@dukeofrodtown1705 One explanation is that Fagin is usually played by a name actor, in this case, Raul Esparza. So he's sort of the "star" so he takes the last bow rather than a child actor.
The Rocky Horror Show is named after Rocky. But neither is he the main character nor should he take the last bow. Godot doesn't take a bow at all, and neither does The Tempest.
@@wewper this is different. Oliver is the main character and should get the last bow,fagin is a support character and him bowing last like he’s the main character is ridiculous!
