This lecture explains the Gamma distribution and its features. A relation between Normal and Gamma distribution is also discussed.

in example1 why we take y=x-20000
X is the daily consumption of milk. People will drink 20,000 gallons + some gallons (because the question is "in excess of 20,000 gallons"). In question the gamma distribution parameters is given for 'excess of 20,000 gallons' not for '20,000 gallons' .
Therefore we have to find the excess amount of gallons that is>20,000 .
X= 20,000 gallons + some extra gallons
let Y be the some extra gallons .
X=20,000+Y --------1
we have to find 'excess of 20,000 gallons'
therefore we have to find Y
From 1
Y=X-20,000
What you are explaining explain it completely
Yeah . Pls stop saying "this,this,this"🙏🙏

Thank you sir, please make a video on multi objective optimization
Thanks a lot please guide me books statistics interfane ,anova 🙏💖💖💖🙏
Sir why ee have integrated and written twice of even function
We had to write just f of z
thank you sooo much sir
it's good even if you can speak little bit slowly
but in mmgt,gamma of 3 is 3! and gamma of n is n(gamma of n+1
If n is integer then Gamma of n is n! . however for integer and non-integer n, we also have Gamma of n = n Gamma(n-1).
Example:- Gamma(3)=3!=6.
Gamma(3)= 3 Gamma(2) = 3x2xGamma(1) =3x2x1=6 .. Hope it clear to you.
I think it would be better make separate video to each kind erlang in a separate video and so on. Great Thanks.
Separate videos on Erlang distribution videos are uploaded.... Watch it
Thank you sir
Nicely explanation sir
Sir and also Beta distribution video upload sir
Thank you for your videos
Many thanks.... Kindly share with other too
Thank you sir 💝
So nice of you
Beautiful ❤❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Hope you like the video.
Nicely explained
Is thapar institution good for engineering?
Sir, In gamma distribution (1st kind) alpha>0 and also for Erlang distribution alpha> 0
So what's the difference?
See the special case again... For the integer part.
Ok, in gamma distribution alpha take positive real values and in Erlang distribution alpha take positive integer values ,right?
Erlang distribution videos also uploaded.... Watch it
