Just a tip, for washi tape, you can put them on a embroidery hoop too. That's what I keep mine on, however, beware, they will accumulate..I have wayy too many washing tape haha :)
Thank you! Great idea. I have a few sturdy hoops that aren't being used right now.
❤can we really have too much washi tape lol😅
Hello! I just discovered you while searching for bible journaling videos! I've never journaled in a bible before, but I felt compelled to try it. Since Jan 1st of this year, I believe the Lord is asking me to commit to studying the bible. I'm expecting my journal from Amazon tomorrow! Thank you for your videos!
I love my TAB punch, too! But I assemble my tabs in in a different way than you. I Fold my cardstock in half then punch with the fold inside the punch. Then I adhere thin strips of 1/8" of double-sided RED tape [the kind with a plastic liner] to each inner edge of the tab. This RED tape allows me to 'mass produce' my tabs in advance so they're ready when I feel inspired. This method is very gental on my Bible pages - so far no tearing or ripping of page edges.... I make my ribbon clip bookmarks in advance, too. tfs!
The Shema is what we as Jews say before we go to sleep. The last words on our lips.
Your channel just popped out on my feed and I'm loving it. Your personality is super cute. You probably hear this all the time like I do. But girly I wish we lived closer together. We would literally have a ball worshiping and praising the Lord.
I'm not gonna lie I've been struggling falling into God's Word in a deeper way ....I've read it a couple times through but have been struggling to grasp how to dig deeper and have revelations, I'm grateful to have seen your page though its so inspiring like im waiting now for my tynsdale dictionary and journaling Bible that I can make my own creative expression of time with God. Never saw my studying able to be this way I'm excited again and I thank the Lord for working through you to provide movements like this 🙏 🙌 ❤️
Maybe try praying and opening yourself to God before you study. Revelations don’t come from yourself, they come from the Spirit. Pair the Spirit’s teachings with basic knowledge on the Bible and you’ve got a good mix. 😊
Your Bible tote is a knitting tote! Such a great idea to use for Bible journaling supplies ❤
I like the Avery repositional tabs
My pages are so thin you can almost read the other side. My bible is the creative bible floral edition and KJV (LOVE IT!!!) With this, I made my own tabs and some for my mother as well. It works wonders where it doesn’t rip the pages. All I do is find a pretty background, print it, find a tab design, print it, cut out design, trace it for more tabs on back of background. Then I would write the Bible names, cut them out with the tab shape design from the background paper. Finally, I would use packing tape to help laminate it and cut off excess tape but don’t cut too close to the tab or else it will come apart. Leave a scissor size (metal from scissors so you can see it) and that will help to not come apart. Then use regular tape and fold like a rectangle and put on both sides of the tab and place tabs on bible. This also helps when you want to move them around or adjust it. Works very well for my mother and I.
Yah I can‘t wait. You are such a blessing to my life 💗 You‘re videos are just so good and full of wisdom and laughter
I’m so glad to hear it! Praise the Lord! That is so encouraging to hear!
The .005 microns are all I use for writing in my more expensive Bibles, or for things I don’t want to fade over time. Did you know that if you fold the paper before putting it in that punch, and keep the folded edge a hair outside of the cut space, you have both sides of your tab cut at once, connected at the top like actual tabs, and open on the bottom to attach to pages? And you can avoid the tearing by using a tape runner because they are strong enough on their own. Game changer! Mine didn’t come with the adhesive covers, those are cool, but wouldn’t like the tearing.
Put washi on the edge of the tab/page to prevent rips!
Brilliiant!
I Use the Avery repositional tabs. They are great for using in your Bible and come in cute patterns.
Thank you for the recommendation! I'll have to check them out!
Thanks for the shoutout, you are super welcome again! 🤗 I knew you’d fall in love with the Pigma Microns! I have so many it’s not even funny!! Your videos are always a highlight for me, your enthusiasm for the Word is contagious! 🙌🏼
Thank YOU! Sending a big hug friend! And praying for Wednesday!
Micron pen lover here! Only one I use!
In thinking of verses 6-9, I’m thinking of a decluttering book I read recently. In it the author said she likes to put specific Bible verses in every room of her house, framed or art work. In doing so she’s reminded of the blessings God has given her every time she enters the room. I loved that part of the book!
I love Micron pens! I only have black but got the multi tip pack. I love them. Can’t go wrong.
Mildliners are my favorite highlighters. I’be spent way too much time watching UA-cam videos on stationary.
I have my washi in a couple of large tackle boxes I got cheap on Amazon. It’s organized and easy to get out and put back. I got a three tray cart to organize my “need it now” items. Love it!
What a great idea!
Mildliners are my favorite my love and paper mate ink joy gels and few different brands......
Faith, this might help you. Just an idea I also have been considering to try. You are looking for a solution to the tabs. Try not using the clear tape it comes with. Use the paper tabs and put 1/4" double-sided tape on the part that is to stick to the page.
You are so blessed Faith
Mr. Pen has great Tabs, I just found your videos and I love them, they have really inspired me.
Glad you like them! Also, I am looking up the Mr. Pen tabs now! SO EXCITED!
Use your (Tab puch) on a thiner paper. It's ripping because all of the weight is right in the one spot. I too had to learn this the hard way. So NOWWW I use super thin paper and it works like a dream. You can even use vellum paper for TABS for your non Journaling Bibles.
Just incase someone doesn't quite know what vellum paper is it's translucent (almost like tracing paper) but a bit thicker you can also purchase certain paper weight of vellum just like you would if you were to buy copy paper.
It's not the prettiest thing but...but you definitely look like your crafty girly so you can always pull out them Supplies and decorate them yourself. 🤷♀️ Idk I hope this helps save your future Bible paper 😉😂🤣
I love to just use a piece of washi that matches my page and fold it over to make a small tag. It's flexible and light weight. 💕💕💕 Love the bag!! And the washi tape holders....swoon 🤗so neat!! I have a pink chic sparrow notebook someone blessed me with once. They are super nice quality!! I love the classic look of yours!! It's timeless. Great video as always!!
Thank you, friend! :)
Loving your videos, Just wanted to mention, that if you put anything on your page (tags, tabs, paperclip etc.) I suggest using washi tape first. I have been bible journaling for many years and find that to be the best way so my pages don't rip.
Great idea! Thank you!
I have been searching and searching for the perfect Bible bag and I think this one is the one I have been looking by for 😃
Wow! Yay! Glad I can help! :)
@@HowtoFaithALife is the one you have the small size?
@@candicebeshears6772 pretty sure it’s the medium😊
Such great supplies! I’m very interested in the bag. I do need a place to keep my favorite items!
I have the micron pens, they are fantastic!
The tabs I love I got on Etsy. I get laminated, 2 sided tabs. My 2 favorite styles came from shops that have closed. 😢
I haven’t had much trouble with pages ripping, but I’m careful when turning pages. (I even put some in my Schuyler Bible & I use it more because of them.)
Another great tab idea is the reusable tabs. Kincome/Monochef is the brand I’m using. I stick several in the back inside cover & as I am studying, I stick them in to hold my pages. You do need to carefully remove them, but I go slowly & have not had a problem. You can write on the color part of the tab with a fine tip Sharpie marker. The other half of the tab is clear. I borrowed this idea from another you tuber. I wouldnt pick these as permanent tabs, but fantastic if you are going back & forth in your Bible.
As always your videos are super helpful & enjoyable!!
I love Travelers notebooks. What a beautiful gift!
She is the sweetest!
Hi, just an FYI, it’s a crochet bag. The holes on the top are for the yarn to be pulled through.
As a bible journaling newbie inspire by you I’ve started with colored pencils!
YAY! Yes! So simple but so beautiful!
I looked into it. It’s billed as a knitting bag and as I knit as well as bible journaler and general stationery lover, I think it’s twice as nice!
WOAH! I didn't even notice that!
I have reinforced all of tabs & the Bible pages with washi tape. That’s how I would treat the page you showed. Side note: it really helps use up washi tape quickly!
Ugh oh! Can they spoil?!
I adore your expressions with all of my heart
Probably won't see this but that bag is for crochet! I have a similar one. :) What a great option though!
The BEST tabs I've found is using that sticker printer paper and then covering it in a lightweight tape on both sides. It's not too heavy for the page, but the tape keeps it from tearing. They're more effort than premade tabs, but it's worth it.
Hey there! I love bible Journaling and Tabs. I've played around with tabs and styles....I've made tabs printed on my printer then laminate one side of the tab. How I laminate one side is place two sheets together in the laminate pocket the cut the out and the sheets will separate. Then fold the tab and glue in like normal tabs you purchase. Just an idea.
Thanks for sharing!
For me mildliners don’t bleed through my Bible even though my pages are thin! I enjoyed the video thank you!!😊
Thank YOU for watching!
I think it depends on how hard you press your pens, whether they soak through or not.
Thanks for sharing this. I ended up getting the bag for my Bible journaling stuff.
You can also put tabs on an index card and write notes
Thank you got your link soooooo Happy ❤️❤️🥰❤️
Hi!, recently found your UA-cam channel. So excited and I signed up for Bible boot camp. You need to watch the video on we r memory makers. Tab punch tutorial. It shows how to create a double sided one piece tab!! Keep fighting the good fight
I think Micronthey have a .38. The Mildliners shadow/ghost in my Crossway ESV journaling Bible. I have used them in others with different weights of paper and have not experienced bleed-through.
WOAH! I gotta find those!
I just ordered a Bible bag. Why didn’t I think of that? I have so many art supplies that I Bible decorate with it’s great to have it all in one spot.
I love post it note tabs!
I don't know if you've heard of Daily Grace Co, but I use their tabs and love them! :) Also, I am loving your videos! Stumbled on some by accident last week and now I'm hooked. LOL!
This is one of my favorite parts of my Mondays!!!🥰
😍 awe! So sweet! What a compliment! I had fun chatting! :)
For your tabs. I think packing tape with the scrapbook paper cut from the tab punch works best.
Brilliant! Why didn't I think of that!?!
Love the bag!!! I have found that sometimes I can revive dry markers/pens by putting oil on the tips. I use cuticle oil because I have it around.
Great tip! THANK YOU!
The crayons super tips are the same colors as the midliners and don’t bleed through when highlighting…and they’re cheaper & more colors!
YAYYY SO EXCITED
:))) hehe I had fun chatting!
Hi! my sister taught me that if you fold washi tape like a taco over the whole edge of the page, the page is much less likely to tear when you stick a tab to it!!
This is great! I'm a big fan of the paper clip bookmarks. I have found that when using the dollar tree paperclips, sometimes the edges are sharp and I've torn a couple bible pages that way. Another thing is pens. I have SO MANY pens. Pens are my obsession. LOL But some of my favorites are the microns, some cheapo fineliners (because I get SO MANY colors and they are SO CHEAP), as well as one specific black pen that I probably use even more than my micron (although I don't think I have any 005, just 01 and 02 - so if I get an 005 I might change my stance on that). My next venture is to find the perfect highlighters for me. My other 'got to haves' are stickie notes and notepads for extra notes and of course tons of washi.
OH! I am putting the finishing touches on my disc bound BIble. It ended up being 8 different volumes! :O But that's ok. lol I'll use one of my other Bibles to flip around in when studying. I'm loving it so far! UA-cam doesn't allow me to share pictures, or I'd send some.
WOW! 8 volumes? That is ridiculous! Sounds like a lot of work but it will be SO rewarding!
@@HowtoFaithALife haha yeah. BUT I bought super giant print (16 point font... my 'regular' journaling bible I think was like 9). So the Bible itself had like 2500 pages. LOL I wanted plenty of journaling room. I absolutely love it and can't wait to start really getting into it and using it.
@@BiblicallyNoted yes! Sounds so cool!
Sticker tabs are really good
I would love a video on how you prepare or teach your kids a bible lesson. Fairly new in my walk and would love to get my 5,2 and baby involved soon
That brand bag has other styles I love, with lots of pockets and zippered closure.
Your travelers notebook, you can get them from Chic Sparrow, online. They are beautiful,I have 4 of them in different sizes, they're made of leather.
Oh wow! thank you!
How about a video like this but with all Dollar Tree items? God bless y'all 😇💙💙💙💙
THAT'S BRILLIANT! ooooop I guess that means I need to take myself to Dollar Tree ;))))
The leather notebook cover is most likely a Travelers Notebook Cover from ChicSparrow 😊
Oh thank you!
Just a note about erasable pens- the ink disappears with heat so they are not the best for any notes you want to last a long time. All it would take it leaving your Bible in a hot car and those notes could disappear forever. You can test if they are doing that by making test marks and then using a hair dryer on them. Also even if they are more heat resistant, if the ink isn't archival then it could get super blurry or disappear anyway over a period of several years.
WOW 😳......I love it...... powerful......God brought us together......I needed this
I get my micron pens at hobby lobby when the put then on sale 40% or 50% off.. it’s a punch, lol, not a stamp. Really enjoy your videos, they help me so much
Hi Faith. Love watching your videos. You're the light shining on the hill top. So bright and beautiful. I was wondering what size bullet journal notebooks the leather thing takes and if theres 2 or 4 strings. Would like to know the brand if its on the leather somewhere. Keep shinning brightly 🙏🌟💞
Ty Faith ! This video was awesome !👌 🤗
Glad you liked it!!
Off track but … Loving your earring collection :) But your videos are amazing, I love bible Journalling x
Thank you! I love my silly earrings for sure!
Gbu Faith, you know I also saw on my Chrisian Planner page ideas that for the whashee tapes, when you run out of the clear wrap from your kitchen drawer or pantry you can use the carton tube to store them😬 its "free99"🤣. Gbu, when I run outta mine I'm try.
I love "Mr. Pen" highlighter & pens, they do not bleed through, because I have really thin vellum paper in my Bible...
I like the repositioning tabs that you can remove and not hurt your bible page
Happy Friday 0:29
I noticed the bag comes in 3 sizes. Do you know which size you have? Measurements would help. Thanks for sharing!
What about reinforcing the page with washi tape or clear tape before using the strong 💪🏽 tabs?
Oooooo, this is a brilliant idea!
That's smart! I need to try that next!
I have a washi tape buying issue too 🤦🏽♀️ and I also have some in my Amazon cart 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
LOL we must be SISTERS!
The Shema is in my Torah portion. :)
I fell in love with bible studying and my Jesus Calling devotional I learned lot your tricks to bible journaling I love it with scapebook paper or extra page tip-in for notes....I do rub on stickers for flowers or art but I'm not big on covering the word my journaling bible is my main study bible for reference study bible I use life application study bible about get James stronghold for bible dictionary and concordance
I love these type of videos:)
I have that tab punch too but I use washi tape to affix them to the pages and I haven’t had any issues.
Oh wow! Do you laminate them with washi tape?
@@HowtoFaithALife nope. What I do is I fold the scrapbook paper and carefully punch it so that the fold is at the top of the tab, making it double sided when folded (I hope that makes sense hahaha) then I use washi tape along the bottom of the tab to tape it to both sides of the page.
@@HowtoFaithALife because it’s folded scrapbook paper they hold up pretty well without laminating.
@@aleamilr OKAY WOW THAT'S BRILLIANT. Now I want to try! Any tips to lining up the fold?! Seems hard but I'm sure it's easy if you just look through the bottom window?
@@HowtoFaithALife yep, use the tab upside down so you can see better. I even removed the little plastic cover.
You could try to use washi tape and make your own tabs. It might be less sturdy but it probably won’t tear the pages
Great idea!
Thank u for all the information
You are welcome!
Love this!
I LOVE the 005 Micron for my bible, I am surprised the writing is not worn off yours, that is the first to go long before mine are dry lol. Btw it is the coating on the paper not only the thickness that will prevent bleeding. I like using moderate quality colored pencils for highlighting (student/artist quality vs kids).
Wait- your micron 005 gets worn off the page?!!! 😥
@@HowtoFaithALife LOL sorry, I meant the writing on the barrel of the pen. It would be very surprising is someone managed to rub archival ink of a page.
When my tabs started ripping my pages, I reinforced them with skinny washi tape and they have held up super well
Great suggestion!
Love the bag! I like the stick on tabs from Dollar Tree. You stick them on easy. Unfortunately they aren't pretty, just white. And to be honest I haven't used them in my bible so I don't how they work with that. But I use them for my notebooks for notes and I've been happy with them.
I wish I could support your channel more.
How's everything going? We're going through really hot and humid weather in New York.
We have the same kind of weather here! It is rough but better than cold! lol ;)
Where did you get that purple tote bag 0:47
Very informative video. Thanks for sharing
Glad it was helpful!
Fabulous thanks
The leather cover is Chic sparrow :-)
Thank you Teresa!
Teresa is so sweet
Sweet Teresa... By any chance, do you remember the size you purchased for Faith? That was a BEAUTIFUL gift. Keeping a few littler books together in one seems like the PERFET arrangement. Chic Sparrow....I did find that. Thank you in advance.
@@maureenharrah931 yes it’s wide. That’s a little bigger than standard narrow.
@@teresa8287 Thank you....they have so many styles.....
Love ur videos and the collection i bought from u!!!! :)

I have a question, I am wanting to begin studying my bible. I’ve done bible readings but never really studied the Bible. Which book is the best place to start or just where should I start? I have the supplies to start I just get overwhelmed with the where to begin. ☺️🙏🏻
Great question! I always like to tell people either the gospels or Romans!
Micron has a .003 too - even finer than .005 :)
My issue is that I’m a stationary border. I had so many highlights and pens that I want with me at all times and I have trouble narrowing it down
LOL! I can relate!!!! I just thought I was going crazy!!!! Thank you for making me feel more normal! lol
Try the Pentel Slicci .25 ... love them waaaayyyy more then pigmas
Look at Amazon that you linked they do have smaller tot.....I'm order them
Yay! Hope you enjoy it!
@@HowtoFaithALife I will
I’m curious about the Washi tape dispenser..I wondered if the Washi that’s exposed to the air dries out? (Between the roll and serated edge?
Pro tip: you can actually use just some good ol’ packing tape instead of buying the tab adhesives. All you have to do is just stick the two tabs top farting each other on the tape and the cut around the tab😊
*FACING OMG AUTOCORRECT
Lol I didn’t even notice at first! Lol
I have loved watching your channel grow 💕
Thank you so much!! :)
Admittedly when I watched your UA-cam for the first time I wasn't sure if I would watch anymore. And I questioned myself as to why. So, in my mind, when I question myself I feel it may be an actual prompt to say "Well, why not?". So I have watched more and I think I have figured it out. No offense intended at all and DO NOT change anything, please!
I am a fast thinker, however, I am not a fast speaker. You are a fast speaker, so I can't imagine how fast your mind goes! I can follow and you get through to me, but I'm just sayin' I can feel the little chirpy birds and stars swirling around the top of my head! 😉
Once I realized this it was like "ok, this should be fun!". And it is. Somehow you manage to stay on point even if you catch another idea in mid-air. I get this, because my daughters told me (years ago) that their dad said I was "flighty". When I asked them what he meant by that, one of them said he told them "Your mom is like a quail, you think she's being all calm and quiet just going about her business and then when you least expect it she will flush up and is gone before you know it". That's me mentally. But quail have their space and can go right back to being in the zone. Many blessings and thank you for your videos!
Thanks for watching!
If I used the Mildliner to actually highlight, it does bleed through, so now I only use the fine edge to underline with it.
Oh man! What Bible do you have? Do you know the thickness of the paper?
When I used bible tabs and the pages began to tear, I reinforced the page edges with scotch tape, which seems to have done the trick
I will say that the twistable crayons do crack in the hands of a 1.5 and 4 year old 😂 I bought these and now have a ton of empty cases and the tiny crayons from inside from breaking and falling out. If I had kept them to myself they would be great though. 😊
Who would have thought! Oh man! hahahah
