This is probably the only 'off-body' concealed carry method I'd use in public. Sort of like a covered chest holster, which would be considered open carry.
Seems like any AIWB holster should work, and would allow you to remove the holster and then transfer and use it appendix carry. The only thing is appendix carry works best with the loop side adhered to the holster, as the hook side would likely adhere to your underwear and would grab at clothing when you slide the holster in behind your belt and clip it. Are there any pre-made panels you're aware of that are 'hook' on both sides?
