Ya bro! I was just looking at getting one of these! Just so you know..the tabs in the CC area are meant for quick deployment of your pistol. If you leave the right one sticking up with the zippers pulled to each side of it, you can just grab the tab, pull down and left, and it opens really fast. 🤙
With the Velcro belt section I used one of 5.11 Velcro drop dangler pouches to add extra carrying capacity. It doesn’t quite fit but works pretty well.
Gonna use this for my grey man build. I have the lv18 backpack with the lv6 waist, gunna add this to it, and have a fully tactical but fully grey man concealed pack
Great Video ! One item that should be carried is a Faraday Bag for Cell-phones, Passport, credit cards and keyless entry keys (for smart cars) ! Some Russians where targeted in a war zone because they talked too much on the cellphones ! The two big pockets carry the Nav Kit and First Aid/Trauma Supplies ! tjl
@@TiberiousGib Great Comment ! They may not be the only ones tracking you ! Passports have RFID chips that can trigger an IED... Some people clone Smart Keys and then borrow the smart car ! Stay safe ! tjl
I personally get rid of the drawstrings on my hoodies and even in the waist portion of the jacket........ Multiple videos online showing negligent discharge by those slipping into the trigger guard..... Something to think about..... Thanks for the review
Great Video ! Have a 5.11 Store much too close... In ABQ ! Looks like a great chest bag to hold topo map and compass and maybe small binoculars to view the Falcon 9 launches from Vandenburg SFB from the foothills on the East side of ABQ, NM ! tjl
5.11 has excellent well thought out gear. From day one I have always disliked that they plaster prominently 5.11 all over their stuff. Liking a lower profile approach, I tend to shy away from their gear.
I just got one. I put dog stuff in it & a Glock 9mm I’m going to see if a 10MM fits for the back country. I wear this and a backpack they work well together
Have you tried using a Maxpedition universal pistol wrap or any pistol wrap? It made drawing firearm easier on my 5.11 LV6 waist pack since the pistol won't be moving around inside.
What were you shooting in this video? You say you can kinda fit a 19 and kinda fit a 17. Whatever you're using looks bigger than a 19 but maybe not. I really want one of these but worried a 17 or rather ss dr920 wont fit. Any confirmation of a 17 fitting or pictures? Really wish rney made an xl size as i like their setup the best for the money

Looks like you can remove the original strap but the connect points are proprietary. Not sure it will work?
