I was super thrilled when I saw that you were playing this game. Your For Beginners on P5 was my introduction to the franchise and what turned me onto the series as a whole. Thanks to you and your awesome videos, I dumped a couple hundred hours into P5 and P5R and then decided to pick up P3R. Finished it just the other day at 130 hours, crying violently and then immediately diving into NG+. So thanks for all the awesome work you do, Buns ❤
Even though the extra dough for the Answer is dumb and I'll never not be salty about the FEMC route (and my lord and savior Theo) being cut, I still kicked my legs and giggled like a schoolgirl seeing and hearing best boy Akinari in this game so I regret nothing

Been playing Reload more than Rebirth, and I honestly dunno how this happened. I've rewatched the stream more than once, and I just now realize the genius-tier name that is "Revolver Doorcelot". I gotta remember it for my Merciless run

What I would give for Persona 2 with less confusing communication on the gameplay side of things. I've been trying to get through Innocent Sin and I love the characters and story so far but it's really hard to know what to do or where to go without a guide. I will persist.

Man this game's release really brought out all the P3 purists sleeper agents who were all lying dormant in our society. I would be one of them but I'm also very harsh with criticism on things I used to like as a kid so nothing really gets a nostalgia pass with me. Tldr: I like Reload, its fun and any negatives I find being a by-product of issues brought over from the original game so in that sense I guess I kinda wished they were fixed. Mostly from the writing department side like for Social Links and certain cutscenes because the new story content I think is genuinely great, the gameplay is miles better for me (even playing with AI party members) but as usual enemies and bosses should be better balanced around the new mechanics. I'm kinda surprised they still refuse to do that ngl. And finally the new tracks are great and the remade tracks are a fine replacement without surpassing the originals, oh yes I do find the new Changing Seasons good and yes I think everyone complaining is dumb and I advise them to get over it.
Overall I guess I'm just not a fan of one-to-one remakes with a shiny coat of paint because there's usually nothing new to experience for the most part but at the same time said remake shouldn't stray so far that nothing from the original makes the cut like with RE3R. Reload is just barely skating the line of "too much like the original but with nice graphics" but I'll give it a pass since the new stuff is stuff I really like and I wish there was more. Good game but as with any Atlus product, buy it after a few months and pray they don't re-release it with a new waifu. Excited to play the Answer and not get bored to death while playing though!
To conclude let me rephrase what my buddy said before he left the Persona franchise: die-hard P3 fans are probably the hardest SoBs to please in the entire megaten fandom so don't even try. Especially FeMC fans, you DON'T blue-ball a FeMC fan if you know what's good for you.

I would absolutely pay $30 to get the FeMC in P3. I was choosing between buying P3P for switch and P3R for PS, and almost chose P3P just for her. That was almost $50 in revenue lost because I wanted to see the different social links.
As an aspiring writer, I feel super freaking silly not noticing the elevator theme with Tartarus! I'm on NewGame+ and still didn't notice! In my defense, the game is full of distractions *cough* (Elizabeth) *cough* (Fuuka).

The reason why Mitsuru is 25 in high school is because she needs to be able to take care of Sees kids and scout the students for potential, but despite being exceedingly wealthy they don't think that she should be pretending to be a teacher, instead of a student
All wanted to see was if there's a proper opening or if they cut the animations like they did in the other version. Seeing that they didn't, I'm gonna go and get it ✨ the opening scene (or the animations in general) was always my favorite thing about persona 3. It's so cool!

Fun thing about the name entry on pc, you can enter anything. it doesnt matter how wierd the character is if it exists you can put it here
for a perfect example, check the Jack Benci runs. the names he uses are legendary cause they look like modern hyroglyphs

Buns, I wish I was as optimistic as you are about FeMC. Considering the misogyny of both Japanese and American male gamers, I find it difficult to believe that Atlus would take the risk of pissing them off. I suspect that Atlus Japan thinks the desire for FeMC is more internet wanted than all gamers wanted.
I love the game visually. But really everything else is just a downgrade. Especially the loss of ANSWER and FemC.
Well, The Answer will come out on September. Also, to remind everyone, FeMC together with The Answer is not gonna works, lore-wise. So, gotta choose one. The Answer is the only perfect option.
I feel the opposite. I love the gameplay updates and voice acting but miss the old illustrations. FemC is cute as heck but her route never felt real or true to me. Plus it introduces some options that should have never existed.
Imo especially with the price of the game. RIP to everyone who bought the Aigis edition and now has to pay another 30 smackaroonies for The Answer. (I also think the romances in the FEMC route were, for the most part, better/more romantic. Shinji's rank 9 and 10, plus the scene with Theo in your room? DELICIOUS. Making a FEMC Answer with Shinjiro in Yukari's role, even as a comic or a light novel, was a missed opportunity too imo. I'd pay full price for that.)
