The 300-400 price braquet is really heating up and we have wonderful sets that hit the sweet spot of price versus value (potential end-game IEMs). Thank you for comparing the Hype 4 with the DaVinci and Dusk since these models have grabbed the attention of the Chi-fi community. Never expected to see Barney's hot-crazy scale applied to IEMS but it adds valuable information to the comparisons.

It's truly amazing how much iem sound quality has increased in the past decade. I got the Aful Performer 5 and just now the Hype 4. They both sound rapturous.
So glad I saw this vid.. been debating on the hype 4, dunu davinci and ziigaat Estrella’s.. I just recently purchased the xenns mangird tea pro which is in pre order right now.. been a bit worried in the blind buy, but you’ve reassured me I shouldn’t worry with my decision.. also curious about the ifi go pods.. I have the kz xz10s and I love them with my BLON 03 attached to them.. curious how the ifi go pod stacks up to the kz xz10.. 200$ price difference says they should be better.. but 200$ better..?
@@Nucleus2301 I love them.. very glad I chose what I chose.. metal shell great cable great accessories.. bass is punchy and clean.. I’ve heard the Estrella has a bit more sub bass.. but I don’t regret the tea pro purchase.. still might get the Estrella one day..
I thought I had seen every video on the Hype 4. I bought it a few weeks ago and have enjoyed the heck out of them. I can tell you…I replaced the stock ear tips with Spinfit W1s and the treble and midrange went from good to excellent. The treble is more sparkly now and vocals have much better micro detail. They have absolutely taken these iems to a new level! BTW, I really like your comparisons of these iems to girls. 👍🏼
I had the Hype 4 for 2 weeks and thought it was good. But the Crinacle dusk on the default tuning via the Qudelix 5K was god tier and I'm over the moon with it. Hype 4 lacked the balance and detail and tightness of the Dusk.
