I absolutely love those little stinkers! I've been obsessed for the last few years. The first year I had so so many and had multiple feeders hung around the yard and it was a lot to keep up with! The following year, I only had a couple show up and I was so upset and thought it was something I did, but the third year, I got more back! So if you don't see as many this year, just keep feeding them! They'll be back! I never thought about a little bath area for them, but now it looks like I'm going to need to get one! I can't wait for their return! 🐦
That’s so interesting. I’m still waiting for them to come, I’m thinking maybe I haven’t seen any because we’ve had a cold couple days. I’m hoping they come soon!! Thanks for the advice! 🥰
Yay!! If you’ve seen a hummer they’ll be here soon if not already. Love the ant mote gotta check that out. I always hate to see them go too but so happy for them for them to return! 🥳💚 the Ruby necked ones are the males.
For me... I have noticed that every year/season, the hummingbird population grows! So... you may have more hummingbirds this year than you had last year! 😊
My yard is set up in such a way that I can't keep the feeders out of the view of each other so they all seem to want to use just 1 feeder. Hopefully this year I can put a couple in my front yard as well as the back. I love when the hummies show up.
I have bird feeders and hummingbird feeders all on the front of my house and the hummingbird feeder is probably about 8 ft away from the closest bird feeder and I didn't notice any issues. I definitely need to invest in the ant moat, but ants aren't so much the problem as the bees..🤔
I don’t think you need to move your feeder’s from the house. Either have them right by the house or more than three feet away. My feeder has been right by my kitchen window for years with no problems. I am envious you have enough hummers to need more than one feeder. Look forward to seeing more footage.
I live in so. Calif an have hummers all year long on my patio. Their aerial dances are my fav thing to watch.
Nice!! I wish they stayed here all year. 🥰

Ohh so exciting!! I’m still waiting for them. I’m wanting to go buy some flowers that will attract them. 🥰
You should check out Robbie and Gary Robbie makes lots of fountains and she feeds hundreds of hummingbirds daily. She lives in California.
Yes! I’ve seen some of her video when I was first keeping feeders. 🥰
I didn't know any of this about hummingbirds.
Thanks for watching!! 🥰

Nice!! The bees don’t bother my feeders much. What state are you in? Have you seen any yet!? 🥰
@@PeanutsPlants I'm in central Virginia...none yet

If the hummies are in your area now it won't be long before they make their way to Indiana. I've washed my feeders now I need to get them filled.
I’m still waiting for them 😑 I’m changing the water today. Hopefully they will come soon!!!! 🥰
