Stockton Multi-Style is the real deal. Leo Giron is a true bladed warrior. Please correct me if I am wrong, but the only thing I don't quite understand is that I heard there was some type of split within the group, with some going in one direction and some going in the other direction. Are relations between the groups better now? What's the difference between what these two groups teach and their philosophies? Do they both basically teach the same system that was taught by Leo Giron? Or do they differ in what they teach?

Thanks for the comment and the question.
As with many styles, differences in training and philosophy once the founder passes are inevitable. Yes, there are different systems that all train the teachings of Leo Giron. I cannot speak to any other organizations other than Stockton Multistyle.
What I do know is that many of the Stockton MultiStyle instructors trained directly under Leo Giron and are graduates of Leo Giron original system. As their name suggests, they teach not only what they learned from Leo Giron but also other styles that are from Stockton. Please visit their website, www.stocktonmultistyle.com or reach out directly to find out more.
I was not around during that time to speak about it.
