Enjoyed your first vlog. Don't worry about vlogging, it will get better with time. Right now I enjoyed the content and the humor you both have. The background music was a bit loud but I've only started watching. I'm confident you have already corrected that issue. Keep up the good work as we here in the US (Kentucky to be exact) are hooked on the inland waterways of the UK and all the history we learn from these vlogs. I agree about Wes and Amy, watch out for those two 😄
Thank you so much! We’re beyond excited to be living this dream, and it means a lot to have you along for the journey. We can’t wait to share more videos and adventures with you! 😊
Thank you so much! 😊 We're really glad you enjoyed it, and we're excited to share more of our adventures with you. Britain certainly is beautiful, and it’s been so inspiring being so close to nature along the canals. There’s plenty more to come, and we can’t wait to take you along for the ride! ❤🇬🇧
Thank you so much! 😊 We're glad you enjoyed it, even with our charging hiccups-turns out, filming on a boat while chasing power can be an adventure in itself! 😅 But hey, life’s too short, and we all need a bit of adventure, right? Thanks for the good luck wishes, we’ll definitely need them!
@@Narrowboat-photography thanks for watching in the first instance. And thank you for your comments defo take them on board. Excuse pun. We are on a massive learning curve when it comes to UA-cam. Ex Navy so the RAF are always an easy target
Good effort but please tone down the music. Could you give us more information about your passages and what they mean both to you and in general. Love the pictures of the birds. Wonderful. Keep up the good work. 👍⛵️
Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words! 😊 We really appreciate it. We'll definitely keep the music volume in mind for future videos and try to strike a better balance. As for the passages, we’d love to share more about them! They represent not just the physical journey along the canals but also our personal experiences and reflections as we live this lifestyle. Every stretch of the waterways has its own charm and history, and being able to document that-along with what it means to us-is a big part of why we’re doing this. We’re also thrilled that you enjoyed the bird footage! This being our first year, it's been an absolute pleasure to watch the birds nest, hatch, and grow along our journey. Thanks again for watching and for your support! 😊
Congratulations on beginning your new adventure. Or should I say adventures? The "helpful" comments are mostly coming from folks like me who want you to succeed on the water and online. Overall good storytelling; and videography--I watched to the end. Good luck developing your skills on both fronts.
Thank you so much! We really appreciate your kind words and encouragement. It's definitely an adventure (or should I say many adventures!), both on the water and in learning all things videography. We're so grateful for the helpful advice from viewers like you - it really means a lot as we try to improve both our boating and storytelling skills. Thanks again for watching all the way through and for your support!
Laughed my ass off. I have just cruised up from Rugby boats to Mercia Marina, and moored on the wharf where you left from. I must have passed you, as the canal had just opened, past flood. Well done.
Best of luck on what I'm sure will be an amazing chapter in your lives. I'm looking at some of those unused/redundant roof bracket type things and wondering should they be removed. Can forsee a very nasty accident if someone on the roof, maybe struggling to push off a bank with the barge pole, fell on to them.
@@matthewjenkins1161 thank you for your kind comments and concern. We are hoping to utilize what we have so in place. Standby for the next video you may notice a change on the roof 😏
Thanks for the heads-up! Apologies if the loud music gave your ears an unexpected workout-hopefully no permanent damage done! 😅 We're still getting the hang of balancing audio (who knew it could be so tricky?), but we’re on it for future videos. Your feedback is gold, and we promise to keep the music at a level where it doesn't feel like you're at a concert! Thanks for bearing with us as we figure it all out! 🎶
