I enjoy the struggles of Spider-chan trying to survive in a world that's much harsher than she expected, but hearing her lament about her near-overwhelming struggles in this song is just too good! And hey, I applaud you for watching the anime Jerod. It's a bit darker than you'd think from the highlights, but it's a good show.

Weirdly enough, I do have Arachnophobia, but the anime only barely gave me any issues. Which also meant that it would make it more difficult for me to use it to cure myself of my phobia...
I honestly think the OP needs some more love, but considering how crazy this ED I can't blame people for loving this. Seriously, I swear this ED was a bet made behind the scenes to put as many genres in one song. XD If you do end up watching the anime, just know the first episodes dialogue goes by so fast but does get better as it goes on.
It's one of my faves ending atm actually. It kinda puts more emphasis on how ridiculously Kumoko's life is. Really put a big grin on my fave to see you react to the energy of this ending xD

To be fair everything until episode 12 is basically the prologue of the story, so besides that there isn't really anything other than the protagonist to keep you watching it. And even the second cour (13 to 24) it's still the start of the story, the anime will likely end on the first big plot twist of the series (Volume 5 of the light novels), so you will only have a gist of what makes the series good.
randomly binge watched it yesterday, the only problem with the anime is that there aren't enough episodes it might be the first anime that gets me into reading manga
The anime isn't over yet! Also, the manga cuts all the other characters pov so reading the manga, you gonna lose all the world building of the series so reading the manga it's like watching a clip compilation. If you want to read the series, read the light novel.

This semester has been absolute hell, but this video is filled with so much infectious joy that I’ve come back to listen to it at least 20 times at this point. To be fair everything until episode 12 is basically the prologue of the story, so besides that there isn't really anything other than the protagonist to keep you watching it. And even the second cour (13 to 24) it's still the start of the story, the anime will likely end on the first big plot twist of the series (Volume 5 of the light novels), so you will only have a gist of what makes the series good.

The anime isn't over yet! Also, the manga cuts all the other characters pov so reading the manga, you gonna lose all the world building of the series so reading the manga it's like watching a clip compilation. If you want to read the series, read the light novel.

For anyone wondering, the song is literally her life story, telling about her powers, how she got her start, and how she hates she was reborn as a spider of all things. The slow part with her in a kimono has her fantasizing about the perfect isekai life she dreamed of
I love this song so much. I love this story so much. And importantly, the genre where it slowed down and had almost no drums is called "enka." It's rather interesting.
