Hat Yai Weekend Market: What to eat and What to Buy there! 合艾周末早市美食记!

Frankly, the best time to visit Kim Yong Market is during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). You will be fascinated by a variety of food, with a good local atmosphere and things to see.
The morning market started before 6 am and the crowd begins to reduce from 9 am onward, and those hawkers were also ready to conclude their business of the day.
For those who are interested to know how much we spend for our breakfast:
1. The braised pork knuckles rice or wanton noodles: one plate is around 60 baht; some prices for both shops.
2. Moo Ping (grilled pork skewers): 10 baht each.
3. Glutinous rice dumplings: 30 baht each
4. Ketupat: 20 to 30 baht each.

Is the kim yong market walking distance from the hatyai train station?

It is 9 - 12 min from the Hat Yai train station if you walk moderate speed. If you stay in the town just like us (at the Lee Garden area), then it will be around 5 mins leisure walk. It's super convenient. Where will you be staying?
