@@redwoodrebelgirl3010Cut them! we use scissors to trim the toes so that we don't get talons in our mouth lol. there are plenty of chicken feet recipes but most will require a lot of braising

It's not proven yet. I read that our bodies can digest collagen and produce collagen out of the same collagen you eat, we rather produce collagen out of protein and minerals we consume.

Thank you Aunty Kea for the educational or should say intro to Asian cuisine. I don't think I've ever tried dimsum or roasted duck or even chicken feet. But they look so yummy. The only time I had chinese food was at a restaurant and I use chop sticks instead of a fork. There should be a video on how to properly hold chop sticks before eating.
Jin dui is one of my favourite desserts of all time. I've been trying to make it for years but I can't make the outside pastry to save my life. One day. The red bean paste is so good and so many ways but I would really love to at least master that one of these days.

This is a very Malaysian take on dim sum; well I'm Malaysian and those are the stuff you get and love. I do love my lou mai kai and my mum makes chee cheong fan at home... but they fill us up so sometimes I avoid them to have more dim sum. I thought I was too boring coz I love char siu bao, har gao and siew mai; but I'm glad to see them highlighted.

I got even with my wife’s Asian Auntie for criticizing my culinary tastes and skill. We took her to a Prime Steakhouse. Auntie turned the most interesting shade of green when she was served her medium rare filet mignon. It was the perfect fish out of water moment. 😂😂😂

Haha loved it! I love dim sum but haven’t had any in a while. To get good dim sum in Houston, Texas, we need to drive far. I’m allergic to shellfish so my options are a bit limited. I always order the char siu bao, the chee chung fun, meat balls, turnip cakes and of course, dan tats 😋. I’ll share this lessons with my non dim sum friends 😁. Thank you!
