If you get meat from a butcher it is wrapped in a way it won’t freezer burn over a year , and store meat, double bag it, that will help it last

I try to just shop at Sams or Costco about every 6 weeks , in between I go to aldi for fresh fruit and salad fixings , milk, etc. I hate shopping and it saves me time and money this way , good luck 😊

I cleaned my fridge and freezer out (had a soda explode), went grocery shopping, packed up all the meat in freezer bags, and organized my pantry all in one day. It was so much work! But worth it in the end.
That is A LOT! So I didn’t end up doing it all in one day, I did all the cleaning, made my order out for Sam’s, and then picked it up the next day/organized it all
My freezer has the same issue.

We have a foods Co here that has Kroger brand so I wonder if they will have these kinds of deals 🤔
Hey gf old buddy if u froze 😮it buy the sale by date and frozen it you were fine on those out date items you need vacuum sealer and date them when freezing item it last several years that way but I think u threw out good food family not knowing it 😢😮 I always buy once month u can do this I believe in you

We always shop this way. When you bring stuff home, don't forget to take things ouf of the boxes while putting away, this helps in planning what to get for the next time. You can just look easilly at the stuff in your pantry and freezers. Also, invest in a food saver if you can. It is easier to preportion out meats and stuff that way.
Great tips, thank you! I did portion all the meats out with freezer bags, maybe a food saver will be something I splurge on on Black Friday!
If you get a bin fOr the freezer long one put all the random things in there.
Throw all the boxes out the freezer. Make sure you get system going for all the organization it will help a lot.
Another tip for the pantry plastic container for the snacks will help a ton of staying organizing and you'll have a lot more room
For the freezer outside I would put all the meats in there. That black shelf I would put all the extra snacks you have up top. Can goods down below in line and once you get new ones put it behind it. And stock your pile that way. Even condiments. You can get bins from dollar tree and the container will help you organize the snacks. Put bottom shelf all breakfast stuff. 1 and 2ns draw all thw snacks. The chips you can get big bin from dollar tree or one of them bins for cubal that's what I have for the chips and fruit snacks.

Love this. I usually do one big shop every month, and then I always have a few things to pick up during the month. It’s so much better for me that way. I keep a running list on the notes app on my phone.
For your deep freezer, get a few shopping bags like from Aldi, and store your freezer food in them. One for meat, one for vegetables, etc. They will help keep you organized throughout the month and everything isn’t all mixed up.
Oh this is a great idea! I have some Aldi bags I bought last time I was there that will work perfectly for that!

So yes I did! Essentially I’m trying to go zero waste- meaning we should eat down most everything before I go to the store again for another big haul
Do a pantry challenge before you do a big stockup.
