Dogs upon dogs upon dogs. There are dogs loose everywhere. It is like an epidemic out here. We constantly have both children and contractors coming on the property. Most of the dogs do not have collars so we do not know if they are wild or what. Luckily, the county has hired a new animal control director to help alleviate the problem.
BIRD SPIKES. Sold on Amazon. Keeps deer; raccons; snakes, ect from coming onto property. May keep the dogs from crawling under fencing. Worth a try to put these around entire parameter of property. 😊
Yes, it is crazy Dad and I have to be on the defense when all we want to do is enjoy our property. We hope the situation will improve soon. Thank you so much for your support. Dad and I are very grateful for the community support we have had. ❤️❤️❤️
@theresahvassman9965 the founding fathers were wise when they wrote the Bill of Rights. That's why so many have supported for so long... life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness
@Timsmith0713 girl your white supremacists Neanderthal founding fathers were rapists, pedophiles, human traffickers, enslavers of black people, and the fathers of black people.
I'm glad to see the vests! You never know what someone is up to in the woods. Even your own property, people don't care about property lines when they are already breaking the law. Be safe 😊💜
I'll say it again Miss Tiffany you and your dad need some physical presence up there so all of the people that see on UA-cam and they giving you advice I would do a meet and greet with some of them I could assist you through the process you can call it family day and have a group of people come out there and help you and your dad get some of your tasks done, your neighbors will also find out that you and you father have plenty people who LOVE youall!
Thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate your support and the idea of a meet and greet. It is great to know there are people out there who care and want to help. I will definitely think about how we can connect more with everyone and bring in some extra hands for those tasks. I am sure it would be an amazing experience for us and the community.
Hello from Central Florida. Your channel came across my feed. I watched your video and decided to subscribe. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
I really almost posted that idea to have a fire camp out invite anyone who cares to help you out. Make sure we'll publicized and let area know you are not alone.
@@JP-up3xv are there any big black biker dudes? 😳of course ! I think you need a Black Bikers festival for a whole week! Bikers love justice! You take good care bc it’s like it’s coming to a head. 🤗😘🙏🏻 and lets get the good biker dudes up there to just kinda chill out!
If the person does not move or take down their fence you can charge the neighbor for the labor it costs you. If not paid then you can maybe put a lien on his property.
Thank you for the advice. I had not thought about charging for labor or putting a lien on the property. That could definitely be a way to handle it if things do not get resolved. I will keep that in mind if it comes to that.
The Sheriff served the papers. Now comes a game where the other guy doesn't respond. Regardless of what the cops do. Now you wait, have to file a lawsuit and spend thousands of dollars to get his fence moved Possession is 9 tenths of the law.... and he is in possession. He can, and may well take years to respond. Don't be nice, and don't play. You are dealing with a real estate theif.
I also like to add, they have went through the proper channels to report the fence line & dogs amongst other things. If they should come across any imposters on their land from this day forward, they are in their rights to remove the threat. If it was the other way around, it would be a different outcome/result.
After being served to appear the defendant has to appear or forfeit his position and hopefully if that happens the Judge will rule forfeit "with prejudice"..meaning the defendant won't be able to come back to this court nor another court or Judge and revisit this in the future.
@@smokenhaze-w5r I like that solution…let’s hope THAT happens, less time, negative energy and peace of mind. Seeing how “they” think that they’re above the law…privileged and “may” not show up.
Hey guys I’m glad that the sheriff department has contacted them, but don’t get too comfortable depending on that. Please continue to stay informed on each step that’s happening and continue pushing to keep your land. So happy to see you and your dad having fun and enjoying your day. Many Blessings to you both.
Thank you for the reminder and the support. We will definitely stay on top of everything and keep pushing to protect our land. Your encouragement means a lot, and we will keep working through the steps. It has been great to have some fun along the way, but we are staying focused on the bigger picture. Many blessings to you as well. ❤️❤️❤️
It is amazing how some people can just disregard others’ property like that. It is a shame that kind of behavior still happens, but unfortunately, some people never seem to learn. Hopefully, your neighbor was able to get things sorted out without too much hassle.
People can be so wicked & cruel. Always poking their nose into other people affairs. You & your dad aren’t bothering no one. Them folks have a serious jealousy demon in their heart. I will continue to keep y’all in prayer. Keep your head up from whence cometh your help, because we know all comes from The Most High. I ❤ your work ethic & you have such beautiful land.
Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. Dad and I appreciate your support. It is comforting to know that there are people out there who understand our struggle and seek to encourage us along our journey. ❤️❤️❤️
You may want to get cans of bear spray for the dogs. It sprays futher than pepper spray so you don't have to be as close to them when you us it, which can hopefully give you more time to get to a safe place or to use more life preserving methods. Ya'll should have code names when using the walkie-talkies to keep them guessing lol. I'm glad you got the vests. I worried about you walking back in the woods with all those crazies around you. Alot of those dogs were most likely dumped sad to say and that makes them desperate and dangerous. Keep your heads on a swivel!! Stay safe and God bless.
Thank you so much for your advice and concern. The bear spray is a smart idea. It could definitely give us more time and distance. I love the idea of code names too! Keeping things unpredictable is always a good strategy. We will definitely stay alert and continue taking precautions, especially with those dogs being a real threat. I am so grateful for your support and concern. We will stay safe and keep our heads on a swivel, for sure. God bless you too.
I am so happy you got the Sheriffs office involved. Now stay vigilant and watch out for those country dogs. Those dogs can be very dangerous. For those people! Intruders they are not to be trusted! I pray you and your family stay safe and your live stock is stay safe as well! Shalom my sister!🙏🏽
Thank you so much for your support and prayers. I really appreciate it. I will definitely stay vigilant and keep an eye out for those dogs, and I will make sure to take all necessary precautions. Your kind words mean a lot, and I am grateful for your concern. Shalom to you as well, and I pray for your safety and peace too.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I truly feel blessed to have Dad with me, and I cherish every moment we share together. It is definitely priceless.
Watching earlier videos and you and your Dad walk around in the woods made me nervous. I'm, for one, happy to see the vest use! Can't afford any MISS TAKES!
Y'all are my inspiration! I am speaking that my hubby and I will have land by next year where I can start my garden and have me a big 'she" shed on the land! Make sure you and your dad are on the same channel on the walkie talkies and make sure to lock the channel out so no one else can come into your conversation or hear. Good you got the paperwork to that person to settle your fence line.
Thank you so much for the well wishes. We wish you the best in your garden and “she” shed goals. ❤️❤️❤️ Dad and I will make sure to lock out the channels and be careful about what we say on the walkie talkies. We are learning a lot from you all. Thank you.
I had the same issue with a neighbor...he would post on my property and hunt and then tell me I was on his property ... I tried for 2 years to explain that I bought the property and it was mine...he would yell and tell me to prove it...he would get in the tree stand and tell me I couldn't be there...I got a survey done... removed his no trespassing signs...now I wait...@@Tiffanysfarm
Thank you so much for the support. We truly appreciate your support. Dad is definitely the best. ❤️❤️❤️ With his help, I hope to have everything resolved soon. ❤️❤️❤️
Im glad the sherriff's did their job and got your letter served to the owner. Let's hope the matter is sorted soon. Good idea with the vests. Good luck you two♥
Thank you! We are definitely relieved that the sheriff’s office took care of it, and we are hopeful the situation gets resolved quickly. The vests have been a big help for peace of mind, too. Appreciate the support, and we are staying positive. Thank you for the good wishes.
Yes, we wear safety color hoodies and t-shirts on our property too and have walkie talkies also. When you're in the country, you have to be careful, especially during hunting season. Y'all should invest in some great pyrenees dogs about 2 to start they will keep the strays away and people too. They are great farm dogs, and they keep your livestock safe. We had the same problem with stray dogs. Not anymore.
We have 4 total. 2 girls and 2 boys. The girls patrol our sheep, and the boys patrol the goats. They are the best. It's best to get them from breeders who raise them around livestock at birth. That way, they know exactly what their responsibilities are. They are also great with kids, and they will keep them safe.
You have got a good safety setup in place. It is smart to be visible and stay connected with walkie-talkies. I really like the idea of Great Pyrenees dogs. They are excellent protectors and would definitely help with both strays and keeping things safe. Thank you for the advice. We will look into getting a pair. Stay safe out there.
@Tiffanysfarm You're welcome. It's great seeing you in action. Your dad is so AWESOME. Always safety is most important. I live in Alabama, and we are blessed with decent neighbors.
You're right about getting serious about those dogs... they get vicious and bold and will go after anyone, adults, horses, whatever. Watched a horse training video (can't remember if it was CA or NC) where out in the corral while training a horse a pack of dogs were aggressively running up and down the fence line menencing the horse and rider. So, I'm glad to hear of the good moves you're workin!
Unleashed and unsupervised dogs can be dangerously aggressive, especially when they are harassing animals like horses. It is definitely important to stay on top of training and be proactive in managing any situation where they might get too bold. I appreciate the support. It is all about staying ahead of potential problems and making sure everyone stays safe.
You two are such a good team together father and daughter. Congratulations use the law to deal with these people who are ignoring you for taking a piece of your property
Thank you so much. It means a lot to hear that. We will definitely be looking into the legal options to handle the situation. Taking care of things the right way is always the best approach.
You can carry pepper spray with you for any aggressive critters you might come across - 4 legged or otherwise. Some of those dogs get pepper sprayed enough, they might stop coming around because of the negative feedback they get.
@I2AmUS yep! Pepper gel spray is so much better. I guess I forgot to put gel. I've had multiple brain surgeries and forget words sometimes. It's amazing anyone can understand me sometimes 🤣 Thank you for adding that 😊💜
@@vtecmissle wasp spray can get you into trouble for using it like pepper spray 🤷 Those chemicals are much more harmful than peppers and can land you in jail.
@ Maybe but if you use pepper spray and they run through it they get it in their eyes. My example illustrates your point and mine. Years ago I wanted to see if an old can of bear spray still worked so I took it outside near the corner of my house. Sure did work! My dog came around the corner at just the wrong time and the wind changed and I got blowback, too. My dog didn't take a direct hit but ran through it. She immediately started just rubbing her face on the ground and I probably got one particle in the wind and it was horrible. The way I got through it was to keep reminding myself that it wasn't permanent and I'd be able to see again. So, I guess when all is said and done, gel is probably the best but I'm not that keen on having to hit them in/near the eyes for something to be effective.
I purchased a small compact tractor just a little over a year ago to help me with lifting heavy objects and with other gardening well as landscaping needs. I’m sure you and your dad has plans. But you can’t beat some of those offers with different tractor sales. I shared some info with a neighbor last year on the Kioti tractor dealerships. He purchased a package deal and saved a huge amount in discounts. Also the 84 months with 0 cash down 0 percent financing. I’m just wanting you guys to be safe and save your backs along with time.
That is awesome. A compact tractor is a game changer for heavy lifting and yard work. Thank you for the tip about the Kioti dealerships and the financing options. Those kinds of deals can definitely make a big difference. We will definitely keep an eye out for any good offers, and your reminder to save our backs is much appreciated.
I’m glad that you took the time to read my few words of wisdom. If you need further assistance just let me know. If I were nearer to your area I’d stop in to help. I’m more over in the Savannah back to Jacksonville area. But I’m sure several other viewers will be interested in coming out to help, just to be a part of something special. Be encouraged!
Thank you, I truly am blessed to have him. He is always been supportive and knows exactly how to do what makes him happy. It is inspiring. I am really grateful for the relationship we have.
Hello, Tiffany and Dad, how are you both? I love your property. Both of you are hard workers. I know it's going to be beautiful once you've finish building. Please be careful of those vicious dogs. You both should walk with serious protection for those dogs, and any other wild animals you may come across. Pepper spray may not suffice! Notify the Sheriff. Be safe, thanks for taking us on your farming journey. 🍇🍒🍓🍋🍉🍑🍅🌽

I am glad that law enforcement handled the situation effectively. It is reassuring when the proper authorities step in and ensure things are dealt with fairly.
Great point. The orange vests would definitely help with visibility and make it easier to spot each other, especially in areas where it is harder to see.

Yes. The loose dogs are an epidemic out here. Animal control is highly aware of the situation. Glad you noticed the fence progress though. It is definitely a step in the right direction.
First of all, I'm praying for you and your father to be safe from humans and dogs alike. Both are scary situations. Seondly, I think your father is amazing and you both inspire this City Girl with a Counrty Girl's heart. New subbie.
Thank you so much for your prayers and kind words. They really mean a lot to both Dad and me. It is definitely a mix of challenges with both humans and dogs, so having support like yours is so comforting. I am truly honored to inspire someone as kind as you, especially with your City Girl with a County Girl’s heart perspective! It means the world to know we have connected in that way. Thank you for subscribing and for your support. ❤️❤️❤️
Haha, I know exactly what you mean. Country dogs definitely have their own way of doing things. It is like they think they own the road. I blame the irresponsible dog owners for not properly training them and keeping them safe.
Thank you for your concern. I understand your worry about the large dogs. Safety is always a top priority, and we will make sure to stay vigilant and take the necessary precautions. I appreciate your best wishes all the way from the UK. Sending my best to you as well from Georgia, USA 🇺🇸.
Thank you so much for your support, Classmate. It really means a lot, especially during times when things get challenging. I am glad to have some backup from the Sheriff's office as well, and your encouragement gives me even more strength to keep pushing forward. It would be great to meet up when you come down just let me know when you are in the area. Appreciate you!!! ❤️❤️❤️
No. We do not own any dogs yet. Dad and I are still resolving the issues with the fence. But, there are dogs loose unsupervised everywhere especially penetrating the perimeter of our fence. It is like an epidemic out here.
@ I probably like most dogs more than most people. But irresponsible owners who let powerful dogs run loose like that are a menace. They endanger not only people & wildlife, but their own dogs. If you don’t like the idea of carrying (or can’t) there are less lethal options. My SIL bought one that sh00ts pellets off Amazon. It was pricey but wold likely stop even a powerful dog like those without ending it. Oh! Now your video is getting to the loose dogs! They can actually end YOU! Lots of that in the news around the country lately!
Those dogs are a threat to one's safety. I thought they were yours as well. Are there any rules for loose running dogs? You are blessed with a great dad.
Y'all are so cute working together. Your dad loves helping you. You have given him purpose and he is enjoying it. Y'all stay safe. I am happy to follow your journey.
It really means a lot to read this comment, thank you for the kind words. Dad and I appreciate your support, and we are so glad you're enjoying our journey. ❤️❤️❤️
I feel like I’m watching a Master Class in patience and grace regarding your long ordeal with the non responsive neighbor. Yay for the sheriff being able to serve the information to the neighbor! I hope this is the beginning of moving forward with your fence construction. The 🦺s and Walky Talkies are smart. Wishing you (Tiffany and Dad) a peaceful, safe, and healthy 2025. Is it awful to suggest air horns for those pesky loose dogs ?🤨
Landscape companies purchase big rocks. But, I am in Florida. We're aware of vest, too. We use when in wooded areas. I am glad you mentioned walkie talkie. They come with ear buds now. Love your channel ❤
Thank you for the kind words. It is great to read how you are using the vest and walkie talkie setup in Florida. It is smart gear for staying connected in wooded areas. And yes, the earbud feature makes a huge difference for hands-free communication. I am glad you enjoy the channel, and I appreciate you commenting.
I’ve watched you and your wonderful Dad. As I watched today, I thought about my dad(I’m a daddy’s girl too). He died on this day in 1986….he would be doing the exact same thing as your dad. Good luck to you and Dad on this awesome journey. May The Most High protect you.❤❤❤❤
It is always heartwarming to read how others relate to our father-daughter bond. ❤️❤️❤️ I hope you find peace in remembering your Dad. I can tell he was a great man.
Thank you so much for the kind words. It means a lot to read your support. We appreciate the encouragement. It is good to know we are inspiring others.
Beautiful I knew justice would be served eventually! I prayed for this day! 🙏🏿 I'm so happy you now shape your fence properly and make the alignment you desire without interference. 🎉 Brick by brick it's all looking great. Also congrats on the expansion of the green area because I saw where you put extra care on your food growth and organic systems so I know you are going to be head over heels when you are done because the view will be so awesome. Shout out to pops for his formula on boulder breaking that is crucial information for properties that need that work done and looking for affordable ways to manage it. Those radios are going to be a gang of fun both of y'all 😂 I'm so happy to watch y'all bond it's so deep 😊❤🌹👑.
Wow, thank you so much for the kind words. It feels amazing to finally see everything coming together after all that hard work and patience. Dad and I cannot wait for the whole project to be finished and to enjoy that view with the garden and everything else. Dad’s formula for breaking boulders really was a game changer because it is so cost effective. And the radios? They are going to make the work so much more fun, for sure! I really appreciate you sharing in the excitement and the journey with us. It has been such a rewarding experience, and it is only getting better from here. ❤️❤️❤️
In the county I live in here in North Ga, Bartow county, you can legally give any animal that is a threat to you, your family or your property! Trust me I had to give the new neighbors dog lead poisoning, I’d didn’t want to but it was either me or him and he lost. This dog had me cornered in my garden one afternoon and luckily I had a piece of rebar near by and I was able to run it off, that’s when I called the cops and asked them if I dispose of it would I be in any legal trouble and he said not one bit. Well my next trip out to my garden I took two friends with me, Mr Smith & Mr Wesson and sure enough that dog did the same thing trying to sneak up on me and I wasn’t the only one that it was happening to. So I didn’t hear a peep out of the neighbors when all said and done.
Thank you for sharing your story, we appreciate your support and encouragement. We agree with you and understand that everyone has a right to protect themselves and their property.
Human life is infinitely more valuable than animal life. You should not have to take chances with your life to avoid hurting an animal. It is not cruel to protect yourself. What is cruel is to let a dog loose where it will likely be killed or injured from traffic, coyotes, ticks, etc.
I'm so glad to find your channel again. My husband and I were wondering how things were going. A Big thank you for your video on Trusts. We are in the middle of getting ours done. God Bless you as you prosper!
Sorry that your situation has drug along far too long ! In Ga, you have the right to defend your property from dogs. Take care of them, make sure they do NOT leave your property and never say anything, never !! Went thru that situation over 30 years ago. Over the years, have talked to several sheriffs, bunch of deputies, head county commissioner and all advice off the record....take care of the situation. Just on Grand Jury again and asked same thing. You have the right to defend yourself ! Someone build fence on my property, it gets taken down. Oh, was there a fence there......
Thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate the advice and will definitely take it into consideration. Definitely do not want any more issues going forward.
Great to see you are working on your dream. As for soil erosion, contact the Natural Resources Conservation Service as they'll provide not only plans to prevent erosion that you can use to get bids but also provide grants. Good luck!
I'm talking to myself when I say this, but: We have to stop trying to do everything on an island alone (while _the others_ are always lurking and squirming).
I understand you. It is real tough when it feels like the weight of everything is on your shoulders, especially when there is this sense that others are not carrying that same load or worse, they are enemies watching from the sidelines and waiting to destroy. There is definitely power in community, and sometimes, it is about finding ways to lean on each other rather than shouldering it all solo. I was solo for a while but now Dad is here and I am certain that other reliable people will come along too but in the meantime Dad and I are not waiting on anyone to join our party. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for the encouragement. Your support means so much. Thank you for being part of our journey. It is great to have you along for the ride. ❤️❤️❤️
That is a smart suggestion. An orange hat or beanie would definitely help with visibility, especially in winter when it is harder to stand out. I will keep that in mind. Thank you for the tip!
I am really proud of you. I haven't watched in a long time and I remember that the other folks were harassing you. I'm sorry that it has been such a long saga. You remind me of that "We will not be moved" song. You really just can't let people mess with you. I live in the country too and sometimes people have a hard time accepting boundaries. Your neighbors look like fools and you guys are coming across golden. I know about dogs running. Neighbor dogs savaged another neighbor's goats, and of course denied it. What is the most impressive about you is that you still have your good natures and are just proceeding.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It really means a lot to me, especially when things have been tough. It has been a long road, but like the song says, I’m determined to stand my ground. I totally get what you mean about boundaries but people sometimes forget or just do not respect them, and it can be exhausting to deal with. It is encouraging to read that you see the bigger picture, though. I try to keep my focus on staying true to myself and not letting the negativity wear me down. I am sorry to hear about the neighbor dogs and the trouble they have caused. It is always hard when others do not take responsibility for their actions. Thank you again for your support. It is really uplifting to know that others understand and see the positive side of things.
@@Tiffanysfarm It shows a lot about you that you would take the time to write this to me. You and your dad are shining examples of perserverance in the face of challenge. You are inspirational.
Most hammer drills have a hammer only mode. Insert a chisel point while in hammer only. It can save a lot of manual labor. That drill looks a bit small for the job. Consider getting a heavier duty one that uses SDS or SDS plus bits. The right tool for the job makes short work of it.
Great advice, thank you. I will definitely try the hammer only mode with a chisel point to save some effort. You are right, the drill does seem a bit small for the task, so I will look into upgrading to one that uses SDS or SDS Plus bits. Having the right tool will definitely make things easier. Appreciate the tip.
Hi Tiffany, I'm a georgia girl born an raised. I wanted to give u a lit tid bit of info . The walkie talkies, u can change ur channel on it anytime. If u hear more traffic on a channel than change yours. Try to remember which channel had the least or none an use that one. Most used are usually 1,2, or 3. Also beings there may be some dummy's that may have ill will intents, don't use ur real names. Come up with a handle for urself an dad . An switch them up or change them every other day or so. Keep a log an every morning possibly just tell him who yall are for that day. Also dont exactly say where u are on the property. There are people who have nothing to do but sit an listen to others on walkie talkies or baby monitors. They use same frequency alot an could get heard from u an them. Don't get complacent an always be aware of ur surroundings. Mostly enjoy urself on ur farm. But trust no one. I lived on 40 acres from age 18 to 42 with my husband . My husband traveled I was alone a lot there and had several instances to where my property was breached and I had to protect my property an home. I had to run some people off a couple of times but I was always carrying my weapon you just don't never let anyone walk all over you and stand your ground that is your place and you have every right to protect it and yourself. Air horns an firecrackers will scare a dog away. Hopefully. It worked for me. Happy farming an be safe.
Thank you so very much for the advice. ❤️❤️❤️ I will definitely be more cautious and stay vigilant. I appreciate the advice on using walkie-talkies and staying safe. It is so good to read your experiences and how you handled similar situations. ❤️❤️❤️
About the perimeter of your property and people being able to see your boundary, could you attach reflectors to your trees at eye level or a little higher
Reflectors could help make the boundary more visible, especially in low light or at night. Attaching them to the trees at eye level or slightly higher would make it easier for people to spot the perimeter without being intrusive. I will definitely look into how to do that effectively. Thank you for the suggestion.
Great ideas. Safety first glad you got the vest . You go Dad🥰🙏🏽enjoy him my dad is no longer here with me . Thank you to the sheriff serving that notice. Continued blessing.
Thank you for the kind words and for sharing that with me. I truly cherish the time I have with Dad, and I am doing my best to make the most of it. We are grateful for the sheriff office’s help, and we appreciate the continued blessings and support. Wishing you peace and strength as well.
Just a thought regarding the dogs - are there any animal rescues in the area that would come and get the dogs? I'm so glad you have each other. One of my fears buying property since I'm single, but I'll work it out.
It is a good idea to check with animal rescues and local authorities to see what options are available. We have not contacted any animal rescues but we did call animal control several times. Thank you for the kind words. It is definitely a challenge to go through things on your own.
P.s. where i live if the dog comes on your property you have the right to defend your property. So maybe you need to carry. To defend yourselves in case. Check your county laws. The sheriff will know what they are .
It is definitely unsettling. It is sad when people do not respect boundaries. I hope things stay safe and calm, and that the situation resolves without any more issues. We are staying vigilant, and taking care of ourselves.
You are blessed with a great dad who wants to help you. Those dogs are a threat to ones safety. They looked like pit bulls who can cause serious harm. Are there any laws for roaming dogs in your area?
Thank you for your concern. Yes, I am grateful for Dad’s support. As for the dogs, I agree that they could pose a real threat, especially if they are pit bulls. I am not sure about specific laws in our area regarding roaming dogs, but I will look into it to see if there is any action we can take to prevent any potential danger.
Thank you for the compliment. Dad is definitely looking good for his age. Dad is 72 years old but he has the energy of a 20-year-old. I am so grateful for his help. ❤️❤️❤️
Those walkie-talkies are an excellent idea. Careful with those dogs. If they approach you on your property, notify the sheriff and delete the dog's if you have to. They are just going to keep coming back. Who knows. They're probably doing it on purpose. Keep that protection with you at all times. As I watch you, I'm learning because I'm interested in building something like yours. I have been for a long time. I live in Maryland near Washington, D.C., so I'll have to move farther away from D.C. to find the land I want. Wishing you well with your projects.
@LANEZZ-jv5ok-Hi, I'm in the DMV and have the same prayer and plan. I want 100 acres and no neighbors!!☺ I hope you get what you want. @LivingEmpoweredToday-those areas are quickly being bought up and La Plata scares me because of the past tornado, although it's been many years 😅 Virginia is a HUGE no nowadays!! @naturalnikki8675-hadn't thought of that area, but I want to stay as close to my mother as possible, so it's a wee bit too far, but thankful for the knowledge. You all take care and stay safe in this crazy world.
Thank you for the advice. I will definitely be cautious with the dogs and take the necessary steps to protect my property. You have some great plans of your own, and I can understand why you would want to get out of the D.C. area to find the right land. Best of luck with your journey.
We will use our mobile phones for emergencies that require outside assistance but we use the walkie talkies for communication with each other on the property.
I will definitely check out the instructions or look it up on UA-cam to change the channel. That will help keep things clear and separate from the neighbors. Appreciate the help. ❤️❤️❤️
That's what the sheriff said, but is that what actually happened? In some areas the problem people are related to law enforcement officials, so sheriff Billy Bob could be the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd cousin of the problem folks, in-laws, step-folk, or maybe even members of the local VFW outfit. In other word's, never let your guard down because of a letter. Verify, then trust (with cautious optimism). Lastly, ALWAYS take your property concerns to the state level, never leave it to local officials. The local authorities will often drag their feet unless the agency that they answer to is also made aware of your situation. Each state aught to have a state level department that handles property disputes, go to your state web site, find that agency, and submit an official complaint (with a copy of that letter) to that state agency. Always print verification number or document of submission (easy since all state agencies should be have automated means of submitting forms).
You raise some valid points, especially about the potential connections between local officials and the individuals causing problems. It is always wise to stay cautious and take a proactive approach when dealing with property disputes. State-level agencies often have more authority and resources to investigate matters thoroughly, so you are right to suggest taking concerns to them directly. Verifying all information, keeping documentation, and following up is so important especially when local authorities might be less motivated to act. Staying informed and persistent is the key.
Sorry I been missing your videos but I moved and been unpacking . I thought this would be over with . New Year I thought it would be better . I’m so happy it’s finally getting taken seriously. The property is looking great !
We appreciate your support and hope you are settling into your new place. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for your encouragement and understanding throughout this journey. We are happy to read from you. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Tiff for ur very informative videos on one of ur previous videos I asked u for some of your expertise on keeping worms and bugs from eating zucchini squash and they even ate the cucumber vines melons everything that was a vine how to keep them from eating my collar greens as well. I have a very small backyard garden space. I apologize bc you did respond to me in the comment section but I was waiting to study it and now I’m unable to find it. Thank you so much. Here is a copy and paste from my reply to your last comment: I am sorry to read about the struggles you have had with worms. It can be really frustrating. For organic kale, collard greens, and zucchini, I have found a few methods that can help keep them at bay: Neem Oil: Spraying neem oil on the plants can help deter pests without harming the plants or beneficial insects. It acts as a natural pesticide and repellent for many bugs. Diatomaceous Earth: Sprinkle diatomaceous earth around the base of your plants. It is harmless to humans and pets but effective against pests like worms, as it dries out their exoskeletons. Row Covers: These lightweight, breathable fabric covers create a physical barrier between the pests and your plants, while still allowing sunlight and rain through. Companion Planting: Certain plants, like garlic, onions, and marigolds, can help deter pests when planted near your greens. Handpicking: If the infestation is small, regularly checking your plants and removing any visible worms or larvae can make a big difference. You can even make it a routine when you water. Beneficial Insects: Introducing beneficial insects like ladybugs or predatory wasps can help control pest populations naturally. I hope these tips help! Sometimes a combination of methods works best, especially in a smaller garden where pests can quickly become a problem. Keep at it, and do not get discouraged.
Thank you so much. My relationship with Dad means the world to me, and it has been such a blessing to work together on this property. We really appreciate your kind words and prayers. May God bless you as well in all that you do. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi there, I'm based in the UK and have just stumbled onto your channel, and I'm so glad I did. You have such a lovely property and lifestyle, but most of all, I love your growth, resilience, tenacity, and love & treasure for each....well done 👏👏👏👏💚 I've read the advice everyone is sharing with you, and I'm glad to see you're taking it all on board. How about purchasing yourselves a kit of tool belts and waistcoats so in emergencies you have everything at the ready 🛠🪓🪚sprays, radios etc etc. And I'm just thinking out of the box here, you might want to talk to a specialised dog trainer so you can utilise the every growing pack of dogs to your advantage.....on another note you also might want to contact the Civil Rights Lawyer that is based in West Virginia, you'll find him here on UA-cam. Good luck with everything 💪🤝👏🦋
Wow, thank you so much. That really means a lot to hear, especially from someone across the pond. We have definitely put a lot of heart into what we do here, and it is so nice to know it is bringing joy to others. Appreciate the kind words and support. It keeps us motivated to keep growing and sharing our journey. ❤️❤️❤️
Who cares what people think. You don’t have to explain anything to anyone. They’re just jealous they don’t have a Father/Dad involved in their lives. May GOD continue to cover you and land. Blessings 🙏🏽
Thank you for the encouragement. I truly appreciate your kind words. It is all about staying true to what matters most, and I am grateful for the support. May God continue to bless you as well.
These types of comments are coming from people of different races and ages and sadly some of our community is participating in the same rhetoric. It try to ignore them because I know that the comments are rooted in envy.
When I carried a radio and wore a vest, I used that little black strip on the chest and clipped my radio to it so it wouldn't fall out of a pocket and you should be able to use it without unclipping it even. You and your dad are too cool, glad I stumbled on you :)
I think it is a shame that people are not grateful for such good people as y’all next door. I have great neighbors but would love having y’all on the other side or front of me. GOD BLESS YALL STAY SAFE ❤️🙏👩🏻🦳I did a no till garden for purple hill peas I got a bushel out of a 4x8 garden. I was shocked !!
Thank you so much for the kind words. It is great to read about your no-till garden success. Purple hill peas in a 4x8 space is impressive. The method really paid off! Wishing you continued blessings and safety as well. Keep up the awesome gardening. ❤️❤️❤️

I had a neighbor put culverts French drains and a fence down a property line and my attorney and the developer helped me to get much of the larger culverts moved and I immediately put a fence up. He has been ugly most of the 25 years we have been here but he quiets down when i remind him that i can make him move his house because it is too close to the property line. Funny how they tried to put that fence in the wrong place and steal my land to make it seem like they weren’t to close to the property line😅TIFF i have a battery powered cattle prod for those marasmic looking dogs. It can be put right out of the window for a nice little zap. Only need to touch them a couple of times after that just the sound or sight will be enough to make them go away.
You have really had your hands full with that neighbor over the years! I can definitely understand the frustration. It is good to know there are ways to handle those situations, whether through legal channels or more direct methods. I will keep that cattle prod idea in mind. Sometimes it is the simple solutions that work best. Appreciate you sharing your story! ❤️❤️❤️
When I first started watching this video today and you said your father was breaking up rocks and then you say you were going to walk back there and show us first thing I said to myself as she need to keep an eye on him when he's doing stuff like that. But I kept on watching the video and when I heard you say that you got the walkie talkies that made me feel so much better to know that you can check on him when you're not close by him. You are such a beautiful daughter and you and your father together are a great team I am definitely going to be praying for you guys that everything started going well for you because you both deserve it just saying.🙏🏽❤❤❤
I completely agree, I definitely need to keep an eye on Dad when he is working on things like that, and the walkie talkies have been such a relief. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can check in with him, especially when he is doing something physical like breaking up rocks. We do make a good team, and I am grateful for his support and everything he has taught me over the years. Your prayers and kind words mean so much, and I truly appreciate the positivity you are sending our way. It is people like you that help keep us going, so thank you again.
Thank you so much. We are doing well, just taking things one step at a time. Really appreciate your kind words, and I am excited to get the animals soon. Dad and I will definitely stay careful. Thank you for looking out for us.
Instead of being careful about what you say, take those walks talkies back to Walmart and get you some that are not generic, meaning that everyone has the same phone number/code.
I see what you are saying. Having a more secure or private channel can definitely help with communication. But, even with better walkie-talkies, it is still good to be mindful of what is being said, especially if it is a shared or open channel. Plus, the walkie talkies are for emergency situations.
Very good idea where you this and also too you could do raise gardens if you had a material to do? Safety first guys keep eye on your dad. Make sure he does not overwork himself.
Thank you for the suggestion. Raised gardens would be a great addition if we have the right materials. And you are absolutely right. Safety is key, so I will definitely keep an eye on my dad and make sure he does not overdo it. Appreciate the concern.
I saw you got some new radios-awesome! I wanted to share another option you might like: Baofeng two-way radios. A friend of mine who runs a security company highly recommended them. Unlike some radios that have cross-talk issues, these Baofeng radios let you create your own dedicated channels for clear and interference-free communication. They also offer a strong signal for reliable connections and the ability to reach emergency personnel when needed. Plus, they’re super durable and easy to use. Just thought it might be a great additional option for you and your dad.
Thank you for the tip. We are always looking for ways to improve our communication. Dad and I are definitely staying vigilant, and we will look into the radios you recommend.
Enjoy watching you all going about your farm. Yes go through the right channels and process. As far as the loose dogs wild or not always be prepared to protect yourselves when they’re on your property. Also watch out for them 2 legged animals walking around in those woods tooo. Listen to the birds and other wildlife because they can be your first line of awareness. They put out sounds of danger lurking around. Now go and enjoy the fruits of your labor!
Thank you so much for the advice and encouragement. I really appreciate your kind words and support. I agree it is always good to be prepared and aware of our surroundings. I also agree with you about listening to the birds and wildlife because they are excellent warning systems.
Couldn’t hurt to get a scanner for to be aware of emergencies accidents and also maybe a CB radio base station and a mobile CB in your car and or truck to be able to communicate with each other while away from each other and can also communicate with police and emergency agencies ☝🏾
I have been thinking about getting a scanner or downloading the scanner app. I am sure that would help us stay more aware of what is going on in the area.
That is a great idea, we have the materials for the electric fence install and we are looking into it. Safety is always a priority, we are thinking about all the options.
It was the end clips for me all those darn dogs what ITW 😮😮🙅🏾♀️🙅🏾♀️🙅🏾♀️
Dogs upon dogs upon dogs. There are dogs loose everywhere. It is like an epidemic out here. We constantly have both children and contractors coming on the property. Most of the dogs do not have collars so we do not know if they are wild or what. Luckily, the county has hired a new animal control director to help alleviate the problem.
@Tiffanysfarm wow I see why you'd have to secure the premises 🙅🏾♀️👌🏾 geez.... You and pops got this though 😎🫶🏾💕🫶🏾💕
@@athomewithsareeta ikr?! So many loose dogs! Most look pretty well fed too. Owners should be ashamed.
BIRD SPIKES. Sold on Amazon. Keeps deer; raccons; snakes, ect from coming onto property. May keep the dogs from crawling under fencing. Worth a try to put these around entire parameter of property. 😊
I went through this multiple times times when I went searching for properties.
Praying that these issues with your neighbors cease! Stay safe and stay strapped...
Thank you. We are hopeful that things are starting to turn around. We appreciate the prayers and will continue to be vigilant.
I just think in this day and age it’s outrageous you have to protect yourself on your own property. You’re doing a Great job

That's a great idea....👌🏽👍🏽
....and come up with code words.
I'm glad to see the vests! You never know what someone is up to in the woods. Even your own property, people don't care about property lines when they are already breaking the law.
Be safe 😊💜
Thank you for your kind words and concern. We appreciate the support. Yes, it is important to be prepared for anything, especially on our property.
White people don't care. Let's be very clear.

It's a crying shame that folks can't just live and live in peace!!!

@ so right, didn’t proof read after using voice to text.
The Sheriff served the papers. Now comes a game where the other guy doesn't respond. Regardless of what the cops do. Now you wait, have to file a lawsuit and spend thousands of dollars to get his fence moved
Possession is 9 tenths of the law.... and he is in possession.
That is a lie. Possession is not law... never has been law.

One of my neighbors had trouble with a woman moving his property post and putting the post in new locations....stupidity never ends.

Yes, Dad and I had 2 professional surveys. The surveys are recorded with the county.

@@jenniferf.bradley6006 I know a homesteader who uses those dogs too. Great Farm dogs.

You can carry pepper spray with you for any aggressive critters you might come across - 4 legged or otherwise. Some of those dogs get pepper sprayed enough, they might stop coming around because of the negative feedback they get.
Use pepper gel, so that you don't get the pepper spray blowback
@I2AmUS yep! Pepper gel spray is so much better. I guess I forgot to put gel. I've had multiple brain surgeries and forget words sometimes. It's amazing anyone can understand me sometimes 🤣

@@departmentofredundancydept4121 i like wasp spray cheap and way more effective, and smith and wesson
I am glad that law enforcement handled the situation effectively. It is reassuring when the proper authorities step in and ensure things are dealt with fairly.
I'm so happy for you and your father Tiffany. Keeping you in my prayers 🙏🏽
Thank you so much! Your prayers mean a lot to us, and we really appreciate your support during this time.
You can also locate each other quickly with the vests.
Great point. The orange vests would definitely help with visibility and make it easier to spot each other, especially in areas where it is harder to see.
I don’t know how your channel popped up on my algorithm but I am glad it did. Just binged four of your videos. What is your vision for your land? What can people do to support your mission if that’s your aim? I would love to send a periodic contribution to support your father and yourself. Blessings, protection and good fortune to both of you. 🙏🏾
Thank you so much for your kind words and support. I am truly grateful that my channel showed up in your algorithm. It means a lot to know that you are connecting with the content.
As for my vision for the land, it is all about sustainability, stewardship, and creating a space where we can live in harmony with nature. The goal is to create a model of self-sufficiency and resilience. Hopefully, Dad and I will inspire others to reconnect with the earth and create positive change in their own communities.
People can support our mission in a few different ways, whether it is through spreading the word, sharing the content, or even offering financial contributions. It helps us keep moving forward with our work and building the foundation for future generations. I truly appreciate the offer to send a periodic contribution, and if you feel called to do so, you can find ways to support via Join this channel:

Too many dogs! Glad to see action being taken on the fence
@@Tiffanysfarm Thank you for the kind response and happy Dr. King Day, live the dream!!☺

I can never get used to dogs running in front of cars. Country dogs are a special breed!
Haha, I know exactly what you mean. Country dogs definitely have their own way of doing things. It is like they think they own the road. I blame the irresponsible dog owners for not properly training them and keeping them safe.
Those loose dogs are very worrying, they look very large. Keep safe sweethearts Best wishes from England UK 🇬🇧
Thank you for your concern. I understand your worry about the large dogs. Safety is always a top priority, and we will make sure to stay vigilant and take the necessary precautions. I appreciate your best wishes all the way from the UK. Sending my best to you as well from Georgia, USA 🇺🇸.
I am glad you got some support from the Sherriff office.Stay strong, I am coming down before I leave the area.
You are allowed to trap on your own property. If stray dogs accidentally end up in a trap, their owners should have them under control
You two make a great team!
Thank you. Dad and I are working hard to build our dream. ❤️❤️❤️
I know you are being cautious about those dogs. I thought they were yours at first. Stay safe!
@@Tiffanysfarm I hate how most people just think their animals or kids can go anywhere besides their own property
Those dogs are a threat to one's safety. I thought they were yours as well. Are there any rules for loose running dogs?
You are blessed with a great dad.
@@Tiffanysfarm just be careful with them and don't hurt them.

Yes, it has been a long process but we are very glad the sheriff's office is now helping us move forward.

Thank you for your support, I am so glad our videos are helpful to you. It is wonderful to read you are working on your Trust. Best of luck.
Good luck!
NRCS has visited us a few times. We are definitely working with them on the issue.
I'm talking to myself when I say this, but:
We have to stop trying to do everything on an island alone (while _the others_ are always lurking and squirming).
Keep taking steps towards your goals no matter how small. You have a huge cheering section right here.

Thank you for the encouragement. Your support means so much. Thank you for being part of our journey. It is great to have you along for the ride. ❤️❤️❤️
It also wouldn’t hurt to have a orange hat or a orange beanie hat doing the winter too
That is a smart suggestion. An orange hat or beanie would definitely help with visibility, especially in winter when it is harder to stand out. I will keep that in mind. Thank you for the tip!
A dad can do whatever he wants for his daughter! Shout out to the Dads!
Exactly ❤️❤️❤️
As far making people aware of what’s your property, you could put reflectors on the trees to mark your property line along with a NO TRESPASSING sign
We have 13 signs posted. We will definitely look into the reflectors for additional security.
Be safe, you guys. I have never seen anyone disrespect others in this way on their own property.
P.s. where i live if the dog comes on your property you have the right to defend your property.
Good work pushing back and using Sheriff service of process! Bless you!
Thank you! God bless you too. ❤️❤️❤️
Get yourself 2-3 German shepherd’s
Or some Anatolians, but they would definitely require good fencing as they like to wander.
You are blessed with a great dad who wants to help you. Those dogs are a threat to ones safety. They looked like pit bulls who can cause serious harm. Are there any laws for roaming dogs in your area?
Yeah. It's a. 3. Letter. Word. Start. With a g- - lol😮
What's up dad! that's cute. I can't believe your dad is 72! he looks every bit of 55.

Cell phones don’t always work in ‘Amish territory’ but if they work in your area, being able to dial 911 would be wonderful, in an emergency.
We will use our mobile phones for emergencies that require outside assistance but we use the walkie talkies for communication with each other on the property.
You are able to change channels on most walkie talkies. UA-cam that model pr read instructions to have a different channel than your neighbors
I will definitely check out the instructions or look it up on UA-cam to change the channel. That will help keep things clear and separate from the neighbors. Appreciate the help. ❤️❤️❤️
You did your due diligence, now rip that fence out and get your fencing up!
Time to take action and get that fence up. No more waiting around.

I am sorry to read about the struggles you have had with worms. It can be really frustrating. For organic kale, collard greens, and zucchini, I have found a few methods that can help keep them at bay:
Neem Oil: Spraying neem oil on the plants can help deter pests without harming the plants or beneficial insects.

I'm glad dad is getting used to the tech stuff .
Dad is a great man. He is definitely not resistant to trying something new.
So glad to see you and your Dad are doing fine please please be careful and the land is looking great will have your animals soon
Thank you so much. We are doing well, just taking things one step at a time. Really appreciate your kind words, and I am excited to get the animals soon. Dad and I will definitely stay careful. Thank you for looking out for us.
You have to say, "Roger, over, or copy" to know that you're done talking, and then the person know they can respond.
Got it! I will keep that in mind. Roger, over.
Praying for you and your dad, be careful!❤️
Thank you so much for the prayers and the well wishes. We appreciate it. ❤️❤️❤️

You’re doing an excellent job and I’m sure you’re going to have an outstanding farm when you’re done..
Thank you for the encouragement. Dad and I appreciate your support. ❤️❤️❤️ We are working hard and we will continue to keep you updated. ❤️❤️❤️
You, your home-land,& your family IS Blessed & Protected❤
Thank you so much for the kind words and blessings. I truly appreciate it.
don't forget to electrify your boundary fencing so you can provide additional safety measures for your animals from those loose dogs.
That is a great idea, we have the materials for the electric fence install and we are looking into it. Safety is always a priority, we are thinking about all the options.
I was thinking that, too.
