Stealth Wealth Style is this year's hot topic on social. Are you inspired by this trend or think it's a world out of reach?
Natural fibers, cotton, linen, cashmere, leather all represent good taste. Remember less is more and buy the very best you can afford.
@@mikki3961 great advice as always! Thank you for sharing this, have a wonderful day! 😘
I love this trend however finding natural materials is a challenge. I’m willing to pay for quality but I’m not willing to spend $$$ on polyester. Maybe a video on brands who produce natural material garments at various price points would appeal to a lot of us? Love your channel 😊
Yes, you make a good point. Natural materials are the focal point of quality brands. Will keep that in mind for future videos. Thank you for sharing this 😘
Hear,hear. I agree. Gloria
That's what I like about online "thrift" shops on Etsy. I have a few favourites that I know do all the preselection for me. They only sell natural materials, they do the measurement right so it always fits like a glove, and they still offer a good price as it is second hand.
The looks are amazing!
It appears I'm a stealth wealth thrifter. I developed an eye for selecting the premium made non screaming pieces in thrift stores. It does not cost an arm and a leg, but you can find top quality there. Key to succes: go often, always take a tape-measure and always take a loupe to read tags (or a phone with decent macro shots). I have a shortlist of allowed materials: cotton, linen, hemp, viscose/rayon, wool. So with that in mind, you can cut out 80% of what is in (thrift) store, but you will develop a 7th sense to recognise it before you pick it from the rack. That's right: lycra doesn't come in either: it is a rampage for good fit. I do allow a bit of poly in some occassions: swimwear is exclusively 100% polyester (hard to find, but worth it), and some wool items have a bit of polyester for structuring, like wool pants or jackets.
