So in one of the newest chapters, Bakugou wakes up two days after the war. He was impaled in his attempt to protect deku from All for One, and is now on the road to recovery.
The first thing he does when he wakes up is bust out of his hospital room to try and reach Deku. His classmates try to hold him back, but they're unsuccessful as he's too desperate and struggling too much to be stopped. Towards the end of the page, he says (referring to Deku) "he's dead meat if he thinks he can die on me."
