Liking your history lessons, and the gold. I found my first specie, and wanting to know to clean it up. Looks like its on Iron Stone, and weather Hydrochloric acid would be the go? I await your knowledge.

Hi Paul, thanks for your kind comments. Try using vinegar or Alibright first. Then if it doesn’t clean up enough use Hyrochloric. Well done on finding the specie.

Hey can you tell me are there any good size shaft or mullock heaps in mukleford i was there last weekend and didn't find any one bit of gold was found by another fella that was all. cheers Matthew

Hi Mathew, I have not been very lucky in Muckleford. There are a number of areas with shafts and mullocks. Try to the East of Talbot track near the bottom. Thanks for your comment and for watching.
