Amazing review, I’m really impressed with this guitar and as it is about half the price of the prophecy I’m really considering this one as my dream Leas Paul! Thank you again for the excellent review!!
I just bought the Les Paul Muse in White Metallic. Beautiful looking guitar. I typically play 57 reissues, 58 reissues and Studios with a 59 neck. This neck is much slimmer but I like it because it is rounded (I don’t like the harsh shoulders on Epiphone’s D-shaped necks). The pickups sound great. The coil splitting volumes are very balanced and I love the out of phase setting. I like the Purple Passion you are playing. Regarding your amps, George, the Diezel was much better sounding to me. I am not familiar with Diezels, but I liked the sound. I guess I prefer more mid-range. The Mesa sounded very flabby to me, while the Diezel had more clarity. I know that Mesa’s require the bass settings to be very low, or even off, which I never understood, and I have owned several and read all the manuals. Very much appreciate your reviews!
@@jpeterson213 I havent yet tried the Standard 50s but judging by the specs it has The ProBuckers. I have tried the ProBuckers in a lot of Epiphones and I prefer the Alnico Classic Pro pickups in the Muse.
And the headstock is a part of the series in 2020. A matter of phrasing ;) Thank you, I will look into it in one of the many videos to come about that series.
@@GeorgeVGuitars They called it the Kalamazoo headstock back in the day at Epi. It's just the way you phrased it repeatedly, as if the headstock specifically is inspired by Gibson.
@@andrewbecker3700 Well because the shape was inspired by Gibson even back then in the 1930s. It is made to resemble the open book shape of Gibson guitars. That is the whole point of calling them "Inspired by Gibson". Or you are telling me that Epiphone introduced that shape before Gibson? @@GeorgeVGuitars I'm not trying to tell you anything. Alls I knows is, Epiphone had a headstock called the Kalamazoo, and they've went back to it. If you believe the Gibson headstock is almighty and the origins are steeped in mysticism, then no mere mortal Epiphone headstock could possibly measure up. I have 3 new Epi LP's and think the headstocks look great with keystone tuners. I switched to Gotoh lockers on my silverburst and they look 1000 times better than kidney bean tuning keys.
@@andrewbecker3700 It is named Kalamazoo after the location of the factory back then. Not almighty or anything, just think of it as a bodykit, optics on a car, that wants to resemble the more expensive models like a V6 with an SRT Hellcat bodykit on a Challenger for example. People have always wanted affordable guitars that look like their more expensive counterpart. For example I had a 2013 Epiphone Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom which was an amazing guitar but it would have looked so much better if it had that Kalamazoo headstock that the Inspired by Gibson collection borough back. Thank you for that info, I did't know the headstock was named after the factory. And thank you for watching. I'm gonna call the headstock the proper way from now on and credit you in my next Inspired by Gibson Epi review. ♥️

I am glad I could help. Which colour do you like the most?
@@GeorgeVGuitars I’m leaning towards the Jet Black and the Pearl White, both are colors that I always looking for…
Another great review! :)

Interesting point🤘🏻
Hi man,
I want to buy a guitar
But I am confused with two options
Muse or Standard 50s
Can you suggest which is better?
What kind of neck do you prefer, thin or thick?
@@GeorgeVGuitars I like both kind of necks...
Can you suggest which is better sound wise?

@@GeorgeVGuitarsoh great, thank you for your suggestion man
@@jpeterson213 No problem. Let me know what you got, when you do.
The headstock is an Epiphone original. Inspired by Gibson is the name of the new series in 2019.

It's not a Gibson. Wanna be.
Well it's not priced as Gibson too 👀
