Yeah, Bendy just uses his nightmare form for power, Cuphead cannot control it because he’s still a kid and doesn’t know what he’s even doing sometimes. Sans in the other hand, controls it somehow and keeps it for stuff to come in handy. *for now at least*

I love how when cuphead turns normal again and sees demon tricky, he doesn’t freak out or even show the tiniest bit of surprise, he just goes along with it and fights him like normal. Really goes to show what cuphead does on a daily basis

I loved the care that went into the animation for everyone. It's a strangely coherent blend of Cuphead and Acdelerant. And when it clicked exactly what the initial boss music was, everything just felt that extra bit funner.

Ok, so, I have a theory on this Nightmare thing that may explain the discrepancies in its nature; The Nightmare functions around _Knowledge._ If you _know_ what the Nightmare is and how it works, it’ll grant you control of its power; If you don’t, you grant *_it_* the control. This explains why Nightmare Sans is still his wisecracking jokester self, but Nightmare Cuphead becomes a silent, merciless killer. That seems reasonable, I would say.

Well auditor probably it's still alive. Acording to the madness lore, the auditor's race (the employers) are literal living dimensions which use avatars to do their roles in nevada, so cuphead just parried his avatar. Auditor's probably making another avatar and calling other employers to deal with him.
Honestly I was expecting the typical battle like Bendy and Sans, but this is better, I bet a lot of Cuphead and Madness Combat fans will make a Cuphead style fangame, like you did 😍🤩
Every Boss in Cuphead is easy. You just need to memorize their pattern and train. Even Dr.Kahl's Robot is ridiculousy easy. Even King Dice is ridiculousy easy.
The animation style being like a Cuphead boss was amazing. There was even ex moves and parries. It’s even cooler how Hank was a part of the Boss Battle as well.

Can we appreciate that the animation is so smooth + plus adding an actual Cuphead boss battle scene This animation has a lot of effort put in Great job to the people who helped with the animation and Moro himself
Reasons why this is awesome.. no.. AWESOME! 1. Instead of it being an animated battle, it's a Cuphead Boss fight. The fight itself looks insane as well! 2. The "player" was skilled enough to not use but ONE EX move this whole fight. (Me personally, I would've spammed the EX moves, ya know, once I charged one up.) 3. The fight kinda turned into a 2 player due to Hank appearing. 4. When Hank got hit, he lost his gun. So funny how he just has another one ready and waiting. (To me it references the different attacks that Cuphead can unlock.) 5. Basically it's designed after Cuphead instead of the animations you guys do and that's a nice change of pace. The ONLY thing that would've made it better, is if you would've had the victory screen at the end.
Also Hank plays similarly to Ms Chalice (Invinicibiltiy Slide and Parry Dash. not sure about the Double Jump or 4 hit points part though. he would still obviously have his own Specials to use). Also the fight would be 2 times easier using the Shot blast and the New Upwards attack from how Close Tricky lets you be.
tbh this kinda makes sense seeing as cuphead is playable and usually when a character is playable they have nearly unlimited power, sure tricky is kinda overpowered but the rules that follow cuphead around absolutely blow tricky's power out of the water, the only notable advantage I can see tricky having is his improbability drive, at 2:10 to my interpretation it triggers a cutscene instead of just letting the fight play out thus allowing tricky to disable the player's control get in some damage, unfortunately for him this doesn't last for long and hank joins in... now with that said if tricky was in possession of the keystone fragment (the halo in madness combat 11) things would turn out much differently, he would be able to fight with rather quick reflexes and use numerus improvised attacks instead of cycling through the same old pre-generated ones. Like in how the sans vs bendy fight they fought quickly and skillfully tricky is unable to do that because of game logic or whatever, basically what I'm trying to say is that the power of the halo would overpower the power that cuphead has within and thus toy around with him. tldr this makes sense because yes

Some mechanics such as pausing the game and retrying after death shouldn't count in a fight between characters. However 2.) While I do agree that the main character being OP isn't in some case, and the use of unlimited power is kinda exaggerating, this animation is trying to replicate the gameplay of Cuphead. And in Cuphead, you can die as many times as you want and do stuff I guess. I think that's what they mean by unlimited power but I might be wrong. This animation is also trying to replicate madness accelerant(2:22), where in the game, tricky dies (Or leaves i guess). Tricky is also the antagonist in this animation. And that's why Cuphead will win(At least in his game) and tricky will lose no matter what, therefore proving Cuphead is powerful(at least in his game and the game where he is the protagonist). 3.) If we also base this of madness combat, this will be an endless fight, like madness cmmbat. @@metar9006 it does depend though, canonically we win in many other games so it could be said that we either died a bunch, didn't die at all or tanked every hit at the beginning of a fight and flawlessly dodged, in cuphead we canonically win. We'd have to in order for the dlc to have occurred, thus going back to my original point, if we canonically beat the devil and possibly won against chef saltbaker then of course we'd beat tricky. Plus the fact that if we canonically won and have the ability to retry that also technically means no-hit runs are cannon due to the ability to retry over and over again, while it isn't as mentioned in cuphead as it is in undertale it still is something to take into account.

And this is just an ordinary Tricky, and what will happen if he also becomes a Nightmare ...... I think Cuphead's time with the nightmare form was already expiring once Tricky had attacked him, I mean it had to have taken a lot of energy from him to shoot that giant beam into the sky and create a portal, not to mention it was cracking from his small fight from the Auditor. This is also the first time Cuphead had taken that form, he's probably not very used to it, say like Sans who has clearly used it before and knows how to activate it. While I do agree with Tricky having a chance to beat Cuphead without hank. Tricky probably couldn't break the nightmare form so easily if Cuphead had fought him at the same power he had fought the Devil with.

For the people pointing out that Tricky's punch destroyed Cuphead's Nightmare form, Look at the difference between Nightmare Cuphead in Nightmare Cuphead vs. The Devil and Nightmare Cuphead here. He looks FAR more damaged than in Nightmare Cuphead vs. The Devil which is probably why Tricky one tapped his Nightmare Form

And honestly, I'm quite surprised that Cuphead broke out of his Nightmare form after he killed Tricky, and I loved the Madness Accelerant and Cuphead boss fight reference, and of course Hank teaming up with Cuphead to defeat Tricky was absolutely amazing! Reasons why this is awesome.. no.. AWESOME!
1. Instead of it being an animated battle, it's a Cuphead Boss fight. The fight itself looks insane as well!
2. The "player" was skilled enough to not use but ONE EX move this whole fight. (Me personally, I would've spammed the EX moves, ya know, once I charged one up.)
3. The fight kinda turned into a 2 player due to Hank appearing.
4. When Hank got hit, he lost his gun. So funny how he just has another one ready and waiting. (To me it references the different attacks that Cuphead can unlock.)
5. Basically it's designed after Cuphead instead of the animations you guys do and that's a nice change of pace.
The ONLY thing that would've made it better, is if you would've had the victory screen at the end.
Honestly when it faded to black I wholeheartedly thought I was gonna hear the victory music
Also Hank plays similarly to Ms Chalice (Invinicibiltiy Slide and Parry Dash. not sure about the Double Jump or 4 hit points part though. he would still obviously have his own Specials to use).
Also the fight would be 2 times easier using the Shot blast and the New Upwards attack from how Close Tricky lets you be.
6. They made Tricky meow at 1:26 just like the devs said they were gonna make him meow but it never happened

tbh this kinda makes sense seeing as cuphead is playable and usually when a character is playable they have nearly unlimited power, sure tricky is kinda overpowered but the rules that follow cuphead around absolutely blow tricky's power out of the water, the only notable advantage I can see tricky having is his improbability drive, at 2:10 to my interpretation it triggers a cutscene instead of just letting the fight play out thus allowing tricky to disable the player's control get in some damage, unfortunately for him this doesn't last for long and hank joins in... now with that said if tricky was in possession of the keystone fragment (the halo in madness combat 11) things would turn out much differently, he would be able to fight with rather quick reflexes and use numerus improvised attacks instead of cycling through the same old pre-generated ones. Like in how the sans vs bendy fight they fought quickly and skillfully tricky is unable to do that because of game logic or whatever, basically what I'm trying to say is that the power of the halo would overpower the power that cuphead has within and thus toy around with him.

First of all: pretty much every game is playable, so wouldn't that mean that every video game protagonist has near unlimited power? Again, no, game mechanics shouldn't be used when calculating the power of a character

I agree. Some mechanics such as pausing the game and retrying after death shouldn't count in a fight between characters. However
2.) While I do agree that the main character being OP isn't in some case, and the use of unlimited power is kinda exaggerating, this animation is trying to replicate the gameplay of Cuphead. And in Cuphead, you can die as many times as you want and do stuff I guess. I think that's what they mean by unlimited power but I might be wrong. This animation is also trying to replicate madness accelerant(2:22), where in the game, tricky dies (Or leaves i guess). Tricky is also the antagonist in this animation. And that's why Cuphead will win(At least in his game) and tricky will lose no matter what, therefore proving Cuphead is powerful(at least in his game and the game where he is the protagonist).
3.) If we also base this of madness combat, this will be an endless fight, like madness cmmbat. But sadly madness combat (the series itself, not project nexus) is not a game and Cuphead (Not the show since he doesn't really have infinite retries in that show) is not a series.

@@metar9006 it does depend though, canonically we win in many other games so it could be said that we either died a bunch, didn't die at all or tanked every hit at the beginning of a fight and flawlessly dodged, in cuphead we canonically win. We'd have to in order for the dlc to have occurred, thus going back to my original point, if we canonically beat the devil and possibly won against chef saltbaker then of course we'd beat tricky. Plus the fact that if we canonically won and have the ability to retry that also technically means no-hit runs are cannon due to the ability to retry over and over again, while it isn't as mentioned in cuphead as it is in undertale it still is something to take into account.

I still think that Tricky had a chance to win because. his original form hit the Nightmare version of Cuphead with such force that the Nightmare's shell just crumbled, and it's okay if there were a few good hits, but here with ONE HIT, the Nightmare Mug cracks! And this is just an ordinary Tricky, and what will happen if he also becomes a Nightmare ......

Tricky was already losing without Hank
I think Cuphead's time with the nightmare form was already expiring once Tricky had attacked him, I mean it had to have taken a lot of energy from him to shoot that giant beam into the sky and create a portal, not to mention it was cracking from his small fight from the Auditor. This is also the first time Cuphead had taken that form, he's probably not very used to it, say like Sans who has clearly used it before and knows how to activate it. While I do agree with Tricky having a chance to beat Cuphead without hank. Tricky probably couldn't break the nightmare form so easily if Cuphead had fought him at the same power he had fought the Devil with.

He looks FAR more damaged than in Nightmare Cuphead vs. The Devil which is probably why Tricky one tapped his Nightmare Form

DUDE!!! That was Sick!!!! And honestly, I'm quite surprised that Cuphead broke out of his Nightmare form after he killed Tricky, and I loved the Madness Accelerant and Cuphead boss fight reference, and of course Hank teaming up with Cuphead to defeat Tricky was absolutely amazing! So, from a lore perspective, after BF fought with the Nightmare version of Cuphead, both got teleported to different areas; Cuphead to the Madness Combat "universe" and BF probably was snatched by Nightmare Sans.
