@@HM2CULT I see...It's when you rolled back the highs that the idea of a "different" circuit popped up, as generally, the highs rolled back bring a muddy and boomy sound. There it was more like "oh wait that's a proper sludgefest!"
@@AIBCustomFx I think I've seen it being referred to as a gated fuzz online. If you've got some cash spare, I'd pick one up in his Easter sale. It's my favourite pedal for a centre guitar channel.
So I was wondering if this would sound good running a 93 Gibson les Paul studio in C# to a Cr120. From what I hear it is best on a very clean amp , which my orange is not. But I'm really not playing clean.
The settings at 2:32 are how I have mine set, then I stack it with a big gated fuzz (Mr. Black Doomstick v1) after it. It’s heavy as fuck and the gate on the Doomstick keeps the noise in check pretty perfectly.
I had this and really wanted to love it. The setup I had it on it was very noisy and I couldn't tame it. I regret selling it as I wonder how it would sound on my current rig.
When you ran both together, irreparable damage was done to the fabric of the Universe. Got to pick up one of Idiotbox’s idiot boxes. Absolutely brutal! 🤘🏻😎🎸
The dungeon master seems to be more "intense" than other hm2 clones...i quite like it!
The muff/fuzz/hm2 combo that makes up the dungeon master does give it a lot more than a typical hm2 clone.

gnar pedals for gnar sounds.
@@riffsnoleads I agree. however, i'd say gnar sound for the idiotbox and knarr sound for the HM2...you know...swedish...vikings and all...

You guys should do the redrum next... basically an hm2 maxed out with a rat circuit
I didn't know that. And there's no "you guys," just me ;)

btw: I
I've got both the Dungeon Master and the Redrum.
Highly recommended and he's still got his Easter sale on, until tomorrow I think.
Mine came in today. Nasty AF!
Dungeon master has that right tone for Mortician Death metal tone, imo

Idiotbox have more musical tone then Hm2!

but noise is so cool. don't cater to audio engineers, make their ears bleed.
@@riffsnoleads to a degree I agree.
I love this pedal and I can confirm my EHX noisegate literally can't even touch it LMAO depends on what you're trying to play I guess
@@spncrgrn hahaha nice! I have his newer pedal, Death Master. That thing is incredible!
@@Defleshuary thanks I'll check it out
