Is the CV19 prevalence 3%? That would mean if the test is 90% sensitive & 90% selective the accuracy is 21.8% or other words 79.2% false positives. The asymptomatic people simply don't have it and very few of the supposed infected had it either, they likely had something else.
Thank you so much! My professor explained the PPV as confusing as possible. I tried to understand how to calculate for about an hour. After watching your video it's clear to me and it's so easy :)
Wow I really appreciated the story in the end demonstrating how these numbers are used. I think I know what to look for now when studying biostat! Thank you!
for PPV why are you not putting the TP (true positive value in the denominator) its supposed to be PPV = TP/TP+FPx100 or a/a+b x 100 i would just like to clarify
Great, GREAT video. Clear and concise explanation. (And it reveals “bureaucratic medicine” and all its dangers. I know...I’m a pilot.)
Really helpful clip to understand the relationship between prevalence and PPV! Thank you!
I cannot believe that I very easily could understand it all clearly by watching your video only 1 time , I cannot thank you enough😊

Nice presentation - it's especially useful to use simple Bayesian networks to do some of the heavy lifting in calculating these figures.
I didn't not understand well on the calculating the prevalence
Great explanation!!! Thank you
How we can calculate the prevalence P(D) if we didn’t get it?
can someone help me please how can i caculate the prevalence of the desease ?
crammed this 3 hours before an exam. Thank you.
Will definitely get back to it from time to time.
Hi @darlenegnilo-dimaculangan6177!
Did you pass! :)
So much better than the explanations I got in class. Thank you.

He's summing it up beforehand(e.g for first one he adds the 180 and 60 before to get 260 as the denominator)
Thanks. You just saved me the stress. God bless you
This was really well explained. Thank you, sir.
excellent video. Thank you.
why aren't you blinking
Nice . . . I just shared this with my Statistics class!
Correlation between prevalence and positive predictive value
A very informative clip, the interpretations are well captired.
Thanks! Making PPV easy!
Maza aa gaya bhai.
Kya video banaya hai❤
thank you so much ^-^
best video ever
thank you
great visuals
How 855?

He worked for United. They just beat his ass.

Watching while we're getting scammed with fake PCR tests...
That was a great video, you can explain very clearly, sir. Thank you!
