this makes me wonder what it would be like to use the standard spellbooks curse spell with tome of water, to lower their defence by 15%.
Similar to 3 claws in a row, but no dps. Combined with the guthix setup doesn't make much sense and compared to not casting a wrath spell that hit +40s, costs 0dps for a 5 tick cycle, so it's bad.
Maybe they should update it so it is viable in pvp

You need someone on lunar to stat spy them after you lower the defense to see what it drops too. Nice vid 🤙🏼

The beauty of this combo is they can brew up to raise their def back but that lowers their magic level thus making CoG more accurate. If you keep smite off then they'll use their super restores less which keeps their def low. It's a really good combo

Interesting meta, never seen it. I use zammy staff so enemy waste restores in order to fight back with ancients or surges. Props for vid and channel. Love u man ❤️

This is a really good setup considering if they are brewed down on Sara brews your cog will always hit reducing their defenses and since your potted you will always have the advantage on specing them out or just general dps

100% until its under their base level, ive tested it on my alt
it debuffs untill max lvl -5%, that's down to 94 if 99 def, so from a potted up 121 or 118 def down to 94, the debuff should be kinda consistent as they're using restores/brews.

Is claws of guthix more dead? I figured flames of zamorak would be. I would imagine claws of guthix is nearly entirely dead for PVP, but it's the only god spell I would ever consider using in PVM (unless there's something with a huge mage defense that I can't think of?). I would think in PVP you'd only ever want to use saradomin strike for the smite, but maybe I'm wrong.

I'm wondering. If your lvl to equip gear is lower then the gear requirement, does that automatically denied the equipped gear stats and passive effects since your by stats not be able to equip it?
No as long as your base level meets the requirement you'll always be able too
