Turned in my two week notice. Tomorrow is my last day! I’m excited and nervous all at the same time. Next week I’m going to a Talent competition where I will be modeling, singing, and acting in front of casting directors and agents. Whether I get signed or not I know I will be afforded the tools to pursue my dreams of being an Entertainer. I really enjoyed your video and hope all is well with you!
That’s so inspiring! I wish you all the luck in the world :) I’m doing great, I don’t regret my decision even on the hard days. As corny as it is, when people say the journey is the best part that’s how I feel now. Success doesn’t seem so far when you’re happy every step of the way :)
I LOVE THESE VIDEOS. I'm going to put my FULL HEART AND SOUL into my youtube My job saved me away from my abusive friend AND abusive family. They gave me a new life that I am so proud of. I would be dead if it wasn't for them Buttt even with all my love with thiscompy, IM FINALLY READY to start my journey. I spent my life fixing all the bad things but now that it's done, I want to move on to my next step in life and that's exploring my true talents and love. I am sooo excited!!!
I’m so happy to hear you’re in a better place! And that’s what I try to explain in my videos, the job you leave isn’t always on bad terms. Sometimes you just outgrow it which should be celebrated! It’s definitely your time to focus on you 🤍 I’m filming my one year update in a few weeks so it has definitely been an interesting journey, but I don’t regret my decision and I’m happier than ever. Wish you all the luck 🥰
THIS WAS ME working and going to school while trying to balance out my own business is nearly impossible to do and have a social life! But literally everything you said is me I felt like a took a leap of faith with gods guidance!
Nice video😀 I didn't know you're from Newfoundland. I'm from Ontario. I also resigned last year too & did a video on it too. When you were saying how you feel fine about your decision...I feel the same way. I wonder if that's because we're following our intuition🙂
That’s awesome! Yeah I’m from Newfoundland but living in Nova Scotia. And I agree, I haven’t regretted my decision a single time. Even with the uncertainty I feel like I’m on the right path 😊
Great video Alex, and appreciate your transparency. Quitting your job to bet on yourself is the best move you could ever do. People are quitting because they realised their worth and will not put up with unfulfilling work lives. I did a video on my channel about why I quit my corporate job recently and chose purpose over a pay check. It’s the best decision I could have ever made! Bet on yourself and you will succeed.
Thank you for your kind comment, it is nice to connect with others who are going through a similar thing 😊 It is definitely scary, but the only way to deal with the self-doubt is to push through it and bet on yourself!
Relatable. I am in a similar position due to a layoff last Sept. You're right that mindset matters. It is scary and that can either create anxiety or excitement. All the best on your journey.
I wish you luck too! It is definitely about finding the good in the situation and letting it guide you, but it can easily be turned into self-doubt which is what I’m fighting with right now!
@@xxelacreates yes, self-doubt is a constant. It will always be present in some form. Doubt is good in that it makes us stop for a moment and think before acting. The challenge is not letting it overtake our judgement and becoming comfortable enough with it so it is easier to dismiss most of it as useless noise.
You know, for me, I found that spark years ago, and I started searching for it since then, reading, searching and studying every minute. But alas, I can't find a way to get out of my issues now. I lost the hope of finding it either. I really wish you the best.
I hope you find a glimmer of hope soon, it must be hard. When I’m feeling lost or discouraged I usually wait for a serendipitous moment. Sometimes what you need comes to you when you stop looking ❤️
I work at a hospital since May 2015 as admin assistant/secretary and let me tell you that job is so fucking toxic. After the pandemic i realized how this made me depressed most of the time, gained lots of weight since i joined, losing hair and my sanity. i work from 7-4 with 1 hour commute, no place for career improvement, instead i get to do other staff shit, and the thing that made me furious they refused my request to get a rise! the pay is ok but is not worth it at all. I’m really considering not to renew my contract with them this year and trying to save money. I really don’t give a single fuck now and im doing the absolute bare minimum kinda feel nice not gonna lie lol. Thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts with us i really feel like im not alone in this. Good luck and i wish you all the best!
I’m sorry to hear you’re in a bad situation! It can be very draining and discouraging to be in a position where you feel no growth and no appreciation while it takes your time and energy. There’s a lot of opportunities out there now, especially with the rise of remote work. Definitely worth looking into your options and start planning for a better situation. You’re definitely not alone in this ❤️
I’m glad you made this video, I’m in the same boat as you. I’m pretty new on my spiritual journey and I’ve been at a job that I hate for about 4 years now and I’m now watching videos like yours & I’m thinking about quitting and finding something I actually enjoy doing or just taking some time off to just focus on my growth more. I’m definitely looking forward to your update video on this!
I’ll definitely give an update in the coming weeks 😊 it was a hard decision, but there are so many opportunities. Don’t be afraid to start looking at your options and making a plan for yourself. Even setting a plan for a date down the road can give you a bit of hope 🥰

I quit because of vaccines and mask. I might go back part time when all the Covid crap is over
I’m not sure where you’re from but I know in Canada the Covid restrictions are starting to slack!
