Oukitel WP35 | Outdoor - Smartphone with relatively “compact” dimensions + almost 11,000 mAh battery

You may know Oukitel as a smaller smartphone manufacturer that focuses, at least for the most part, on the niche of outdoor smartphones or rugged phones, as they are called in English. These devices are characterized by the fact that they can withstand rough handling on construction sites, in the fields or on a mountain hike, as the housing is better protected against bumps and knocks than is the case with normal smartphones. This is normally associated with correspondingly large devices, but the WP35 is designed to counteract this fact and impresses with a thickness of just 14.9 mm. This is particularly remarkable as it also has a huge 11,000 mAh battery. Somewhat surprisingly for a budget smartphone, there is a 5G chip in the device, specifically the mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip, which is flanked by 8 GB of RAM. This is not exactly known for outstanding gaming performance, but this is probably not necessary for the WP35's target group. Dual SIM is also on board, as is 256 GB of memory. The 6.6-inch display has a resolution of 1,080 x 2,408 pixels, which corresponds to 400 ppi. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. I think it is clear that the device supports NFC, as well as GPS / Glonass / Beidou and Galileo.
In the camera area, there are 3 different lenses on the device in the usual round arrangement. A 64 megapixel main camera with Sony IMX682 sensor, an 8 MP IR camera for night shots and a 2 MP macro camera, which also allows close-up detail shots. The camera setup is rounded off by the 32 MP front camera for selfies and more.
This complete package will be released in the next few days and will be available at a price of just over €200, although I would expect the price to be closer to €180 when fully charged. We already have the device here and take a look at what it can do and what it can't do so well.
