Celebrities don't ask for nudes as it's a 10 year jail sentence for manipulating people to see a naked pic.. especially from 12-18-21 year olds ... Plus he isn't famous he's a x-factor employee xD

His behaviour, which is not him performing in front of judges, but his own private actions revealed while being under contract with the X factor, is degrading everything and everyone.
He already proved to the world that he has not improved. His age is higher so what ?
He cannot deny there are more mature teenagers more worthy of participating and WINNING the prize.

Getting banned because he was asking for kiddie porn is a pretty sweet deal actually. If he got anyone even 1 day under 18 yrs of age, he would be in a jail cell right now.
There's a big difference between Chris Brown and Josh's latest dilemma. Chris Brown is one of the biggest superstars in music today and he's made it. He can afford to fuck up because he has already sold out millions of cds and concert tickets and has established his reputation. Josh is acting like he's already a superstar before he's even in the business. So please DO NOT BRING JOSH BACK.
guessing the producers wanted someone who they could manipulate, Josh on the other hand was like "i'll do it my way or what not." I have yet to see tons of winner who did what they wanted or took control in competitions like this. kelly clarkson, clay aiken, and Jordan sparks, 3 people I've seen pretty much did things their way a bit.

I think this was over-read into and probably influenced by his friend. I think this is ridiculous. People are people and why should people judge people for everything they do, plus a contract by a contestant, they are not lawyers, its just such a ridiculous expectation to think a young boy should be judged by acting like someone his age.

PLEAAASEE bring him back, it really was just that. A dumb mistake. He's just a young guy who made a joke online, stupidly enough, but he shouldn't be disqualified. He should be given the chance to publicly apologize. Besides, since when is sneaky banana code for naked pics? That's ridiculous. If he does come back, he probably will have a harder time, because he's probably got some haters now, but he still deserves a shot. Especially after having fought so much for this.

His employer, the X Factor, had him sign a contract. he was arrogant enough to disregard his end of the bargain, so off he goes.

Eventually sealing his fate with 5 minutes of stupidity, it gave Carmelo a second chance to prove that he was worthy in the first place, besides during bootcamp he was the one who encouraged nerve-ridden Adil to join the group again in order to perform in front of the judges.
Noone can say or do as he pleases when he is violating some very important rules you also seem to lack.

He´s a grown up. How old do you have to be to understand that mistakes especially concerning internet postings and sometimes not even meant for public use, but in this case it was too obviously public may lead to a career change.

I don't doubt he intended it to be a joke, but Josh is 21( I think) and for his to have naked photos of girls under the age of 18 is child pornography, which is against the law and the x factor had no choice but to kick him off the show. It really doesn't matter how good of a singer he Is, or how sorry he is

Because he is in the public eye. He- according to the contract rules of the show- will be eliminated from the show if he bring the show into disrespute, and being a contestant at the time of his misdemeanor was rewarded with just what he was asking for- to be kicked out for good. Serves him well.

Bosses need not inquire. They just check the contracts and if there are instances where contestants do not show appropriate behaviour they make it a point in getting rid of those who caused trouble. It´s their legal right because they need no such thing as slander and illicit troublemakers.

I don't completely agree with you. The difference between Josh and the others is that they already have a career and (maybe) can do what they want, while Josh doesn't have that freedom when participating in a talent show. There are normal rules that must be followed and certain unwritten (obvious) rules that SHOULD be followed. He offended the show through his actions, it's like calling your boss names. He should've known... Too bad, he was really good in my opinion.

I agree with you on the fact he represented others, a city, a country, maybe even an agegroup (people in their early twenties) and he didn´t do a good job in representing any of them. I also visualized how he would squander the riches when other more deserving contestants needed the money more urgently. Besides, he has a home and it´s not in a crowded skyscraper apartment complex in the poor part of town.

I'm all for jokes and sarcasm, but someone in this light deserves the punishment for such a shallow comment. Done and done.
This incident should never happen and he knows better than that. In fact, Guy Sebastian was right to send Johnny Ruffo through. Johnny Ruffo was way more consistent than he was. Johnny did better in the live shows than Josh Brookes from this year.
His first audition was awesome. But bootcamp showed he was scared to open his eyes and connect even to Mel B.
One thing people need to realise here is showbiz in a young persons life can be hard,troublesome and often catches fullblown celebs out in the act.
Ok so he breaches a contract he gets kicked off, fair enough, he could have made the show look bad.. The way I see it is as long as they were over 18 and the girls they were talking too were also then I wouldn't say it is exactly "disgusting".. It is certainly unethical though and just poor common sense in general for someone in his position.
Jokes with the intention of being inappropriate and exposing others in order to make fun of them or worse ridicule anyone in public borders on criminal action.

I'm from America and I actually liked Josh...its sad that things ended like this for him...I don't think in this situation that he would have had a chance at all of staying...some type of parents counsel would have rallied to have him booted and the producers would have given in because their core viewers are probably families
