That’s what happened to Jade from Little Mix too. She auditioned twice by herself and then her third time she was put into Little Mix. Both of their stories are inspiring :)

@@JES96 Yep! I forgot about that. It’s crazy how some people came back and had such success stories. If I were competing I’d probably not even try a second time. Another contestant that returned was Ottavio Columbro. For some reason it bothers me that it was never mentioned that he returned, like he did Bootcamp with Rylan Clark and some other guy in Season 9 and not even Nicole said she remembered him or anything. I was just a bit surprised. He definitely changed a lot, which kind of leads me more to believe that Bratavio was partially a joke (Season 13). Also, another contestant whose case bothers me is Melanie McCabe. She auditioned four times, made it to Judges’ Houses once or twice, and never made it to the live shows. And I think her first time was the time she got the farthest in the competition. She wasn’t the best contestant but I wish they at least gave her a shot, especially towards the end when she said she was losing her home and stuff, and I just think that her dedication to the show was really admirable. Wow, I didn’t know I still knew all this stuff, I haven’t watched this show in like two years 😅 I used to be obsessed!
Max is just such a good, honest, hard working person. You could see it from the beginning of the whole deal, that he was not comfortable and he was the first one to admit they were wrong and shook Louis' hand and all. That says a lot about him.
Whoever said that nice guys finish last just needs to look at Max George. He was the most dignified and genuinely upset out of all of them. You can tell he never meant to lie, he just wanted to be able to do what he loved. And now he's got worldwide success because he worked hard. Those other guys are nowhere. Max is lovely and deserves everything he gets in the Wanted.

You Can't Enter X Factor If You Already Have A Record Deal With Someone Else, Its Not Fair On The Others Who Don't Have A Record Deal Wanting To Fulfill Their Dreams
On shows like The X Factor the people who audition are not allowed to have any contracts with anyone else, Avenue said that they were free of anything like that but Louis found out that they had been put together and signed a deal with someone already. Therefore, they had broken the rules. Hope that helps :)
erm jamie left the band and he got replaced by andy brown,they released a single in september called last goodbye and they toured with mcfly in november but sadly yesterday they annouced that they were breaking up.
Well all that doesn't matter anymore, as Avenue are now signed up with Universal. Since 2006 though one band member left, and was replaced by a guy seen performing on UA-cam. And their current song is on Chris Evans BBC Radio 2 playlist.
It broke my heart when Max started crying. It made me cry as well it was partial though. I cried sad but happy tears at the same time if this hadn't happened The Wanted wouldn't of happened either. Maybe it would have but without Max and that wouldn't be the same.

@Tylerrr97 Well, the point of x-factor is to find a singer/group that has never got the chance to be in the music business and Avenue signed a contract with somebody few years before the show so they couldn't even audition for the show and that's why they were eliminated. That's what I think
aww poor max he looks so upset :( he was very mature about the whole thing and took responsibility for it and didn't hold it against them, i'm proud of him. i was so upset when i saw this on tv coz i really liked them but it's better in the long run coz now max is in the wanted and they are better :)

@Antonia878787 the rule is that in order to be in this competition is that you cant be a professional/have a record contract previously and these guys before....lied about just being amateurs when in all actuality they were signed to a record contract by their manager who previously had been part of the X Factor show.

no they shouldn't of 'left them'! I get that they were told to lie but by doing it they stopped a lot of other worthy competitors from getting in. who cares if Max was the most emotional ? they shouldn't of lied. they should've refused to lie and quit the label THEN and only then should they of entered. at least then they wouldn't of been already signed to a label and ruining other people's chances of getting a break in life!
I like the wanted&one direction.... & respect them both as bands... Both bands worked hard to get where they are now... Doesn't even matter who worked harder... So stupid for fighting over something irrelevant ...
they lied to louis when they said they'd been together for 5 months and told him that they were just mates where they are professionals. if you've had a record deal recently you can't enter the show!
Kandy Dewey Agree completely. :3 Why feel sorry for Max when he and the rest not only went against the rules (probably signing a lot of legal documents through the process!) but lied in the face of everyone? Louis on the other hand gave chance to these guys and believed in them (when in fact Simon didn't during their audition). He broke the hearts of others in the process when he chose these guys for the live shows. :S

he couldnt have JUST found out about it, if it was in the papers he either found out when it got leaked to the papers or found out when he saw the headlines.
Depends what order the bits were filmed in. Louis receiving the phonecall could easily have been a few days before the rest of it was filmed, for instance.

The managment who used to sign with the winners set them up apparently. They weren't with them then for some reason, I think it was said on x factor.
