When I was really young, I played with toy cars. When I got a little older, I moved on to building and driving rc cars. Now I play with real cars! Life is awesome.
I used to have to walk to my bus stop in high school, it was about a half a mile away, there was a performance shop called "Street Heat" that I had to walk by every day to and from, and every day they had a white MK4 Supra sitting outside after school, that was my introduction to car culture, keep in mind this was 1995/96 so it was a new car and I always liked it more than Supercars because it was so unique, and now at 38 years old I'm on my 3rd MK4 and I have no regrets.

Was my old brother who got me into cars. He's got autism and was obsessed with cars when we were growing up.
Me my mum and my brother were made homeless, my mum worked 2 jobs and my brother got bullied because of his autism. We grew up in a rough part of Glasgow in the 1990s and never had much. My brother had this poster of a Jaguar XJ220. It was that poster that my love for cars started! Fast forward 30 years we're all doing well (roofs over our heads) but although I don't have a V8 or anything special just yet I still look back at that poster and know I'll get something special one day!

My dad got me into car culture. He had a 1972 Chevelle as far back as I can remember. My brother literally grew up watching, and later, helping him build that car. I'm proud to say my brother and I now own that car. Unlike some stories, my father is still alive, he just moved onto a different car. He bought a 1973 Chevelle SS that was rotisserie restored. He wanted something that people don't normally see at car shows. My brother also has a 2019 Camaro. He used to have a 2000 S-10 Extreme he did an Envoy front end swap, bagged, and sitting on 20's as a proper mini truck. I have a 2016 Chevrolet SS sedan. I also have a 2008 Honda Fit I daily and tinker with. We definitely fit into the car culture that appreciates them all and respects everyone's cars and builds. I loved the intro. Keep up the good work Throtl fam.
My father introduced me to car culture when I was about 7 years old. He had a brand new 90 Fox body 5.0 hatchback Mustang, and took me to an old service road behind a car dealership. He then proceeded to do what I thought at the time was the biggest burnout ever, certainly the biggest I'd ever seen at that time. He said my eyes were as big as quarters and from that moment on I couldn't shut up about cars. This remains the case 30 years later, which brings me here. Unfortunately my Dad had a stroke last year and can no longer drive. We both enjoy spirited drives in my slightly modified 2012 Civic Si now and then.
My moms boyfriend had a rx7 when I was like 6 or 7 and I would purposely miss the bus to ride in his car. He would always take me to the track when he raced it too he is the reason why I love cars today.

What introduced me to car culture was a C3 corvette and a Superbird lining up at the light right in front of me family and I at the red light. I was 6 years old then, and had never seen these cars a day in my life. I heard the loud chop, seen the big tires and even bigger wings. I roll down the window to take a look at them and really hear them and as soon as the light hits green they take off and I never see those cars again or anything like it for years. This is in Springfield Massachusetts so these cars aren’t exactly everywhere. Corvettes soon became my favorite cars ever. Then Gran Turismo introduced to me to even more cars. I was born 1997 so do the math lol, but unlike everyone going for the GT-R I fell in love with the Viper. Then 2 Fast 2 Furious comes out, my first Fast movie and I fell in love with Evos and it’s been a passion and obsession of mine ever since to be into cars. So yeah that’s how I got into cars. I started to get interest on cars when I bought my own car and I wanted to do the maintenance and now I’m studying mechanic
My 2020 CRV drove so smooth on the way to the grocery store....the automatic tailgate gave me such a thrill to walk up to it with a cart full of groceries that I easily placed into the back securely for the drive back home. I love my Honda CRV.
My Dad got me into old school muscle. Fast and the Furious got me into Tuners.
My dad daily drove a '68 firebird that he's owned for 40+ years. Learned to drive and work on cars in that Firebird. What really got me was when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old out driving around with my dad in that Firebird and a blue car with white stripes drove by. Asked my dad what it was and he told me it was a Shelby Cobra. Kit car of course, but I knew right then that I had to have one someday and that I'd want to build it myself. Later I got into tuners, but I'm still determined to have one someday. I'll be taking that drive later to take my 2 youngest sisters to take their written tests for their permits. Then I'm taking them to the mountains for some fun.
Looking fresh my dudes. I went for a drive last night in my 90 NSX...Im the guy who bought the other black NSX with the BBS LMs from Toprank. I came from the era of the early 90s 10 years before Fast and Furious came out and some say they made the first Fast and the Furious based from our era...my friends and I were street racing with the best of them ie Team Wicked and Redline Racing just to name a few and then Battle of the Imports came along and the Gods were born Tony Fuchs, Myles Bautista, the Bergenholtz brothers, Adam Sawatari, Stephen Papadakis, and last but not least Dr. Charles. These guys put import drag racing on the map. During this time AEM, JG Engine Dynamics and whole lot of aftermarket company’s were born. Fast forward 7 years later to 1998 Hot import Nights was born and I ended up going the show route from 98 to 04 with my EG and our crew HDS Racing from the Valley. My first car was actually a 85 Mustang LX when I was 16 yo and from there I’ve had many 88 MR2, 92 EG, 88 and 91 Crx, Del sol, Mitsubishi Starion, 95 BMW 325ic, 05 Evo 9 MR, 64 Malibu Chevelle SS, 05 Honda S2000 which I currently DD and finally my 90 NSX. This is what introduced me to car culture and that is my car culture background in a nutshell. Thanks guys for doing what you do and keep up the great work!
I was introduced to car culture by my father he always had some kind of sports sedan. I had a Scion FRS 2 years ago, leaving school one day I crashed it and since then I haven't had my own car. I love y'alls channel it helps me keep my sanity while in premed.
My love in cars started with a z31 turbo that my dad had in 04 that we didnt revive till 2012 and I learned from taking the whole car apart and putting it back together and the joy of having built something so cool and having it all work right and be able to get in the drivers seat with no hiccups even till today.
My Dad got me into cars. He always had bikes and cars he was working on/fixing up. Just got back from a drive with my daughter(she drove). Thanks Evan.
Got in my flame red 04 neon srt4 after watching this! full bolt on with stock turbo. always a blast taking her out for some back road cruises! The car hobby/passion is a fantastic thing, and extremely rewarding!
A front air cup kit w/ sprint (shorter/equal spring rate) springs is your best friend with this lip. If setup proper, it doesn't affect suspension performance. We've tracked numerous Nsx' with this setup and responds the same as a standard V3. As for side skirts I'd run the stacy skirts with lower door filler panels. It really completes the look.
My dad. My mom was driven around when pregnant with me in my dad's 1970 Firebird Formula 400 (born in 73). When I was a teen he bought a 1987 305 TIP equipped Formula with a 5-speed. Cars and motorcycles were always at my parents house to the extent that as a child I assumed every kids parents were gearheads. My first new car purchase was a 1993 F150 Lightning and my current daily driver/rider in a KTM 1290 SAR. Cheers.
Quick jacks are your friend and taking off that sun strip will improve the look so much. Love the lip and the bonnet!

Well, gr8 job throtl. Those carbon fiber mods are absolutely gorgeous and enhance the overall look times x. I think side skirts really are needed and a professional wash, wax, and shine!

Jessie james the master welder and fabricator, boyd coddington, chip foose, the teutles and also fast and furious as teenager coming up these people is my inspiration my dream car is a mustang I would prefer a classic version. I rly love driving, no matter if it is to the job, visiting my family, or just to the shop. For me it is some how relaxing. My car is Ford Mondeo mk3 1.8 2004, it is kinda slow, but for now it is enough to learn everything about modifing and car repair. My dream car is subaru impreza wrx 💙

My first car- my 91 NA Miata, mostly stock (no power mods). Automatic, so I can't "row through the gears," but I don't need it to enjoy the feeling of driving. Maybe in the future I'll swap it to a manual transmission, but it works for now. Living near you guys is always exciting as I go to the local car meets hoping to spot some of the channel cars there, like in last week where I saw the electric cobra.

When I need a breather I just go drive in my 8th gen accord 6-6 and it makes me smile everytime. Not the fastest car in the world but it's a car I enjoy

The USDM NSX really really needed fog lights. It totally completes the front end of the pre-facelift's. I'm glad they didn't come with them though because it sets apart my NSX from the crowd.
Definitely the first Fast and the Furious got me into cars and now I have an E36 to wrench on, modify and make my own
NSX is absolutely awesome, prolly my fave after the Cappuccinos. PLEASE take that ridic tow hook of the front, this isn't some wannabe 1 liter Focus masquerading as a track weapon its a crafted mid engine car. It don't need teenage props. Evan suggests getting in car, but its 4pm in NYC on a Friday eve when every fool tryin to get out 😩

The subaru Wrx GC8 got me in the car culture.
Gotta do something to the sides. Even if it's just carbon fiber side splitters. Black and carbon is undefeated in my opinion. And maybe a front splitter to protect that pretty carbon lip.
What got me into cars was Need for Speed Underground no cap, that started the real love for cars for me
Definitely needs carbon side skirts to complete the look and bring that carbon around 360 degrees. Already looks so fucking sick though! The NSX has always been a top 5 favorite of mine.

I drive a Mazda 6 GT. Not the fastest car, not the flashiest car, but it's my car and I smile every time I get out of it from a drive and look back at it. If that isn't the feeling you get from your bond with your car, you're doing it wrong.

That driver side exhaust tip misalignment is bothering me lol. Also, the +02 side skirts should be a good look here... if not some other carbon fiber subtle design look
