I've owned the 100 for over two years now. I love it. It packs down tiny and lives in the camper with a 5piece paddle, and an inflatable PFD. On calm water you can do 3-4mph no problem and it feels extremely stable. I have used it down a few rivers (2-3), and it bounces off rocks with no issues, the side material just conforms to the obstacles it meets, the bottom experiences the most abrasion, but that is not what keeps you afloat anyway, nevertheless no damage. For the use and fun I have had from it, it is well worth the money👍
Love my PR500. I live in the UK and they're not available here because of the carabineer issue 😏 I was fortunate enough to get mine from eBay from someone who'd brought one back from Europe. I've done a long cycle and paddle trip with it and it moves a lot better with the weight of the bike on the front. I've also done some gentle whitewater with it and it's fun. I've got 3 packrafts. This one, an Aquaglide Expedition 85 which I also love and a Biluta. The latter I didn't like so much until I started using it as my sacrificial craft - I've stabbed holes in it several times in order to test different quick fix repair tapes. It's taken a lot of abuse and is still going strong. For me packrafts are expensive play boats. They're great fun on the water and like you say allow you to do things you can't necessarily do with a standard inflatable kayak. I've also got an Aquaglide Cirrus and more recently the Aqua Marina Halve - both ultralight TPU full size kayaks. Both a lot of fun with their lightweight being a boon. Thanks for your comparison between the 2 Itiwit models - great idea 👍😁
The lack of a sprayskirt or self-bailer floor is not (just) a temperature issue, in whitewater your raft would fill up quickly with water and you'd need to stop all the time to empty it. It seems like the Itiwit 100 is a good option for flat/slow water and the Itiwit 500.. does not really fit anywhere imho.
You seem to be doing a lot of trips with the guys. Some sort of trip video would be fun with some voice over. It’s slightly different than doing reviews I admit.
Well we do have a couple of trail reviews on the channel, those are a bit more vlog-style. The problem is we speak Dutch, so we'd have to put subtitles on everything. Not sure our international viewers would watch that 😅
The difference isn't huge, but I think the 500 gives a bit more support since it's a bit higher in the back. Plus the rear attachment points for the knee straps could come in handy if you want to retrofit a backrest.

Zoals steeds een interessante review met een aangename stem en inonberispelijk Engels, zalig! Grtjs uit As.

Altijd al afgevraagd wat die dingen waard zijn. Thx for the vid 👍

Interesting, thanks ! Which one of the two is the more confortable for the lower back -For people, like me having lumbagos ?
