  • We visit 3 ancient sites in close proximity at Lligwy, near Moelfre. Although geographically close, they are chronologically separated from one another by many centuries.

I often visited this place when I lived in Caernarfon more than 30 years ago, and it has remained in my memory as being hauntingly mysterious in its natural simplicity. I once took a photo of my mother seating in one of the circle houses, looking a bit like some sort of ancient character.
This beautiful work has added an extra touch of depth and meaning. It is a nice gift. Thanks Nick.
I have never returned to this spot since 1991 but it was one of my favourite ones on Ynis Môn, along with the view on Red Wharf Bay, South Stack and Puffin Island. I was spellbound by Gwynedd and Anglesey and even tried to move back to Caernarfon a few years after and carry on the study of the language. Life decided otherwise but there is a trace of hiraeth that has remained and will always be.
    Diolch yn fawr Cymru.😌👍✌🙏

Ynnys Mon is all Sacred! Over 1000 dedicated Druids died for the truth and honesty there. This planet has been plunged into Roman lies and darkness every since.

GPS coordinates for the locations or "what three words" location would have been a nice touch, but just a thought. Nice video though.

Just a thing, when you talked about the "Llygwy burial chamber, you mentioned "it was covered by a earth mound" but nowdays it is thought to have not a earth covering, because of the "channels" all around the capstone, would have taken thousands of years to weather in, just a bit of info, very nice vids.
