Just hoping i made the right choice looked on the advanced elements site and they state that the airvolution can be used in coastal waters so the 9 chambers put me off the elite and for long day trips in varied waterstates and changing weather conditions tidal currents and chop looks like the airvolution will cope i crossed southampton water in the stearns lumpy waves so lf that did it the airvolution should cope 🤣
The receiver for my skeg was caving in which made it hard to slide in the skeg. I took a wood shim, cut it in half, and slid the fatter half into the receiver. This holds it open while in storage. It easily comes out when I want to install the skeg.
Hi Dale i have pre ordered the 2021 Airvolution what are the differences between the Airvolution 2020 and 2021 thanks in advance
Seat improvement and some rigging changes. I’m unaware of anything else.

@@plymouthchat either or will work. Way more storage on the elite. But both are great crafts.
Definitely going to do this with mine. Great tips. Thanks.
You're welcome, quick and easy to do. Thanks for watching

Great 💡
Here is a DYI strap clip that will tame those seat straps: rick.sparber.org/StrapClip.pdf
Dale, I suggest you use a larger towel (time stamp 1:18) and get it very wet first. it wouldn't take more that a second to burn through the hull. Rick
Wonderful tips video as always!
Q: you have the seat fairly far back. I’m six feet tall. Room enough for me?
Thank you. There is more than enough room for you. I’m really short and I place the seat as far back as I can. My feet can’t reach the bulkhead. Lol
I'm 5'11 and I can rest my feet on the front at full stretch.
Here are a few more tips and tricks related to the AirVolution: rick.sparber.org/ma.html#Kayaking
A little bit of OCD Dale? You must have the neatest kayak on the water :)
IKR. Lol
