KSE has gotten me through some of the toughest trials of my life, and I don't think I could come close to showing my appreciation.
Jesse needs to go on Rogan... it's time.
This needs to be trending! It has to happen!!! I just came from a podcast to this lol :)
FUCK YES
But has he tried dmt?
You know weed is a totally different drug when processed by the gut. It turns into 11 hydroxy metabolite. Haha. Seriously though, would be cool too see Jesse on JRE.
Thadius Vonhammer but has he tried dmt in a deprivation chamber?
This dude talks more sense than ANY politician ever has or ever will 🤔
Politician's are puppets..
met him years ago when he was touring with times of grace. seems like a different guy now for the better
Killswitch and mushrooms are some of my favorite things
I can't wait for "I Am Broken Too". I entered their song contest and I can't wait to hear what it actually sounds like.
Check the KSE channel :)
It's out now.
Most people who made world changing influence went through horrible tragedies and they didn't want anyone else to go through them
That's the problem with the world. People who have never gone through a tragedy can't relate to those who do, and so they write them off as stupid/lazy/crazy or whatever. Either that or they just don't care and expect them to simply "Get on with the job". Mental health is simply not treated well enough in the world today.
Glad to hear Jesse is one more voice for our right to nature's own medicines. Thanks for speaking out, brother.
Just started getting into KSE. Jesse is such an honest, genuine, awesome fucking guy.
I love me some jesse leach....such a great singer.
my respect for that man just multiplied by infinity
The questions were intelligent. Jesse is just beautiful.
Jesse leach is being zo real, i am glad he spread that message. Hé is a wonderful human being.
Robin Williams was a genius in his comedy. So, I think Jesse Leach has spot on this subject.
I had no idea he was this bright and deep thinking. Changed my view on Killswitch Engage totally. I was a huge fan before, but I have a different prospective now!
Wonderful interview. Thanks guys.
Jesse is my favorite human!
Is anyone even surprised ? “Alive or just breathing” one of the most conscious and sentient musicians, remarkably.
I feel like this guy has dropped some of the most aggressively peaceful lyrics...
Jesse speaks truth 100%
Every topic in this video.
Strength of the mind, Before I lose CONTROL
I have depression and anxiety and KSE is awesome I love falling asleep to his music and a few other bands
Jesse looks so good! Good for him.
I love this man!
Jesse looks so healthy right now. So happy for him.
Great interview! Very DEEP! 🎵🎶
😎👍 🍄
It's called growing up💗🤗
I saw these guys 2 days ago in Myrtle Beach at the House of Blues and they kicked ass. One of the best concerts I've ever seen.
What was the line up? Just curious, seeing them in couple weeks.
@@Rick-sl2ii It was them, Clutch and an old 80's band Cromags.
Hunter Hucks Yes I seen Cromags at CBGB’s, Metal/Punk. Thank you, bringing my sons. They made me get seats at stage side being they said they can’t survive the pit with guys like me:)
@@Rick-sl2ii Haha, yeah I was right up front got to shake ole Jesse's hand, watch out though the moshers always find a way to you lol
Ah man sounds amazing
This is great! I think and feel exactly the same about it
My homie from high school would always hear kse and atreyu and i liked atreyu but never got into kse untill like 2 years ago i was missing out on all there early stuff. They're actually a good band especially now that jesse leach is back.
Speaking of Atreyu, have you kept up with them? If so what is your opinion on In Our Wake and the new album without Alex? I'd love to.pick your brain. Idk anyone personally that likes Atreyu
Amen! I agree with this man.
Pain can be channeled into wisdom and great creativity if you choose to accept and learn from it, as opposed to numbing it (which is so easy to do in our society).
He ain't wrong about the mushrooms I did that when I was young in moderation and it worked for awhile until I dived head first into music and wrote some pretty cool stuff. Jesse your awsome dude 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Everyone has their own approach to overcoming mental health issues. I tried alternate methods for 12 months and got worse. My route to finally getting better was a good psychiatrist and antidepressants. If you're seriously on the edge, see the people with the medical degrees first.
You are able to find alternatives...Seek OTC OR BTC Medicine. OTC= OVER THE COUNTER. BTC= BEHIND THE COUNTER! IF YOU'RE BROKEN TOO! YOU WILL FIND YOUR WAY THROUGH! GOD PUT ALL MEDS IN ARMS REACH OF THOSE WHO NEED IT, OR IN DIRE NEED OF IT!
Seen KSE twice and hope to see them again!
What he says about darkness being necessary is scary shit since I'm a creative person who also suffers
A very interesting and intelligent dude. Got my daughter and my tickets for Knotfest in Tampa with Killswitch. October 19th can't come fast enough. Can not wait to see Killswitch and the Circus. This will be my daughters second concert. First one was KISS and it was amazing. Now we are taking the 200 mile trip to see the GREATEST live act in the world. Trying to bring her up right and to have good taste in music. Anyway I truly hope all is well with ALL of you and I will see you in the pit. Be well, be cool and for gods sake be good to each other. LOVE YOU ALL!!!
Dope man
Love you Jesse🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻❤️❤️❤️
He lost some weight.looks good man.
lost a lot
I like his style in 2012 2013
I love their new track sure it not so heavy but sometimes dark emotions can help make a song good even outside of metal
Diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder and this man gives me inspiration. Not a fan of Killswitch Engage but I’ll check their new album out for sure. Stay strong fellow metal fans
The thumbnail looks like if 'Alien guy' went through a punk phase
I can't wait for the new album and by the way it's all about Facebook
Lol! I said the same exact thing the other day about mushrooms and canabis "It grows out of the ground ...and it's illegal? are you kidding me!?!?!
If only they would legalize opium too. Grows out the ground as well...
@@allen0026 They key is moderation and to be in the right frame of mind and in the right surroundings. When I've applied those rules I've never had a bad time. If you are pissed off and take shrooms then you are in for a VERY bad time.
Mushrooms are about the right atmosphere
Plus being in the right state of mind.
I like this interviewer way better than the other dude.
Do lsd to help with my issues and it is amazing
Speaking about mental health with a BABYMETAL poster nearby :'). KSE and BABYMETAL both help me in dealing with my demons.
Cool
I just literally heard the same thing about mushrooms a day ago. Seems like it's really good in dealing with mental illnesses.
I disagree, mushrooms can bring out underlying mental illnesses. I've seen it first hand.
@@MrC9Oh3, they can, but I've heard far more people say that thay rather helped with their condition. I think I've aslo read somewhere that LSD can cause mental problems too, but that almost never happens and most of the times it helps curing another ones. Who would microdose without already messed up condition anyways, there's no point in it.
@@69fox lol
@@69fox yeah and mainly it’s because everybody’s brain is different. For me, I believe in marijuana for medical usage and for what Jesse said but the reason why it’s illegal is bc most people abuse it. But that’s just how I look at it
@@biggruss8445 may be. A matter of will power I guess.
Move to Canada, weed is 100% legal and works wonders for my mental health. Before I smoked weed, I use to listen to Oasis and cry a lot. Now I smoke weed, listen to KSE and very, very happy most of the time! Oh and smoking weed, makes me not want to choke ppl out so much too. :)
Fuck Canada.
Dat Youth Code tee shirt 😲🤘🤘🔊 Still don't get that magic shroomz are illegal.
you lost a lot of weight brother!
Mushrooms for sure help, Tasmanian and Blue meanies are gas
Read the god damn book chasing the scream.
Wheres the other interviewer
*reads the title* "My Relationship With Darkness" *thinks of 15 year old emo/goth girl*
Or wannabe 14 year old Billie Eilish fans
Title is changed lol
@@Vyngraven they probably saw my comment lol
@@DavidNwokoye same thing
about the same mentality.
My guy Jesse bringing up the facts of marajuna bs it’s elegal
Wow, surprising. Didn’t expect that from Mr. Leach, especially since he professes to be a Christian. No judgement, I agree with him, but still surprised
Squazzoo68 when has he ever said that?
Squazzoo68 also what’s not Christian about what he said
He's never professed to being Christain, only spiritual.
Help me jesse
Depresion will eat u alive gota stay strong music has a healing power so douse mushroom micro dose
hes from RI...if youve never been there you wont understand the significance of psychodelics...lil Rhody is the best!
You guys seriously had to put black tape over the Marshall & Ampeg logos?
I wouldnt advertise for multimillion dollar companies without compensation either.
@@brandongreene3213 with 1.1 million subscribers I think loudwire could have contacted both of those companies and said. Hey we need some gear to set up in this interview room. I think it's a missed opportunity. That's all I'm saying.
I agree entirely. However if they dont want to cough up some dough, or free products at the very least, I totally get it. Plus the whole Gibson lawsuit is putting everyone on edge, especially when the artist involved in this segment is talking about using controlled substances. I completely agree it's stupid though.
@@brandongreene3213 You are totally right.
Drugs are not the answer for me but I can otherwise relate to the struggle
I never thought of Jesse as one to do shrooms or anything like that, i guess if he's controlling his intake and using it just as medicine that's good but I'm really surprised he would turn to psychedelics at all.
Michael Carson then I guess you don’t really know him
@@Demigodking nope I guess I don't :(
Jesse dyed his mohawk?! He is a gamer. RISE UP!
all meat diet has helped me a lot with bi polor
My mushroom experiences created my social anxiety
While I agree with him that it's a strength being able to talk about your mental problems, calling people who have difficulties doing so cowards, isn't very smart.
Niels Ole Nørgaard is he wrong though
Is he wrong by calling people who are struggling mentally cowards?! Yes, of course he is wrong! Don't kick someone when they are down! You won't encourage people, who have a hard time being able to talk about their mental problems, to do so, by calling them cowards! You encourage those people to talk about their problems, by showing them love and compassion, and that there's nothing dangerous or embarrassing about talking about their mental problems. This should be obvious! It's scary that it isn't for some people!
I agree. I don't have mental illness, but I deal with depression (not severe) and social anxiety. I've never brought it up due to a mix of being judged and not thinking it's necessary to bring up.
I'm a fan of Jesse and KsE, but calling people cowards for not having the courage to talk about it is a bit of a weak cop-out statement.
Yeah that's not on. Maybe they are still climbing the mountain that he has already reached the peak of and simply just haven't got there yet. Punching downwards never helps, especially if you've been there.
My music taste will scare you hehe
His Mohawk is off center and its bothering me more than it should....
bruh i love KSE and Jesse Leach’s vocals and lyrics but we get it man you have your problems. we all do. the constant conversation about it dilutes the potency of the music and the lyrics. id let it speak for itself mostly. im not saying its not an important issue it obviously is but the constant conversation and reminder i think has an adverse effect.
What a dick thing to say! Expressing your pain through an artistic medium is one of the best releases you can get, plus is creates empathy with people who are listening to the music and may be going through the same things. You are basically telling him to sweep his issues under the rug becasue it bothers you in some small way. That's like telling a homeless person to move on becasue the sight of them makes the street look untidy. Consider yourself a piece of shit.
Syklone i thought my comment was pretty well spoken and respectful, i even started it off with a compliment. just because i have an opinion you dont like doesnt make me a piece of shit. if you had any critical thinking skills i very clearly in white UA-cam text said to leave it to the music and let it speak for itself. this is like the 5th interview promoting the album where he talks about his issues. how can you expect people to be happy when you spam them with videos about your mental illness? its all there in his lyrics and its great stuff. id just leave it at that.
Greater interviewer . Keep using him as much as possable. Also cocaine is "natural, a seed you put in the ground" too. So I've never understood that arguement but I think pot and mushrooms are alright since theyre pretty much nonlethal and LESS addictive.
J Shankle
Cocaine is not natural. Coca leaves are, sure. But cocaine is processed heavily.
Jesse lay off the adderall
Ur a fukin dumbass lol.
@@Instant.Classic.B.R. I am but he still needs to lay off the orange footballs
Not afraid of a small mushroom that grows out of the ground?
Pholiotina rugosa - hold my hat while I end this man's career.
Drugs are bad, mmmmmkay
Jesse looks thin...
Looking good... that beer belly is gone.
Jesse Leach is woke.
Thankfully not in the indoctrinated marxist sense of the word.
22 indoctrinated people disliked this video. So far.
