Luxury shopping in London is great, especially shopping at Gucci, Dior, Chanel & Louis Vuitton!! You never know what you'll find on a luxury shopping spree!! I love the new Bottega Veneta Teen Pouch in chlorophyll and my dream Fendi Peekaboo Mini with the embroidered flowers!! Another highlight was the Louis Vuitton Micro Alma - they still don't have any Louis Vuitton Nano Speedy models in stock. Stay tuned for my luxury shopping haul next week - can you guess what items I bought? Maybe something from Dior - a Dior Saddle Bag, a Dior Book Tote or another Lady Dior - what do we think about the new Dior Toujours Bag? I'm in love with the micro Lady Dior!! Or maybe some Dior jewellery? I've been collecting many Dior jewelry pieces for some time now, especially Dior earrings!! I'm also a sucker for Chanel earrings and Chanel jewellery in general!! Go for it! In my experience, metallic leathers with more gloss wear worse than more matte leathers. It's like matte lipstick and glossy lipstick. You'd use matte lipstick for everyday and glossy for special occasions.
No, learn from your previous experience and stay away from metallic or at least get a more affordable version. Most of the price tag actually goes for the brand anyway. It's ain't worth it! 😅
It’s a lovey bag the silver Sardine but I think you will have issues with the wearing of the leather. Just airing on the side of caution. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year Romina. ❤

Hi Romina! I loved 💕the LV Alma in epi leather and the pink Gucci coat was gorgeous on you especially with your new Chanel handbag. I’m really not sure about the metallic Jodi Sardine handbag it’s stunning but l would be worried you would have issues with it.🤔But the very dark green Sardine bag is beautiful too and green is my favorite color especially with the gold hardware. Oohhh some real beauties you have shared… just fabulous! Oh my..I love the silver metallic Sardine .. it’s fabulous! But. My opinion. As much as I love metallic finishes and this silver metallic finish is stunning.. I don’t know whether I would be quick to buy another.. especially at a premium price point..I would be very disappointed and annoyed if the metallic finish cracked or faded out . As you say.. the fact they would not offer the certificate is very telling ..but go with your heart as always Romina 😘

What did you do about the silver Sardine? I think I would leave it- it´s too expensive to take the risk of the leather cracking... instead if I were you and loved purple I´d have bought the Lanvin bag and put the money saved towards the Gucci coat that suited you so well.

It's quite simple really. It's metallic and you've had experience with metallic problems and you weren't happy. So don't buy it and just put it out of your mind and wait for the dark green one which will come with the certificate. Btw i wanted to see what the clothing prices were in the frock me event.

Liebe Romina, ich finde das Cracken von Metallic-Leder, gerne auch in Knitteroptik, überhaupt nicht schlimm, bin ich da die Einzige? Liebe dieses Leder genau wie Du, aber eben neben dem Glanz und der Haptik unter anderem deswegen, weil es so unkompliziert und strapazierfähig ist. Regen, Knicke, Flecken, Kratzer, Cracking stören mich auf der metallischen Oberfläche überhaupt nicht, sie fallen weniger auf und darunter befindet sich ja echtes Leder, Ausnahme Chanel!? Ich gebe zu, es kommt ein wenig darauf an, ob das Leder unter der metallischen Schicht gefärbt oder ungefärbt ist, bei Schwarz oder dunkleren Farben sieht es ungefärbt darunter tatsächlich nicht immer so schön aus, bei Silber wäre es mir wirklich egal... Silber und Nude, eine tolle Farbkombi! Ansonsten sage ich mir immer, das soll so❣️ Früher hätte ja auch niemand freiwillig zerrissene Jeans getragen und es gibt genug Designer, die das für viel Geld genauso abgeschrabbelt haben wollen 😂 Glaube auch, dass Cracking oder zumindest unvermeidbare Dellen am Henkel der Sardine quasi einkalkuliert sind, da ja der Henkel höchst vorausschauend schon entsprechend vintage designed wurde und es eben bei Metallic auch keine Garantie gibt. This bag is a real piece of art❣️ Lass' dein Herz bei der Kaufentscheidung sprechen❣️ Alles+Liebe 😘❤️❣️

Great to know there are certain products included in the lifetime guarantee. But honestly, I think it's totally bullshit & unacceptable. If you spend a lot of money on a product, they should provide free aftercare repair if it's damaged. Other cheaper brand stores like Kmart, Target etc, provide better policies than these luxury stores. What a joke!

It certainly does sound like they know that their metallics are a problem but having said that, metallic bags are notorious for issues, no matter the designer, unfortunately.
It would be nice to know that it was covered and I think that will be where problems lie as the consumer will not always be aware as to whether it’s covered or not.
My honest opinion on wether to get it is that after the problems that you had with your Jodie I wouldn’t dive into another metallic one just yet from them but if it’s giving you that true excitement then just go for it
I do think that you will find a colour that truly makes your heart sing soon enough 🐟
