Thanks again to Western Rise for sponsoring this video! It's not often I find a willing sponsor that I actually jive with, so I'm stoked to have them supporting the channel. If you want to support me, support the brands that do the same! Check 'em out at westernrise.com/TDMStyle and get yourself a sexy pair of pantaloons!
Currently my favorite products are Firsthand supply clay pomade, Daimon Barber Texture clay, Arcadian Matte Paste, the new Lockhart’s Goon Grease unorthodox water based pomade and Crystal Lake pomade because of the way they all style in my hair.
Hey Mat, I know I am commenting on a relatively "Old" video now. But, was wondering what the best prestyler/blow dry and post styler combination you would recommend. I believe our hair is very similar in the course wavy nature. I usually keep mine at about the length you have now maybe a tad longer due to this. I have 25 spray and typically use that before blow dry. But was wondering, Would you recommend 25 Spray + Amity, or 25 Spray + Black Water, or 25 Spray + Crafted Power Cream? I like the idea of having a great foundation to not have to use to much post styler. I know this is a layered question, lol maybe a good idea for a video? Thanks again for all the information and help. Trying to avoid buying all of these products to see which one works best for me.. but Maybe that is the answer... haha
Hello Matt, Have you come across a sea salt/texture spray that provides a strong enough hold it can be used on its own (after blow drying)? Medium hold or higher.
Closest thing with that much hold for me has been the Crafted Power Cream. It's not a sea salt spray, but provides similar texture and with really strong hold.
Hey Matt, love your videos! Was wondering how you think I should use SR american gardens in my dense but fine hair? I'm tryna use it as a clay pomade where I apply it in damp hair, comb through, and then put on a hair band and let it air dry (I like the texture that gives me) Do you think applying it like that would give the effects of an OB clay, like would it style like an OB clay (remain soft throughout the day) but stay matte because it's one of the driest clays?
Thanks! I mean it was verrry dry for me, so I don’t know if it would work the way you’re looking for. If you want a WB that works like an OB try Flagship heavy clay
Congrats on the long overdue sponsorship! Man you gotta convince him to bring Hustle back. I cannot believe it got discontinued. Such a great product 😢

Congrats with the sponser! Nice line up bro! My go to is either combo crafted cream/amity spray, or byvilain seasalt foam.
Thanks so much! Yeah those are good choices.
So glad to see the summer favorites!! Thank you! 😁
Cool hairstyle, I’m gonna try copying it😉
Go for it! I'm loving it so much

I will always enjoy your videos man! Also from one thicc hair boi to another would you recommend Fuertes or Flagship products ?
Both honestly, I’ve been alternating between them a LOT lately haha
Great to see you behind the bar again! You sure packed a lot of good info into this favorites video.
Cheers!
I'm finally using Amity spray. So goooood
Yeah Amity is great. I probably would have included it here but I gave mine away to a friend haha

I 100% bought a pair of pants. That was the funniest sponsorship ad I've ever seen.
I really appreciate the support! 🙏🏻

Thanks! And yeah I know, I'm sad about Hustle too ;~;
Do you use finasteride to prevent hair loss? If not, why would you not want to use it ? :)
Nah. I have no reason to use it.
@@TDMStyle are you sure? Because ur hair looks recessed, no hate or anything i was just was wondering
Literally the same hairline I’ve had forever lol

Maybe you should look into fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.
My hair already grows fast so I don’t personally need that, but if you’re looking for a review on a specific brand let me know!
Shouldn't I buy hair styling product that has paraffin in it ?
Paraffin is just a form of wax, so 🤷🏻♂️
You know what many people say here
If any product has a parent in it
Then throw it throw it in the volcano
What would you like to say those people
Sounds pretty silly to me.
You need a good tequila, I got chu mi amigo!
Coming in hot 🥵
You know that's right 🥴
