AHHH HE DIDN'TREACT TO THE MV! AND THE LIVE VERSION HAS CUT PARTS! Im mildly annoyed because the oyart they cut out of SOE (the second song) actually explains why the story is so tragic and so loved. Spoilers! In the first song, we are told that the evil princess dies. In the second song, it's revealed that her twin actually told her to switch clothes with him and run away, and he is offering to die in her stead, and it's foreshadowed because they make a point of mentioning how similar the twins looked. It's why rin comes back out during servant of evil's climax, it's because she's watching him get executed while posing as rin. It's what makes the story so sad. Rin and len, seperated at a young age, yet when time came they barely knew each other, hell Rin didn't even know len was her twin up until his death, but len still traded his life for her's anyway. Fun fact! A cut part in daughter of evil reveals that even before he gave his life for hers, he was willing to give everything else too. Killing his first love upon rin's orders, spending his lofe ss her servant, caring for her, amongst others. It's a tragic story, and rin doesn't even learn who this loyal servant is until they're switching clothes and sending len off to die. Another fun fact! Meiko (the mercenary in red who leads the insurrection against rin) is heavily implied to know that rin and len switched. (At least in the novel) and yet len convinced her to go through with it anyway. The people need a head to pike and with how long len waited in the jail cell, rin could be anywhere now. Daughter of evil is the POV of the people suffering under her wrath. Servant of evil is the pov of the twin brother who gave his life for her. Regret message is Rin's pov after the shitshow passes. Another sad fact, Rin wasn't even fully in control of her actions. There are demons in this world, and she was under the influence of the demon of pride. Literally everything in the world came together to spite rin and len.
This is part of a bigger universe, covering other songs who's titles i cant remember, i temember one using gakupoid though, when he was under demon of lust, (the madness of duke of venomania... i think?) but not much else. I know someone dedicated a song towards the commoner of green miku before her death and one towards the prince of blue kaito and mercenary of red meiko each, but I can't remember their titles. All in all this is a sad, sad universe to live in, no matter where or who you are.

Very late but I'll clarify that the story these two songs are a part of is LONG. And also incredibly complicated. Basically- the two twins in these are named Riliane Lucifen D'Autriche and Alexiel Lucifen D'Autriche/Allen Avadonia. There is some important backstory to the two of them coming from before they were born but to put it very simply- they were supposed to be the reincarnation of a pair of twins that had unleashed the seven deadly sins into the world, however, due to some interference, that was unable to happen. They actually have a half sister named Ney who is the reincarnation of one of the original twins, however, her brother failed to be reborn. When Riliane and Allen were children their father died in battle and had declared Allen to be his successor. However, one day Riliane and Allen went to the beach where they found a box containing the Four Mirrors of Lucifenia (a powerful object containing the demons of pride and gluttony). Allen ends up befriending the demon of gluttony, however, the demon possesses Riliane. When Riliane finds out that Allen was to be the sole successor to the throne, she starts becoming upset with him and ultimately ends up having the demon of gluttony exorcised from her, leaving her with severe amnesia. Around this time there was also an assassination attempt on Allen which ended with him being put into hiding with one of the countries heroes, Leonhart Avadonia. Allen proceeds to grow up there alongside his foster sister Germaine Avadonia (who is actually the descendant of the demon of gluttony) With Allen gone, Riliane is made the successor to the throne and at her mother's funeral, Ney gifts her the one of the mirrors of Lucifenia, getting her possessed by the demon of pride in the process. Later after their mother's death, Allen begins working at the palace as a servant, Riliane having forgotten him as a result of the exorcism. However, she takes a liking to him due to how similar they look. When Riliane's displays of opulence (spurred by the demon of pride) began getting unreasonable, Leonhart tried to speak out about it. This enraged Riliane and she decided to have Allen assassinate him, which he does out of loyalty to his sister. For a lot of this, Riliane is actually engaged to a man named Kyle Marlon who is a foreign king, however, he ends up falling in love with another woman and breaks of the engagement (the woman he left Riliane for, named Michaela, actually didn't love him and was actually in love with her best friend, a canonical lesbian). Riliane becomes enraged and orders a genocide of all the women who look like the woman she was left for, ultimately ending in Michaela being killed and Allen taking the blame for it, despite Ney actually being the perpetrator. Following the genocide, a revolution begins where Allen switches clothes with Riliane. She doesn't understand why and is thankful for everything he's done for her. Allen then reveals that they are twins and to keep her from telling everyone that she is the real Riliane as she has made peace with her death, he locks her in her bedroom and masquerades as her so that he'll be executed in her place. After Allen takes her place, Riliane is forced to flee and ends up at a monastery where she eventually became so overwrought with guilt for everything she'd done that she went into the confessional and confessed her crimes, which was overheard by one of the nuns, Clarith. Clarith was actually Michaela's best friend and later lover and finding out that she had allowed the girl responsible for her death into the monastery causes her to fly into a rage. Later that night, Riliane attempts to use a legend Allen told her as comfort by writing a wish in a bottle and throwing it into the sea. While she is doing this, Clarith prepared to stab her from behind. Riliane noticed her and was willing to accept her fate, but Clarith spared her. Afterwards, Riliane became a nun and lived until she was 75.

It’s called “Last Knight Battle” and it’s by Hitoshizuku x Yama! It’s a top tier song, by a top tier producer, with a top tier Vocaloid named Meiko! This certain producer is making a good vs. evil album (and this is supposed to be the partner song of “It’s a Dragon Party” ft. Hatsune Miku)! As for which one is the “good” song and which one is the “evil” song, he always leaves up to interpretation. Lol
