Yeaaah... No. Sure, she could look the part very well, but she proved time after time that she is not a good actress. Yennefer is a very demanding part, otherwise she'd end up just being a basic rude bitch and I don't see Kristen could do it any justice.
I was around 13 when Twilight became a huge thing but wasn't part of the hype. I remember her getting so much hate for being "emotionless" and being the butt of so many jokes but seeing this I have no idea what they were talking about. Seems like she's always been a nice person
EDIT: I'm talking about hate for her as a person, that didn't seem to be directed at her acting
Well I mean the acting in the movie was super stiff and wooden but I think a lot of people have come to the conclusion that it was because of the material and not so much the actors/actresses.
Both her and Pattinson have gone on to show that they have actual talent. Twilight is just something that you either love or absolutely hate. I personally laugh at how insanely corny the movies are, but the hate towards them is a bit much sometimes.
@@QTEEP Yeah, I think it's probably more to do with the vision of the director and author of the books that made the acting corny lol. Robert is a great actor! Great in The King and Remember Me! Other than the Twilight movies and The Messengers, I haven't seen much of Kristen's work that explores serious acting. With all that said, I do have to say that the Twilight Saga is a guilty pleasure of mine lol! I honestly think the soundtrack is the main reason for my fondness of those movies lmao.

I saw her for first time in the movie "into the wild", I thought she did a good job on her small role.
So many haters in this thread. Imagine having major anxiety and being an introvert in front of millions of people. You'd probably be a bit stiff as well.
That's odd. Maybe they all got downvoted to oblivion but I'm mostly just seeing comments about how beautiful and charming she is.
As a person with intense social anxiety, I recognized exactly what she must have been feeling. People act like celebrities are always outgoing and love the attention. Sometimes they're mostly in it for the art, and the fame can be overwhelming. I love her, and she's grown a lot of confidence since this interview. 💜
If that’s true then she sure did pick the wrong profession to get into.

@@VSaccount The channel name can be anything and owned by TBS. It depends on contracts and logistics. Like all videos are TBS branded at the moment and usually companies don’t like sharing.

@@ecMonify I didn’t even watch the sequel cause I knew Kristen wasn’t in it, and her character Snow White was my favourite! But from what I’ve seen with clips and information online about the sequel I HATE what they did with the story. The whole plot line with Ravenna randomly having a sister and Finn just being completely forgotten about, the exciting dark and gritty fantasy tone from SWATH changing to a boring childlike fantasy, and The Huntsman not even ending up with Snow White! If the cheating scandal hadn’t have happened, the sequel would have been amazing, with Kristen and Rupert returning. 😩😩😩
No she sucked at all her roles up until she let lose after her scandal with the director for that movie.
I watched it for the story about his mom and Kristen genuinely laughing at the story.

This is why she is one of my fav American actress… she’s so herself and I have anxiety too so when I first saw her way back in like 2005 and watched her in interviews she resembled myself lol I think she’s an INTP too. When you see her recent interviews though (late 20s) she talks more comfortably and doesn’t seem to be as nervous as she was in her late teens and early 20s. I think from all the fame and experience she had over the years she doesn’t seem to be anxious anymore. I look up to her a lot
@@jugg9140 she loves to act. That’s her profession. It doesn’t matter if you are extremely shy and an introvert. She can be like this in interviews… but that’s just her. She doesn’t hide it and that’s what I love about her. This interview was like so many years ago. If you look at her recent ones she talks so differently and seems to be more confident :)

Love Conan, him and Craig Ferguson are my absolute favourite American tv hosts! They really know how to talk to people and make them feel as comfortable as they can! If a joke doesn't land, conan builds on it and finds a way to make it funny! Never any awkwardness! He's always so humble it makes him very attractive and lovable! He always comes across very genuine.

She's there to fulfill a specific purpose...to politely answer Conan's questions and for PR, all of which she did more than ok succeeding in. To put any other expectation on her is well beyond unreasonable. Not to mention typical. She's the guest appearance, it's not her job to be funny. That's Conan's job, and lucky for us he's a master at comedy.
