Hot Ones is low-key a generational interview series that tops almost any conventional media outlet, which feature interviewers and questions that, as Kristen pointed out, are utterly dispassionate and disingenuous. When you share in an endeavor like surviving hot wings while being asked thoughtful questions that require research and effort, guest open up more and you get a better sense of who they are as people. This show has opened up classically misunderstood people like Shia and Kristen and I fucking love it.
She gets a ton of hate, but I freaking love Kristen. She is both exceedingly articulate and awkward at the same time. She's so normal but extraordinary.
I legit just tweeted about how much respect I have for her ability to stay chill, down to earth and totally relatable in the face of her fame and ALL of the shit that's been said at and about her. And this episode is such a good representation of that.
She also is so overhated as an actress. Twilight wasn't her fault at all, that's on the writers and poor directing. She has done good performances in other movies. Give her a good script and director, she could act very well
This is such a fascinating study of an uncomfortable guest and a really skilled interviewer. From the first moment when she deflects his question, all the way through... this show deserves a lot more attention than it already gets.
yeah its like being partners in a project with someone who’s a bitch, makes you wanna give that same energy back to them. but if their chill, kind and have good intentions you can just get through it with ease

Must've crushed you when she cheated on him irl, was the cause of their breakup, they had to act like they were in love in the movies after all that happened
Sean has had complement after complement how's the quality of his interviews. This is exactly how they should be done. I think the added bonus is the wings but I actually do come here for the interview.

@vampirezerotwo I was joking you jackwagon. Please explain his point for him then lmao. So celebs are somehow judges of hot things? Celebs opinions about Sean make him a badass?? Please explain. Millions of people watch these and comment on how Sean is a beast with hot things, but those aren't celebs so they don't count.
Sean is one of the best interviewers hands down. He has the ability to draw out such genuine responses from his guests, even before they start melting from the inside.
She portrayed Bella as she is in the book - the complete opposite of chill. A lot of people have the inability to distinguish actors from their characters. She gets a lot of hate for Twillight but none of the haters actually bother to look at the source material. Look at her in The Runaways (2010) and the last Twillight (2011), she was already amazing and cool as Joan Jett but completely different as Bella.
The hot wings are such a great idea for an interview gimmick, honestly. It breaks down barriers. It's hard to be fake when your mouth is on fire, and you know the next one is even worse. Sean started basically from nothing as an interviewer, too, so he was genuine from the get-go, and nothing has really changed over the years, just refinement of the formula.
I could watch and listen to Kristen all day. She's so cool. Amazing what she's accomplished in her short life...I don't think she gets enough credit for how talented she is.

@star she played it well, she's awkward often in interviews she got that covered in this one also from what she was saying seemed like she saw couple of interviews before doing the show ,i have been watching it for a while da bomb gets everyone worse and she took smallest bite of that
What impressed me the most was the interviewer's ability to create a comfortable and open environment, allowing for a candid and insightful conversation whilst eating hot food!!. The questions went beyond the surface level, delving into the nuances of the actor's experiences, skills, and thought processes.
She hit it right on the head when she said that he is a very well researched interview(er). That is my favorite thing about these "interviews" he asks questions that make the interviews more meaningful and you learn much more about them as a person than the typical interview.
I love, love, love that the consistent message across almost all Hot Ones guest is a genuine appreciation for the high quality of Sean's interview questions and research.

She totally seems like the coolest person ever!
I find her likable and all but I think didn't really answer first few questions, she just kept on rambling and it lead nowhere 😅 no hate, I do the same but I'm not sure I'd call myself eloquent in those moments 😂
@Z Z well said !!

What a lovely and accurate commentary on this awesome show. Hot Ones has one of the least-toxic comment sections for sure

Give her a good script and director, she could act very well
I really enjoyed Kristen's episode of Hot Ones. She was very cool and entertaining

Sean is a great host. He makes people feel comfortable.
Sean is one of the best interviewers hands down. He has the ability to draw out such genuine responses from his guests, even before they start melting from the inside.
She’s just the sweetest and coolest. She’s very bright.
She literally glowed up. I felt like in Twilight or her early films, she was still trying to find herself. She’s so chill.
Yeah she was still young and figuring herself out. Now she seems totally at ease with herself and it just makes her so much more attractive
She portrayed Bella as she is in the book - the complete opposite of chill. A lot of people have the inability to distinguish actors from their characters. She gets a lot of hate for Twillight but none of the haters actually bother to look at the source material. Look at her in The Runaways (2010) and the last Twillight (2011), she was already amazing and cool as Joan Jett but completely different as Bella.
i think she has major constipation problems :D

The hot wings are such a great idea for an interview gimmick, honestly. It breaks down barriers. It's hard to be fake when your mouth is on fire, and you know the next one is even worse. Sean started basically from nothing as an interviewer, too, so he was genuine from the get-go, and nothing has really changed over the years, just refinement of the formula.
