How did they sound? I looked in your video list but didn’t see a review of them hooked up. Would you buy again or are they junk? Either way thank you for this video .
They sound good. Alot better than cheaper ones like Pyle. I would buy again. If I could buy again I would do 4 x 8" instead of the 2 x 6.5" 2 x 8" setup I have. I thought the 8" would have more bass that overrides the voice but that's not the case. 6.5's don't have much bass at all. Best I've heard onelakes and trails would be wet sounds. But way out of my budget. This was a good reasonable substitute.
James Tijerina have you compared any others to yours. I know the wet sounds are a little pricey. But say these VS kickers. Your the only person I have seen with these, and I have always had soundstream and kicker equipment over the years on my boat.
@@jamestijerina2787 I bought a pair since they have been deeply discounted on crutchfiled right now due to being discontinued. I hooked them up to an amp that was capable of pushing full power to them and for the price we were not disappointed I agree they could use more base, but in the boat their is a sub to help offset that so my only real complaint was the swivel mount. I think the real solution is to find where you want them then drill the mount so you can run a bolt all they was through.
Shawn Henderson thanks Shawn, I actually have been debating buying a few to hang off the back of my boat. I don’t want to invest a lot because my boat sits on the water all summer and there seem to be thieves in NY. I just want a decent sound off the back in the water. You had problems with the swivel mounts? Would you have tried another brand. The rest of my boat is Polk Audio, but they don’t make a 8”
Did they replace the mount? If so who did you contact?
Yes they did. I contacted who I bought them from with pictures and they made me send it to them and they replaced it with another.
