How many times did you post every day Joe to get that growth? For a new theme page, do you need to sort of warm the page up in terms of Instagram thinking you’re spammy? Or is it safe to post up to 3x daily on a new account ?
I would use the account like normal without posting for 3-7 days then start to post 1-2 times per day for a week or 2 and then go to 3

About curating your feed, will this affect the algorithm? Like, does Instagram automatically assume you are what you consume? Or it's just for inspiration?
I'm in the comedy/entertainment niche, so I actually don't take inspiration from people in my niche, the whole point of my page is being different.

However I would even say still try to curate your feed. Even if you don’t want to take inspiration for their jokes take inspiration for their edits as you may see things you had never thought about
