I’ve been trying to publish a video I created myself using only videos I recorded myself with my phone. Even the audio was something I recorded myself. Yet no matter what I do; removing the music, using a filter, swapping the clips around, adding captions in-app, using music from their library instead. I’ve tried 6-7 times now and each time it gets flagged as unoriginal. I don’t know what to do anymore 😩
It’s very stupid because CapCut templates were made for it to be used and uploaded to TikTok. What’s the point of them having a relationship with CapCut, that enables you to boost your videos onto TikTok if it’s going to keep getting flagged?

@@P2willcome it seems the best advise I can give is to use less popular clips. It should reduce the likely hood of the video getting flagged as unoriginal. At least that’s what I’ve been doing. Though I can’t guarantee this will work, its worked out pretty well for me so far.

If AI detects we've "repurposed" content (yes, even our own), it is likely it will be striked. Had a huge content creator reach 24 violation points and it took several months for him to get his own account back. He's sold over 250K worth of items on Tiktok and decided to repurpose his own content and that is what happened to him. He just recently got it back. As far as your own watermark, I have been hit with unoriginal strike for using my own, as well. It seems that everyone is having their own experiences though. Proceed with caution if ppl are telling you that it is safe. What is safe today may turn out to not be later and you can get hit with retroactive strikes, as well. Worst part about retroactive strikes are that you are not eligible to appeal since the appeal time frame has passed. I appealed and had it approved, only to have the same strike come up well after the timeline to appeal (same thing again). I am only sharing my own experience on this, though. Take it or leave it, just had to add it in...

I used free stock videos from canva and get unoriginal content strikes, next I try delete it and try make new content (not using any videos from youtube or any stock videos) but still the sampe topic and still get unoriginal content strikes.
It’s because it’s not to do with it being “stock” or not. If it has been used on tiktok before which free stock footage will have been then tiktok tend to see it as unoriginal
Deleting videos would hurt your stats and the algo. Of course you can, but that's probably not the best course of action. If you private the videos, that may work out better, in the long run. just saying

You can re-upload the same clip, even if it's on the same account, you'll still get an unoriginal violation. This is the same for the affiliate program as well

@@Angelina_abdallah a friend told me that its to do with how large your file size is when you upload an edit and that you should keep it small and compressed so that tiktok doesn't have to compress it for you - which helps them also detect unoriginal content

You can re-upload the same clip, even if it's on the same account, you'll still get an unoriginal violation. This is the same for the affiliate program as well

@@Angelina_abdallah a friend told me that its to do with how large your file size is when you upload an edit and that you should keep it small and compressed so that tiktok doesn't have to compress it for you - which helps them also detect unoriginal content
