Ok I think I followed this one better than watching on the bag. But here at beginning u chained 4 only .. in bag u made that long chain out the side of bag and worked into that chain. Was this one chaining 4 only for a sample piece for vid? I still get pretty lost on the bag part lol but think I can understand a bit more watching this. 😊 Still not sure I can make the bag this way lol so I think I’ll be happier when U come up the other way for the boxed bag base 😉 Thanks again hun. 💜🙏🏻💜🙏🏻💜🙏🏻💜🙏🏻💜🙏🏻💜
I think the long chain you're referring to is actually the 9 foundation single crochet. I show how to do that briefly at the beginning of the bag tutorial, I think it is around the 4 minute mark. Thank you so much for taking the time to view the stitch tutorial, I'm glad it helped a little.🤗🥰
Distinctive Crochet Ya it was the foundation chain. Is that called a single crochet foundation chain? See I have actually never done a foundation chain before. I have always just chained then went back with sc stitches. I’ll have to practice this sometime too. It’s always looked hard to me to do that’s why I never attempted it. 😔 Can u do this foundation chain with a dc too or hdc? Do u have tutorials for these separately in ur vids? Thanks again hun. 🙏🏻 💜🌻💜🌻💜🌻💜🌻💜🌻💜
@@KrissD. It's called Foundation single crochet. I have you do this in the tutorial so that you can extend the stitches out and then work back on the right side of the fabric. Yes there are foundation stitches for all the stitches. I have the foundation double crochet mesh stitch. It's just like the double crochet except I have you chain one in between the stitches. If you can ignore the chain one part, than it's just like the Foundation double crochet here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/WlfLDspGuco/v-deo.html The main thing to know about the foundation stitches is that you make the chain as you make the stitch.🤗🥰
Thanks so much for sharing you made it easy to do 😊
