I had NO IDEA he had cancer... Him and Jon were my absolute favorite part of 8 out of 10 cats does countdown. His series 15 storeys high was just great and an underrated show. There is only a handful of comedians who can genuinely make me laugh, and Sean was one of them. He will definitely be missed... RIP

0. Great episode, but James Acaster jokes about Rich's thinly-veiled tweets (I didn't verify whether they exist) and Stew googling himself were hilarious. 1. Stew is a great comedian, and he is still one of the very best, but I don't understand why he's decided that he doesn't like Richard anymore. It's too immature and stupid. He should ask to get on RHLSTP to promote his film (King Rocker). It's completely silly that he's suddenly appearing on every obscure podcast in the world except the one hosted by his old comedy partner. 2. I was thrilled when Richard won Taskmaster, and I hope he does more TV as a panelist/participant. 3. The one place where I assume I agree with Stew (re. Richard) is that I think Richard is perhaps spreading himself a bit too thin and hasn't been honing/crafting/polishing/refining his stand-up shows as much as he could. The ideas for Richard's shows are often great, and I think with more work perhaps some of them can be turned into masterpieces. -- On a separate note: when Richard started releasing "Retro RHLSTP", my astonishment kept growing week-by-week when the Prof. Mary Beard episode failed to appear. Finally, it came out a few weeks ago. I hope she makes it back to RHLSTP again soon, and I hope some more non-comedians (e.g., Prof. Andrew George) are also invited. -- Sorry for the long comment and I hope I haven't offended anyone.
I totally apply myself to stand up shows and put an awful lot of work into them and hone them over the tour as well. If you don't like them by the end of that then it's not due to lack of me trying. I think they're pretty good myself, but 1000s of hours of work go into each one. The internet stuff is nearly all improvised so that's a different matter.
You just don't know how to handle a sack of ferrets. Follow the ferret soothing guidelines and they'll be so calm you essentially have a sack of large hairy hotdogs.
