This series is a lets play featuring Master of Magic a remake of the Classic Civ like game where you control a Wizard plotting to cast the spell of mastery to take over the world. Through the Myrror is the first gameplay expansion for this version of the game.

Just starting playing this game Yesterday for the first in any iteration, and I am hooked. Looking forward to following this let's play for some insights into the mechanics.

It is so great to hear that there will be more updates! I love MoM, but classic misses so many features. They could learn a couple of things from Age of Wonders and Caster of Magic mod.
Yes it's really good news. I'd love to see the new devs push this game beyond a simple esthetic remake.
@@Huntanor I hope, changes - if any are planned - will be released as optional dlc. There are enough fans of classic MoM who do not want to see any changes in their beloved game. I really love changes and improvements, but I guess they should be optional.
@@user-ft6km5rr9n if you havent heard they added 2 more new wizards , 1 more magic class (techmagic) + its spells, and a new race that are mechanical
Re: towns turning into ruins: if it's like the original game, then it won't always happen. There's a (hidden) die roll when you lose a town to monsters.
Yeah, must be. I've probably just forgotten, lol. It didn't happen a single time in my first two playthroighs of this version.
MOM 1994 i think it's the best game of the two! i really don't like the paper UI. and the nostalgic feeling of the 19994 master of magic.
