- New Glocks demand a new video!
Lenny does a deep dive into the new Glock 43X and the Glock 48. These new shooters are creating quite a stir in the shooting community… especially the Concealed Carry aficionados!
The Glock 43X is our Item #7938 and if can be found here: www.glockstore.com/Glock-43X-9mm
The Glock 48 is our Item #7940 and if can be found here: www.glockstore.com/Glock-48-9mm - Навчання та стиль
Every time I hear Lenny’s voice, I swear he could say, “ bottom of the ninth, bases loaded, full count, swung on, it’s a hard hit to center field, it’s it’s it’s gone, out of here, home run, what a shot folks and that’s the game.
Lenny sounds like Howard Stern
I think he sold shamwell as seen on tv
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cringe

I recently purchased a 48 and I honestly loved the way it felt in my hand, knew right away it was the one for me
Picked up the 48. Real nice pistol, I highly recommended for everyday carry.
43x is really getting great reviews, good job Glock.
Thanks, Lenny, for another very informative video. I am a big fan of your videos, and have purchased several of them for my collection, from gunsmithing the 1911, to ballistics and reloading, to Glocks, and others. Thanks again for all you do in the firearms world.
It's awesome video. Thank you Lanny.
Thanks Lenny, great info and great video
As ALWAYS
I just bought a G43x (Night Sight Version) - Shoots Great.....300 Rounds
of Blazer Brass with no malfunctions and good tight group. Grip feels good and the light weight makes it nice for a CCW pistol.
I could listen to this dude talk Glocks all day
Good morning Lenny
Thanks very much, I enjoyed this info
Wow.... blew my mind with the tip for the slide sticking on reassembly. Years I have been confused as to why it has happened all the time to me. Thanks for the tip lol.
And just got my 48 and am very pleased.
To me the 48 felt natural in my hands. The 43x felt like a toy gun in my hands. Purchased the 48 and now it’s my edc, replacing my g19, g17, g22. Got the shield arms s15 mags and it’s the best CC edc gun I own.
Got the 48 absolutely love it
I'm diggin the original 43"
Just a piece of perfection.
With mag extension's I'm a happy camper.
Rock on GLOCK !
Great videos, keep them coming! Just got my Glock 48 w/ Factory NS yesterday!
In lieu of all the internet hype its good to see that your business is apparently still doing well in California Lenny...keep up the good work buddy..(.still enjoying my original Glock 43 btw)
I'm a new Canadian subscriber to your channel! Apart from our archaic gun laws up here, man I wish we could get the 43X here! But alas, we can't get handguns with barrels shorter than 106mm. Maybe will have to settle for the G48. Great videos; I've learned a lot!
Love these. Just got the 43x
awesome videos dude. i love my 43x
Thanks again Lenny.
Good news . Thanks
43x is a great gun, top 5 glock for sure!
Good job. I like my 43 for concealing.
I never liked the original G43 because of the short grip but I am really liking the G43X that longer grip and extra few rounds will make a huge difference I will have one soon
I just got one and I love it. Glock 48
Bought a G42 when they first came out. It's still my summer carry gun. But I added an extension to the magazine. I also own a 43X and a 48. They are a little bit more difficult to conceal. All three are great and dependable guns.
Lenny take the 48 slide and put it on the 43 making a 43L. It’s a great shooter. Trust me.
Thank you for the overview. My grip/hand is about 3.25 inches and I think 43X fits well for a good defense head shot.
Just got the 48 with night sights. Awesomeness!!
Thanks!
Excellent!!
I've got a G48 in my future!!
I love my 48, had both in my hands, the 48 was the one for me....
I bought the 48x frame for my 48 now I can have both in one.
Great video! I'm gonna pick up the g43x with amglo bold sights, I already have the holster coming in
I went in for a g19, held the 43x for the first time, and walked out with the 43x. Couldn't be happier, trigger is way better then my gen 3 g27.
Luke Escobedo are you still interested in the G19? I’m considering trading G26 for G48 and G42 for G19 to have all 9mm, less expensive, ammo. Now wondering if the G19 is really necessary.
@hylianknight3 did you get the Glock 43x with Ameriglo bold sights from glockstore or elsewhere? I can’t find anywhere local that has the 43x with Ameriglo bold sights and I don’t want to have to send a slide into Glock to have them install sights after and pay extra shipping costs. Please update me on the route you went/ will go. Thanks!
@@motorcyclezeal4813 hey bro, I picked one up at a local shop, although glockstore did have them in stock when I was buying it
I would like to see a comparison video of these two pistols to the xds 4.0 and the single stack kahr series with 4" barrels
Thank u
Love my 43x.. thinking about buying another
Great video
I think the 48 is a better choice. That’s why I got one.
@@Yahoo3435 Why?
Same here.
@@AugustZabladowski Glock took the 17 and 19, shrunk it. And came out the G48 4th Gen. Also offers a great balance of size, capacity. Excellent for concealed carry which you can’t with the 17 & 19.
I just picked up the 48 and it’s my first Glock and and I’m in LOVE. I definitely drank the koolaide and I’m a Glock guy now
@@javierbaron1856 you can't conceal carry a 17 or 19? Dude the 19 is the most commonly concealed carry gun in America
The Glock 48 certainly is a nice looking semi-auto! Also slide / barrel length is really not an issue for IWB or OWB carry except perhaps in the appendix position.
I want one but want all black slide you think they will make it in all black with traditional black slide
Lenny is the man !
Love my g43x mos.. What a gun.. Def best sub compact I believe. I think I need a 48mos just to have..
Just got the 43x in black w Ameriglo Spartan sights. Love it.
hunter frizzelle
That sounds good.
How did you get it with a black slide?
I ordered the 43x w black slide from the Glock store.... great customer service.
I still carry my 27 ..i do own a 42 witch i kinda do regret getting because of its not a 9mm and 380 is triple the price but its the smallest glock and its a little more easier to conceal than the 43
Are you planning on making after market 48 slides that can fit a 43 frame?
I was fully intending on buying a 43X, but I walked out of the gun shop with the 48...
Andrew Stewart walked in to buy a 19 (wasn’t dead set on it) and walked out with a 43x. Perfect for appendix carry in my 10-rd limit town :)
Same here lol with the shield arms flush for mag you get 15 rounds now
Same here 😂😂😂
Same here!11
Counterintuitively, a longer slide will conceal *better* if you appendix carry. Helps push the grip into your body, while a shorter side will allow the grip to flop outwards and print.
Why don’t you just wear a belt?
I had a Physical Therapist explain to me that our pinkie is 80% of our hand strength. The full grip just adds the pinkie. But it is so much harder to conceal!
Great video! Are legally owned firearms even allowed in CA?
The 43x they have on their website is that from the factory or did they cerakote it?
They should have done a version of the 43x to match the glock 19x fde slide and frame for collectors
They listening to you
The Glock 43 extended Mag release does not work on the 43x
My wife bought herself a G48 last year in the summer, she loves it.I haven't shot it yet,but I'm leaning towards a G43x or G43.I'm usually with a G19 or G26,we will see what happens.
Get the 48 if you like your 19 and 26 same length different GIRTH😂
i bought the last 43x at the store..dealer said they are hard to stock they out sell all models..as of sept 30 19
I just bought one today, the only one left in all of southwest Florida. One gun shop in Fort Myers got three in this morning and I bought the last one at 5pm. I chose the 43x over the 48
Hopefully one day I can get my 15 round for my 43x
Will my upgraded guide rod fit in the 43x ???
Will the +4 mag extension work on the 43x?
I have the 48. It’s like my Glock Commander
I just need the frame of that 43x and mag.
If you have a 43 and a 48 the slides are interchangeable so you can make a 43X or a 48X
How can I get that American flag rear part for my 43x?
Do the 48 and the 43X have the exact same length guide rod?
Is there going to be a 43x 80 percent frame?
Sense your in San Diego CA
is it legal to add rounds to your mag? Can I order a 15 round clip so I can have more rounds for plinking? Thx!
Do you ship to New Jersey
Come up with the longer 18 or 20 round single mag for the 43X/48
I own Glocks, I looked at a 48, many folks would like it. slim and 10 shots. May get one in the future.
What's the difference in the glk48 fs vs gns?
I could spend days & a fortune at Magills Glockstore.Your the man Lenny!
Is the black 43x a factory black version or do you guys just change the upper before shipping?
I ordered the black from glock store. I believe they take the silver slide and change it. Comes w matte black finish..... really nice and shows no prints.
do the mags still stick?
Where can i get the barrel and compensator for a 43x?
The 48 is preferred if you already have the 43, that way you can just make a 43X by switching the slides, as well as a "48L" which is basically a mini G34. So yeah 43x would be the last of the 3 I would purchase, and yet I wouldn't need to get it at all if you just have the 48 and 43, fun stuff
The 43 is more versatile than the 43x IMO. An extended mag gives me the longer grip advantage of the 43x, but I can swap out for the flush mag when clothing choices warrant the shorter grip. The 43x is always in “longer grip” mode.
Yeah, but the hump at the bottom of the shorter 43 grip hits me right in my palm swell and it sucks. Same issue I had with the G26. The longer grip of the 43X puts that hump just a bit lower and feels so much more comfortable for me. It also makes it dead on as a point shooter, again, for me.
Need extra magazines asap!
Anyone watching this ever ordered a firearm from their online store? Curious to know if it’s a good deal, and how long it takes to ship if the item isn’t in stock. Thanks in advance .
I’m so glad he says grip and not purchase. That term purchase drives me insane. My 9 year old like imitating Lenny. It’s hilarious
Slim slide 10mm please
Glock Store, horse hide is a lot better then cow hide as you know!!!! I know firsthand because I work on shoes a couple hundred pair a day. First of all it’s a lot more durable and holds its form better in it could be easier to bring the shine back! Keep in mind it’s also more expensive, that’s the trade-off. So if I was offered to buy a horse leather holster I would definitely spend the extra money on it over a cow hide any day!!!!
Glock store is located in San Diego, can a California resident buy a 43X there? Or can it be purchased and sent to an FFL dealer closer my home in the Bay Area?
Wait a minute, the Glock 43x nor the 48 are on the roster. Is there an exemption for FFL's or something?
43x is the best looking pistol in my opinion. both the grey and black 😍
Good review. I don't own...
They don't make metal frames?
So... You going to make a SS80"x" kit? ;)
The Glock store is in San Diego CA, why show us guns we can't get here in CA?
Lenny, I have a Glock 43X and love it, and I'm shooting good groups, but they're all left of bullseye. What's the best way to move the rear sight to the right to bring my groups over to POA ? I have the AmeriGlo Night Sights and don't know if tapping the rear sight might damage these sights. Thanks. Enjoy your videos and keep up the good work, my friend.
Work on your grip. The sights are fine
@@4sapphireb I bought a G48 which is the same as the G43X, but a longer sight radius and my shooting left went away. I love my G48. It shoots dead on and no low left problems anymore. The dealer I trade with told me when I traded my G43X that lot of people he'd sold the G43X to had complained about shooting left and low left. I'm 75 yrs old and have been shooting a gun since dad gave me a b.b. gun at age 5 so I do know about "grip problems", etc., but I knew that the 43X just did not "fit" me and wasn't going to work. I'm glad I got the G48 as I really do love it. I've had several Glocks in the past and still own several, but the G48 is "dead on" for me.
@@jerrepeak9083 it’s the skinny grip. You must have large hands. It does cause people with larger hands to pull more than they would with a thicker grip.
@@jonboy9734 No, I have just average size hands. The grip is the same on the 43X and 48, but my left / low left went away when I traded my 43X for the 48. The longer sight radius of the 48 is all I can figure.
@@jonboy9734 No, the grip is the same on the G43x and the G48. But my shooting left went away when I got the G48 with the longer sight radius. I loved the G43X, but just couldn't hit with it like I should have and with the G48 I'm "dead on" and I do love the G48. The dealer told me that a lot of people he'd sold the G43X's to did complain about shooting low & left.
A voice for radio. KNAC rocks!!!!!!!
Apparently a company is in development of an all steel magazine for these guns, that boasts a 15 round capacity. I believe it, as if you look at say, a SCCY CPX/CPX-2 mag, it is nearly identical in thickness to the polymer G43X/G48X magazine.
TBT, in owning the G43X as an IWB carry piece, I’ll most likely pass, as overall carry weight is one of the main considerations of mine in purchasing the pistol.
However, if I owned the G48X, I would most likely pick up 3 of them...
Im sure you have your answer, but for anyone else that may come along and see this. Shield Arms does make a 15 rd single stack for the 43x. Very hot commodity that runs out fast. If its available order it.
@@nickcavolli3072 since my post, I caved and bought 2. Well worth the price of admission.
@@JoannaJedrzejczyksForehead yes i went back last night seems like they jumped from 30 to 45. Atleast i remember them being 30.
like the way lenny explains the minutia
can i get 357sig barrel kit for 43x
So the 43 sights fit in the 48?
Nice video! When will the G43 and 48 be added the stupid California Handgun roster?
Glock should have left the width of the 43X and the 48 the same as the 43. Even if it would have meant having 9 round magazines. Glock could have made the 2nd magazine with a plus 1 extension plate which would have added almost nothing to the size. Then the slides could have all been interchangeable and all the magazines could have been interchangeable.
The width of the 43X is not gonna help above the 43. The Walther PPS, the Smith and Wesson 9 mm shield, the Springfield xds and the LC9s are all the same width and I can shoot bullseyes with all of them.
More colors don't like the silver..... I am going for the 48.
I'm convinced ol' Gaston designed the 43X and 48 grips (and mags) just a bit thicker on purpose so we couldn't use the stock 10rd mags as extended mags in the 43, which he knew would sell like hotcakes first. Same reason he released the G42 before the G43, which you know he already had done, to get those .380 G42 sales first. He knew people wouldn't really want a .380 from Glock, but he also knew they would sell well 'cuz Glock. It's all about the benjamins...
are there any gun channel guys with average size hands? Just asking.
Why are they illegal in California did I read that right? Thanks
Glad to see lenny did an in depth review of one of the most hated glock lines. I love my 48 and i wouldn't trade it for anything. Its a full size slim line and with 10 rnds if you need more than that then youre fucked. If you buy one i do highly recommend the pyramid trigger and change the glock bucket sites and i guarantee you wont regret it. And its easily concealable even with bigger guys like myself, i have to gut tuck it but it doesnt print through any of my clothing especially with my l.a.g. 2 in 1 iwb appendix holster.
I got my first Glock 43x for CC last Saturday. I love it. I am checking out all the videos here and wanted to ask a sort of related question. The sound is so crisp and clear and I am just envying the quality. :) What mic / setup are you using for the videos? I'd like to use it on my own tutorials (not gun related, I'm a dog groomer :D). I'd really appreciate the info. I Hope to hear from you! Thanks in advance!
