What a powerful voice!
Any time I hear Tim do an acoustic song, I always get chills. Never ceases to amaze me.
I love Tim's raspy voice, it's like there's a party in my ears.

is it just me or is everything rise against does just about the best thing you can hear
There are so few people in this day and age that can sing well live. Many are awful live and are simply studio artists. It is nice to know that talent does in fact still exist in music.
I actually love when the crowd is quiet during a live performance. That way I can hear it!!

If you listen to the responce they get after they've finished, its clear the audience was asked to be quiet during the song as it was acoustic, it would throw the sound off too much if they were to increase the volume more.
brilliant band live, i wish they would bring out an acoustic album...
I'm a few years late... but they did release an acoustic version!

I saw them live last year for the first time when they came finally came to my town in South Africa. Was hands down one of the best nights of my life. Would give anything to have been in this small crowd.

To be fair a voice like that is hard to maintain, he's definitely gonna have some off nights, but acoustic, he will kill it every time!
This is at the MuchMusic building. Yeah, the crowd could've been a little more excited to be there, but since this is a televised broadcast, they're probably told to not do anything like move around or scream or whatever or else they'd get kicked out. Just a guess. I've seen that type of thing before involving televised broadcasts. and especially since I believe that MuchOnDemand is live.

but it's completely right what boxcar said, I first heard prayer of the refugee just randomly (I think it was on the radio).. I liked it and so I searched for that band.. and now I'm one of their biggest fans, knowing all their songs.
It's all about being in public, else you have no chance to know that band.. how did u find rise against?!

have you ever been to one of these things? because it's not their faults lol the host usually tells people to not make noise etc like before the band comes up to preform they are told to be as quiet as possible and not to yell so much. just wanted to share a friendly piece of info with you on that.
I have to sing for like an hour till I have no voice just to get it raspy like this.

I'm sorry man, but i think if the band knew what people who dressed like that did at concerts, they wouldn't appreciate them much either.
I went to a RA concert in February, and, minding my own business got at least three people thrown onto my head by the "scene" crowd at the concert.
Tell me that hostility would be appreciated by Rise Against, who are the chillest dudes in the music industry.

You can tell his throat is in pretty bad shape in this video. He still manages to sound pretty good though :)
