Maurice is SUCH a phenomenal, charismatic host and interviewer
I was the coach of the Tyson’s kid! -and the rest of the group. In a year (2011-2012) went from low ranked to 1600s. That year the school team shared the first national place with California in Nashville K6 Nationals. Such good times! :)
Maurice is like the coolest brother ever, I love this dude.
I watched this stream live from germany. Kept me wide awake until 4 am. Best stream I've ever had the chance to follow. Also, Happy Birthday Maurice!
Loved this talk , great host , great guest .Mind- boggling thoughts that left my spirits high . Keep it up man !
This is so great to watch. Ones an expert in communicating Chess, the other's an expert in communicating Science! God damn!
Numbers represent everything in this 3D dimension - what is 9 according to N.Tesla? Numbers themselves are 'Matrix code'. I disagree with Neil about them numbers (because Tesla and his logic about them), but I loved everything else :^ Thank you both for this!
Maurice, this is genuinely one of THE best chess streams I’ve ever watched in the years I’ve been on twitch. I watched this live at 2-3am in the UK. It was amazing!
This is amazing you guys meet up and talk.
this was absolutely awesome GM Ash..!!!!!
This stream was so good gotta watch it twice!!!!
Thanx Maurice. Very interesting and entertaining conversation between 2 highly creative, talented minds! By the way, I watched this in my van on the go!?
Maaaan Maurice is taking chess to the quantum level
I really appreciated this video tnx ❤️
This was an awesome collaboration! I really enjoyed this video.
Couldn't catch it live unfortunately, thanks for the upload!
For some reason, i'd really love to see what he thinks of 5D chess where knights for example can move 2 move in a direction and 1 in another, but unlike regular chess you can move in time so you can take your knight and move 2 tempos in the past and 1 square in another direction.
Thanks Neil for answering the big question about Star Wars/Star Trek.. Good question GM!
Maurice & Neil deGrasse Tyson. Wow! I am glad I stumble across your page and to then stumble onto this video. In a way I guess the internet is like a worm whole of information, where sometimes you ask un-related but specific questions and somehow end up at the answer you've been looking for.
Caught a bit live with my children, looking forward to watching the full video.
You had me at Forcefield lolol love this! There is NO spoooooooon .
A easy way to solve all those chess puzzles is to go back from the one piece that is connected only once. because the queen has to travel TO and FROM the pieces along the way, you can simply go back the route from the last piece to the queen.
THIS IS THE CONTENT IM AFTER THANK YOU MY MAN MAURICE!
Happy Birthday Maurice!
How did Maurice setup the board for those drills?
GM Maurice Ashley is taking chess to a new level! I want to see a Boom Chess Channel on steaming tv, hosted by him!
I love watching this because these are two people who love to hear themselves talk, and are both extremely smart and charismatic. It’s two alphas going back and forth. Fun stuff!
Criminal that this only has 4000 views so far...
Best video ever! Awesome contemplations!
Two of my idols together👏🏾👍🏾😊
This was a great interview. Thank you GM MA.
The science of chess: Celebrate curiosity.. and you'll learn to ask great questions. In chess only, 2 legs of a triangle equal the length of the hypotenuse. "Tunneling" A chessboard is many configurations of wormholes. Look beyond arbitrary rules or conventional measures to see what's possible and fundamental. There are more but you'll have to watch the video.
Maurice is fully Gangsta!
2 MCs battling out on stream😎😉
The chess board is 64 wormholes. - NDT paraphrased
NEIL OMGGGGGGGGGG
I was not high enough for this
57:15... Neil's solution is wrong, but perhaps the problem was not defined accuratly in the first place to prevent a possibility of the queen being taken by any of the pawns.
if the pawns were allowed to move/capture then most of the puzzles would not make sense, he did define the rule at the start, you just didn't pay attention
I thought that was a clickbait 😂, o boy so awesome
This interview Is amazing
Great stream :D neil looks so sleepy though
Great content !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nice video.big hi from serbia
awesome show
Please upload the games! :)
Epic
omg bobby fischer big fan
56:48 I don't think Neil blew up your puzzle Maurice. If he takes on h3 before taking on g4 there is gxh3. Your solution was the most aesthetically pleasing for a chess player
lmao if the pawns were allowed to move/capture then most of the puzzles would not make sense
Underated video!
Thank you so much
Maurice got the drip tho
this is incredible!
Very nice!
Twin Spirits.
Wow you have a channel yay
Greatttt
this is a masterpiece, can you guys collaborate all the time or something please
Am I the only one that got depressed at 32:00?
Gonna be real, Neal is not very good at chess if that queen puzzle took him that long. Maurice was throwing out some softballs
Also I only say that because I’m not very good at chess either and those were really easy for me. So clearly I’m smarter than an astrophysicist.
I was waiting for them to play chess ..
They never did .
Tell him to use alphazero to solve the universe black hole problem!!!
algo
Uhhhhh first ha ha haaaaa
