Our first stop on this breathtaking journey is the Carretera Austral in Chile - a road trip that still holds a special place in our hearts as one of our favorite travel experiences.
In just 12 days (but we recommend at least 3 weeks), with a 4x2 SUV, a tent in the trunk, and a camping stove, we encountered incredible wildlife, stunning nature, breathtaking landscapes, and a truly adventurous road.

Don't make fire, is dangerous and is not permissible in Chile. Un isrealian did a big fire in Parque Nacional Torres del Paine. ✌🇨🇱

Excelente comentario, hace algunos años turistas de Israel prendieron una fogata y se quemo un 30 % de un parque,....ESTO NO PUEDE VOLVER A OCURRIR, Favor los organismos técnicos y de fiscalización que emitan un documento en varios idiomas respecto de los cuidados con el medio ambiente, situaciones fuera de control, los riesgos y los teléfonos para dar cuenta de un hecho que amenace su seguridad. La Firma de los turistas que entienden y aceptan respetar estas normas de seguridad y de respecto del medio ambiente
Así es, no teníamos la información al principio de nuestra aventura. Quiero señalar que nos disculpamos de antemano en la descripción del video y que los Carabineros fueron muy amables y comprensivos y nos explicaron la norma en Villa O'Higgins. A partir de entonces, no hicimos más fuegos de campamento.
La zona es preciosa y sería muy malo para la naturaleza.
@@breathingoutdoorlife El comentario tenia como único objetivo recomendar, somos humanos y a veces cuando realizamos excursiones hay detalles que no conocemos o no imaginamos que nos puedan afectar, o el potencial peligro que tienen asociadas ... ( por ejemplo esa zona también es el habitad salvaje del Puma Felino del tamaño de un perro grande ) en general le teme a los humanos, pero una mamá Puma con una camada de cachorros ... podría sentirse amenazada ). ahi la recomendación es que solo realizaran excursiones en zonas seguras, lugares de uso continuo de personas, las excursiones a sitios fuera de rutas turísticas es necesario realizarlas con guías especializados.... Afectuosos saludos y no se limiten, sino que cada ruta estudiarla y hacer el análisis de riesgo

Hi there!
The road is sometimes good and sometimes very bad as it's gravel road with holes. We had an SUV 4x2 and we didn't regret it, as we had some wildcamp spots that we couldn't have reached without an SUV 😉

@@breathingoutdoorlife ohhh it's true, too many Magic trees, waterfalls, mauntains, etc.
This is such an interesting, captivating video! I've been so curious about Patagonia and South America in general, as we don't get much news, info, or informative media unless it's the bad stuff. In the far-south it seems like the population is too low and infrastructure is quite primitive in most places so I can understand why there aren't tons of TikTok videos of daily life with the penguins lol! This makes me want to collect some warm gear and visit Patagonia!!
Very true! There are so many information we didn't have before being there. We will put all the information we got in our Blog as soon as we have a little bit of time for it 😄
The infraestructure is not primitive in Chile. Chile is a top tourism country.
