I also catch ArkansasGals. She's funny. I would love to see the finished block during the unboxing. I think it gives more inspiration to see the completion of the boxes contents.
I love sew sampler boxes, but had to cancel for awhile so I can get caught up on all the projects. Now I order the quarterly boxes from FQS to get my subscription box fix! One day I will get back on the monthly boxes. Thanks for the fun video!
I took a year off and wish I had last years BOM's as I loved the flower blocks...I started again in April of this year too. Now i have even more projects to work on

Don't feel constrained by anything that makes you feel you "have to" that adds pressure to your month. Do it the way that brings you the joy of sewing, and if that changes month to month, that's fine.

Subscription boxes aren’t my thing, but from the unboxings I’ve watched, I think FQS is the company that uses the best fabrics in their boxes. I use souvenir refrigerator magnets for my needle minders. I heard someone - I think it might have been Tula Pink - say that when she opens a new sketch book, she scribbles on the first page so that all the other pages will be better. Maybe just putting something like a sticker or photograph on the first page of a journal will give your brain permission to write in the remainder of the journal. I hope you enjoy the new quilt block series from the Sew Sampler boxes.

I love the Sew Sampler box! Pieceful Baskets is pretty! I haven't decided what fabric I'll use yet. Genius idea to put the needleminders on your light bar!
This is one of my favorite boxes. I have already cut out the fabric for the quilt pattern. It would be easier to see the items if you held them closer to the camera. Thanks for sharing.

I signed up for the sew along too lol - I did the block and it came out about a 1/2 smaller so I did a smaller one with the leftover fabrics - used an imaginary quilt math since I had no clue if it would work lol

Oh LOL I'm so clueless. I use the needle minder on my t-shirt when I'm pulling and burying threads, or when I need to hand-sew something 🤣🤣🙃

I wish international postage wasn’t so expensive as I’d love to get this subscription box. To conquer the fear of messing up the front pages of a journal or notebook I start writing in the back and work back to front in them! 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️😂

I grew out of sew sampler years ago and subscribed to the fat quarter bundle monthly box. Then I did the layer cake subscription with the fat quarter. I finally stopped all subscriptions about three years ago.

You might have already thought of this, but what if you bought 2 of the exact same journal/notebook and kept one on display and used the duplicate? I get paralyzed with a List style and think I might do better with bubble style on a blank unlined page.

I bought the kit for the basket sew along as well. Much prefer to actually be sewing right along with you instead of seeing your sewn block afterwards…pretty please?
