Yeah for sure, firstly when you strip it try to ensure you’re using the correct strip tool and size for that wire. If you score the thin copper strands they are more likely to break off. Secondly use your fingers to gentle twist them together not a tool. Lastly ensure you’re using a small marette to make the connection, one rated for that wire size. Hope that helps!
